Oh,
where
to
begin.
I’m
a
fan
of
high
end
steakhouses
-
and
this
is
one.
However,
in
summary,
the
place
has
a
twinge
of
kitsch
and
a
sliiiight
turn
of
the
“show
up
to
be
seen”
knob
a
little
on
the
high
side
for
what
it
is.
I
was
by
myself,
and
originally
planned
on
coming
by
Saturday
and
just
sitting
at
the
bar
(my
usual
test
of
a
place
like
this)
but
getting
in
even
to
grab
a
bar
seat
was
IMPOSSIBLE.
Yeah,
that’s
the
brakes
being
solo
-
but
I
did
see
“reserved”
placards
at
the
bar
so
maybe
there
is
a
way,
or
it’s
only
for
VIPs.
Sunday
night
was
just
as
packed.
Got
a
seat
and
must
say
the
service
was
great.
The
food
was
also
incredible
-
but
I
sprung
for
the
A5
Wagyu
filet,
so
it
better
be.
However,
I
was
a
little
surprised
there
was
a
tad
of
gristle
on
the
filet.
For
$170
this
shouldn’t
be
the
case
-
I
did
mention
it,
but
it
was
shrugged
off.
Oh
well,
it
didn’t
ruin
it
-
it
was
just
surprising.
I
matched
that
with
the
mac
and
cheese
(contrast
the
top
notch
with
the
pedestrian)
and
it
was
killer.
Finished
with
some
dessert
wine.
All
fantastic.
My
server,
Corey,
was
great
-
but
it
was
a
little
busy.
I
wasn’t
dressed
to
the
nines
(which
I
never
do
at
such
a
place,
I
want
to
know
how
they
treat
someone
not
in
an
Armani
suit)
and
he
was
attentive
and
friendly.
So
that’s
good.
The
crowd
-
interesting.
About
a
third
through
my
meal
a
woman
sat
down
next
to
me
with
a
selfie
stick
and
a
pair
of
cameras,
voguing
for
herself.
All
good
-
found
out
she
was
a
local
news
anchor
and
we
ran
into
each
other
again
later
and
chatted
quite
a
bit.
But
some
folks
here
were
clearly
putting
on
a
show,
and
a
bit
over
the
top
at
that
for
a
Sunday
night.
I
guess
people
will
do
that,
but
a
few
people
I
think
confused
Lexington
for
Dubai
and
probably
need
to
chill
a
bit.
As
for
the
ambiance
-
the
piano
man
is
fantastic.
All
over
the
map
on
his
songs,
and
in
a
good
way.
Him
being
up
on
a
stage
above
the
bar
is
a
weeee
bit
corny,
but
his
talent
blanked
out
anything
in
that
regard.
To
be
honest
-
I’d
go
back
just
to
see
that
dude.
He’s
awesome.
Only
negative
I
will
say,
and
I’ll
be
straight
about
it
-
the
valets
out
front
are,
well,
jerks.
I
had
tried
coming
by
earlier
and
it
was
just
mobbed,
so
I
waited
and
came
back
-
and
they
made
a
crack
about
me
trying
to
get
a
seat
this
time..
Something
like
“maybe
next
time
being
your
girlfriend..
or
boyfriend!”
Ok,
pal,
I’m
here
on
business
and
nobody
needs
your
commentary.
It
certainly
wasn’t
all
of
them
as
one
valet
was
friendly
as
I
was
leaving
and
wished
me
a
good
evening,
but
a
couple
of
them
need
a
check
and
to
grow
up
a
bit.
Overall,
a
fun
place
if
you
can
get
in.
The
place
takes
itself
about
10%
too
seriously
and
about
20%
of
the
clientele
do
the
same.
Worth
checking
out,
for
sure.
