We made reservations earlier in the day and got to the hotel at 1:30 am. The lady at the front desk was very kind and happy to great us, she got us checked in and paid our pet deposit ($20 non refundable). We got the last room of the night. The rooms are nice without going over the top if you will! The bed and pillows were very comfortable in me and my husband’s opinion. The water was hot and rooms were clean. I have no complaints!!

Great place to stop for the night with your family. I felt safe, and the staff were very friendly checking in and leaving in the morning. The woman who checked us in made cookies which were so good! She said they had nachos too, but we missed out because we went to the Cracker Barrel for dinner. The woman who checked us out was friendly and even helped my daughter who was trying to buy a snack from the vending machine. She saw I was alone with my girls and sort of watched over them while they were eating breakfast so I could put a few bags in my van. I didn't even ask her to, she was just so nice. The only take away from the place was that my room smelled a little musty, probably from the humidity. Maybe it was just my room, but maybe they could air them out a little better? Other than that the room was clean and decorated very nicely. Breakfast was very good too. They had eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, juice, muffins, etc. I would definitely stop here again on my way to FL.

Place is an absolute DUMP, broken, BURNT, and filthy furniture; bathroom plumbing actually hanging out of the wall, no shower curtain liner, toilet paper that could easily be described as one dimensional. Front desk staff is a toss up. The night ladies are really sweet, but the morning lady was absolutely AWFUL. She knocked on the door at 10:58 (did not call the room first) and told us to “get out” because check out is eleven. I explained that our reservation should have been booked for 3 nights not two. She said “Well it IS only for 2 nights and you can’t stay any longer than 11am.” I asked why and she said “I can’t add on so you need to come down and make a new reservation”. That conversation could have been A LOT KINDER and more pleasant than it was. She acted like we were freeloaders. It was an honest mistake as we had mistakenly only booked two nights. Even so, I don’t think harassing people is necessary or productive. If you’re staying more than one night, I recommend paying the extra $15-30 per night to stay the other couple places close to this one. I have stayed at those ones as well and they are far superior for the money.

For what we paid, this place was ok. The one thing that ruined our stay was a particular member of staff who definitely shouldn't be in a customer facing roll. The day time receptionist was unpleasant and unhelpful, not just to us, but to other guests also. We went for breakfast at 9.15am and she was practically stood over us, clock watching, while we ate. Another couple came down at 9.30am and she made them feel so uncomfortable, they grabbed a muffin each and left. While we were finishing our breakfast she loudly go the bin out and cleaned up around us. There was an evening receptionist, Michelle, who was entirely different, and deserves a mention. Michelle couldn't do enough for us. She always had a smile on her face and was so helpful. She even baked cookies for the guests! What a shame the place is let down by one member of staff.

I spent one night here on a motorcycle trip. The room I was in was a king with a sofa, and it was very nice. Very clean. Oddly enough the towels were a little ratty but they were just fine. Hot breakfast in the morning, with plenty of seating. The service, both in the evening and in the morning, was excellent. They have a small sundries convenience shop, and ice cream. The hotel is in walking distance of food so you don't need to drive for dinner. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival the lady at the front desk was super nice but as soon as I got to the second floor the odor was overwhelming. The AC was off everywhere which didn't help that issue. The room was very small but that wouldn't have been an issue but the TV didn't work, the internet didn't work and my phone didn't have much service once I got in the room. It did smell in the room as well not as bad as the hallway. The AC barely worked. When the elevator went up or down the room vibrated up and down. This was the first time I ever walked out on a room that I paid for. I went next door to the Bonvoy Marriott and got a room there. Wyndham hotels are generally good but not this time.

Just checked in about 30 mins. Ago.. But fabulous so far! Hot, fresh baked cookies at 6 pm. Delicious! (Serving nachos at 6:30). Lots of dinner choices near by. Michelle went beyond to make us feel special. Edited: Great bed.. Firm but not hard. Quiet room even though just off lobby.Friendly morning staff as well. Breakfast was good.. Included in room price.

