Quiet, clean, attractive place with nice front desk. They gluten free bread on the breakfast bar. I was extremely agitated by the mother w/ 2 extremely rude late teen girls that were checking in. The girls were laughing, make ugly comments, rolling their eyes when the front desk clerk was being kind, like they were annoyed he was kind. The mother had puffy blond hair, heavy, and a Brahim rainbow purse wearing a flowery dress. One of the girls was an App State Student. I sincerely apologize to the clerk having to tolerate that behavior, and the mom who allowed it. And if she happens to see this, teach your children better manners.

This place really does great job! Clean room and hotel overall. Nice personnel. Great breakfasts (I stayed here for 2 nights). Hassle free check in. Wonderful pool and hot tub. I would defenetly stop here next time.

Seriously one of the BEST hotels we have ever stayed at! We took a last minute weekend vacation to get out of Raleigh and were able to book a room just before driving to Boone that same day. As soon as we got there the front desk asked what we were in Boone for, we explained it was last minute so we weren’t skiing or anything and he gave us a plethora of food/drink places to check out. The rooms were very clean, staff was extremely helpful and friendly, plus you can’t go wrong with seeing all the cute pups walking around. This place has a cozy feel to it and it was everything we were hoping for! We will be back :)

Stayed here while visiting Appalachian ski mountain and Sugar mountain ski resort. Short driving distance and near a lot of stores/ eating places. Very affordable for those traveling with families. I also loved that they were pet friendly and they did not have a PET FEE. That alone make our stay 100xs more enjoyable. They also had free parking and breakfast which had a wide variety of food. Rooms were very clean upon arrival and staff was very friendly. Hot tub was closed at the time but that didn’t matter. Definitely will be our chosen hotel to stay at in the future ❤️

I'm not sure what Quinta means in Spanish, but I am hoping it means awesome mountain hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and the complimentary breakfast was nothing short of delightful. The dog friendly policy gives the place a homey feel, and they do a good job enforcing the dog safety policy. I was not even growled at once, although my privates did get sniffed but in a friendly/flirty way. Awesome place!

If you want to feel like you’re in the same room with your fellow travelers and enjoy hearing them cough, blow their nose and walk above your head, this is the perfect hotel for you! I could hear the talking from the hallway too. The constant beep of my neighbors text messages was maddening. Toilet flushing sounds? You bet! All freakin night long. I could hear the toilets flush on both sides and all 3 rooms above. All this action for a meager $265 a night! This place is absolutely horrible. Oh I must say the front desk people were amazing. Very friendly! Hint: turn the fan in high and if you can get to sleep with the air blasting you might be ok. I didn’t complain because there weren’t any other rooms available in all of Boone….graduation weekend. And now some guy is yelling next door….good grief!

On a recent trip to Boone, we stayed at La Quinta. After considering of hotels we decided on this one because it was close to the downtown core and other amenities. The check in was easy and fast. The staff member was really friendly and even told us the best locations for great views of the city. A quick elevator ride up to the third floor, we opened the door to a very clean room. The room was equipped with the regulars - bed, fridge and microwave. But also had a few firsts for us. It had a hot tub and a fireplace. We found everything clean and the room was quite spacious. Large windows on one side provided good lighting. The view was of the parking lot. My wife was ecstatic over the hot top and fireplace , but she also was over the water pressure in the shower. Hot water also came up right away. There was no wait! And we were supplied with small little bars of Dove soap. I of course did not want to celebrate over such a small thing, but found myself acknowledging the excellent shower head. Lol. Our overall experience was a really good one. One we'd repeat again without hesitation. We highly recommend this location.

Great hotel to stay at when visiting the Boone area. It is our go-to hotel. Great and friendly service, great breakfast and beautiful outdoor seating available!

Very clean, nice looking hotel. Our room had a big jet tube by bed and breakfast was awesome the next morning. Will be back. Only 3 star's on location cause of traffic to get in to it.

Boone is a dog friendly town and this is the hotel for you if you travel with pets. Call them directly and do so well in advance. One floor of one side of the hotel is pet friendly. These people are absolutely great.

Just a one night stay on our way to visit family. Great location near downtown. Staff was amazing and made our stay pleasurable and were very helpful. Our room was in a great location and very clean throughout.