My wife and I booked this hotel because it was close to my son’s house. He’s in the navy and we wanted to spend time with him, his wfe, and our grandchildren. We also booked it because of the good rates. The staff was very nice. But we were very disappointed with the room. We booked a room with a queen-size bed. First of all, the queen-size bed was not queen size. It was full-size (and that’s a fact). The room was very small. Way too small for two adults with lots of luggage. The front desk clerk was very nice and offered us a larger room. But in the larger room, almost everything we touched was dusty. There was hair in the bathtub. There was hair on our bed. There were food crumbs in the chair. We pulled back the sheets to look for bedbugs. We didn’t see any, but there were a few tiny brown spots on the mattress. To me, this is an indication that bugs were there at one time (and could still be hiding in the seams). The most disgusting thing we saw was when we pulled the mattress away from the wall. It was a lot of debris and food crumbs on the floor. Even worse, there was the crack pipe and drug paraphernalia on the floor. We told the front desk clerk and showed her the pictures we took. She was very nice and apologetic. She even offered us another room. But at this time enough was enough. We told the clerk that we do not want to stay at this hotel. She was able to fully refund our credit card. I will be sending the pictures to their corporate office. We were extremely disappointed and will never return to this hotel again.

It was a great stop for the night! Mattress was so comfortable, room was nice and clean. But the best was Dany the lady at the front desk. Very efficent and so personable and pleasant. The cookies and nachos was a nice touch also. I highly recommend this Microtel!!!

I had a nice stay. The room was clean, the woman at the front desk was friendly. My complaint is that my credit card was charged 3 times. I was told the charges would fall off once I checked out. They did not. I spent 45 minutes on the phone (being placed on hold) while the manager on duty contacted the credit card company and at times had to check people in (understandable) to be provided a reference number and no refund. I stayed here on 6/30. It's now 7/5 and I still have yet to see the charges come off of my account. That's $160 of my money that's tied up waiting. My bank told me to contact the hotel, the hotel says I need to wait for the bank. The charges are still pending and I am wildly frustrated. I understand it's a holiday weekend, but only one of the days in the last 5 was an actual holiday. At the end of the day, this is a mistake the hotel made. My card should have never been charged 3 times and I feel they haven't done anything to make their mistake right. They could have given me Wyndham points or discounted my stay for the inconvenience. Just disappointed and still waiting for my money.

Everything was on point. Every single employee was kind and willing to help. The room was clean and comfortable. There is plenty to choose from for breakfast including biscuit and gravy, sausage, eggs, yogurt, waffle maker for waffles, muffins, bagel with cream cheese or peanut butter and cereal. We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. Would 100% stay again.

Nice smaller, pet friendly hotel, in a busy area very close to US 95, with a central lobby and interior hallways/elevators. The hotel sits, along with several other hotels, behind a number of businesses (gas stations, restaurants, etc.) that line the main road. There was a lot of traffic but the distance from the road minimized the noise. The interior is well kept and clean and the staff was friendly. The room, while not newly finished, was nicely appointed with minimal wear. Although we didn't need it, the room had a lot of storage - drawers, cabinets, shelves - more than most standard hotel rooms. There was a note at the front desk stating remodelling was going on, but we didn't see any construction type areas. The outdoor pool and its fenced-in area was very clean, as well as the parking lot and grassy areas surrounding the property. The complimentary breakfast was quite satisfactory, with hot and cold items and typical breakfast drinks. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Room was dirty with urine on the toilet seat, hair on the towels, dirty shower, and almost no water pressure. Breakfast was mediocre. Front desk waived our pet fee, but charged us for it after we checked out.

I would stay here again. Very comfy bed and pillows. Stopped in on a whim passing thru. Fair prices, ice machines worked, rooms were clean, even though we had to take pet-friendly rooms. I couldn’t tell pets had been there. Pool was nice. Breakfast was perfect; something for everyone in our picky clan. Glad we stopped here!!

Dani at the front desk was very kind, helpful, and attentive! The room I stayed in was outdated, but clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was fine. Breakfast was your standard eggs, sausage, cereal, etc. No complaint there. I would stay here again.

The staff are extremely friendly, rates are reasonable and the location has plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Rooms were very clean and had decent amenities. For us it was a great halfway point in our traveling and will definitely be staying again in the future.

Needed to make my way north in preparation for the hurricane. Stopped off with my pet at 2am after finding the room was available. Room was small, and price gouging due to the storm appeared to be the case which is just poor nature. Paid $120 for this place that online is $60. Room was dirty, hair in sheets, spiders and bugs roaming the room, shower with poor water pressure. Unless you're hard up, just pass this place by. The front desk was friendly, but the rooms are not nice. The price gouging was unacceptable.

Stayed here for my trip to Cumberland Island. Room was clean . Michele checked me and was very nice and friendly. Variety of breakfast items. Near by lots of places . The decor/ room color is a little off (not a deal breaker at all ) i think of the other furniture were black/ more modern the green color would compliment it more. Also wish there were plugs higher up to charge my phone. Still a 5/5

The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The room was very small. I had nowhere to fully open my suitcase unless I did it on the bed. The latex sheets (I assume it was latex) were horrible. There was hair on my bed and in the sink. Since it was late and I was tired, I did not request another room. The room was very noisy. Outside was an ice machine and the traffic noise throughout the night was very bothersome. Breakfast was really good with a good choice of products. For the price I paid I expected something better. I will not recommend this hotel.

The room was nice enough. No cleanliness issues or anything. The front desk lady when we checked in at night was amazing. She was very nice and even helped me to my room! She was also super sweet to my dog.

This hotel is kept very clean,’in a great location just off I95, but far away enough that you don’t hear the traffic fly by. The reason for rating the room a 4 is the carpet in the room which I don’t like. Wonderful greeting/service from Dani at the front desk; you can tell this Lady loves her job and she is fantastic at it! Will definitely stay there again! Great value!

Great service and extras such as the warm cookie, nachos, and breakfast were nice, and as a one night stay on our way to the beach it was a good deal. However, the pool had a dead frog in it and the filter didn't seem to be working, the air conditioner never got very cold, there were stains and unclean surfaces on tables, chairs, and other items. Shower wasn't very clean with some debris on the wall, also toilet wasn't scrubbed well. The bed was clean, and we all slept well, so not bad, just not great.

Very nice, cozy and quiet hotel. Fresh bed and towels. Everything is there in the room. They need to pay a little more attention to cleanliness, but this did not spoil the overall impression :)

Normally not one of the chains we stay in but looked fine from outside. Good all in all. Michelle checked us in and was very sweet. Gave us a good dinner recommendation (OPS Pizza). Hotel hidden behind a Dunkin donut.

The night I arrived all I wanted to do was shower and sleep after driving all night. When I arrived, the bathtub was SO dirty. There were hairs that weren’t ours. The toilet was dirty on the inside and so was the sink. You can tell the floor wasn’t swept or mopped in days. I called the front desk and asked them if a housekeeper could come in the morning and clean the bathroom. They said ok. The following morning I was eager for a shower and it was less than a hour to checkout and no one ever came to clean the bathroom. The room itself was HOT. I tried turning the AC to max and it was just stuffy and warm. Not worth the $100. More like a cheap motel. We weren’t offered a change of room or any compensation.

Ours was a quick overnight stop on the way to North Carolina. While we didn’t see much of the hotel other than our room, the ladies at the front made our short stay very pleasant. They were very friendly and efficient at check in. They also were quite the fans of our dog, Shelby. She loved the attention they gave her. While we can’t recall their names, their friendliness will definitely be remembered. We would choose to stay here again because of them!

My family and I stayed here for one night one our way back home from Disney. It's was a nice stay! Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, and great room with storage space and refrigerator and microwave. There was a laundry room on our hall available to use! Front desk people were great! They serve breakfast in the morning and natchos at night. By the front desk they have all sorts of toiletries, ice cream, snacks, and an ice machine!