Great people!! Very helpful and pleasant. Michelle the charge housekeeper goes above and beyond. La Quinta would be lost without her in charge of housekeeping. Mercedes a house keeper who only cleaned my room once, has a nasty attitude. She put bar soap in my toilet. Didn't refill toilet paper, tissue. And she didn't refill the towels properly. 2 towels and no washcloths. Her first words to me were, " are you smoking in here"? I'm not a big smoker nor am I trying to get charged 250 if you do smoke. No person whomever came to my room made that remark. That wad the only bad experience. The breakfast is awesome!! Wait staff are super nice and accommodating. Clean motel, pool and hotub!!! The wrap around porch is very relaxing. They also cater to pet owners!

We had several difficulties with the room when we arrived, late and very tired. The shower valve did not work properly, the carpet was not visibly vacuumed and worst of all was the smell - it smelled like it had been used for an all-night kegger, awful sour beer odor. Hence two stars for the room. HOWEVER the night desk staff, Tonya and later the manager, Allen were WONDERFUL. They did EVERYTHING they could to mitigate the issues, going above and beyond current standards of customer service. BECAUSE OF THIS SERVICE, we will be back again to La Quinta Inn & Suites. It is obvious that La Quinta has a customer service culture from the top down, despite our specific room challenges. We'll be back! Thank you so much Allen and Tonya for going the extra mile!!

BEDBUGS! Was completely eaten by bedbugs over a 2 night staym the first night I thought I developed a rash but in reality my back and neck were covered in HUNDREDS of bites. Neck is completely swollen and covered in bites across both arms as well. Make sure to check wooden headboard cracks especially here. Also was CHARGED for my 2 nights even after this ordeal... EDIT: These rooms were definitely not well cleaned I should have known when I entered my room and it stank horribly of wet dog and had dog hair coating the couch cushions.

Huge shout out to the staff here. Both the manager Allan and front desk Tonya went far and beyond above board to resolve our issues. The customer service was truly amazing. We appreciate everything they did to accommodate us and will be back to Boone LA Quinta in the future.

Great atmosphere and staff we very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are decorated nicely with most of the amenities that you need. Beds were comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was decent. We stayed here to see Linville Falls and Grandfather Mountain., unfortunately, the fog was too heavy to see the views on the mountain. We will return within a year to try again (tickets are valid for that time period). Most definitely will return to this La Quinta. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Absolutely perfect! The view you get on the porch is so pretty! The place is completely animal friendly. Free breakfast in the morning with many options. The employees are super nice. I definitely recommend staying here if on the area.

I needed a room at the last minute because of the weather. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast was good, and the price was reasonable. Will definitely plan to stay there again.

My wife and I enjoyed our short stay at the La Quinta Hotel in Boone. Our little Shi Zu Ollie was with us and enjoyed the trip as well. We look forward to staying at this location on our future trips to the NC mountains .

This is absolutely one of the best little hotels we've ever stayed at. Every single person who works here is so nice. We had a little trouble figuring out the AC and the maintenance person arrived so fast and was so nice. The breakfast person was fast and efficient to make sure we had everything we needed, and the front desk staff were all so friendly. It was clean, comfortable and also super close to downtown Boone. Definitely a find, and I'll be staying here again!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well stocked and they kept the eating areas clean. Rooms are a little noisy with hearing kids running around on the floor above us, and outside in the hallway, but that's normal with a hotel situation.

Beautiful hotel. Love the woodwork!! Only one compliant. I don't drink coffee, so I grab the carafe of hot water to make some tea. Water was lukewarm in all three carafes😞Aside from that, we will be returning and highly recommend La Quinta in Boone, NC ❤️❤️💛

We stayed at this location during memorial weekend for a calm and restful business trip. This space was perfect for exactly that. The staff was friendly and accommodating for check-in. The breakfast was hot and good and covered what you need for a good hot breakfast. There is oatmeal, no grits if that matters to you. Plenty of fruit, yogurt, the juice was EXCELLENT, and the staff keeps the breakfast area clean. The pool is well maintained and plenty of pool towels available. The hot tub was also clean, there was limited bubbles which means not much dead skin cells floating around in there from people not rinsing off before entering (shower before you enter people!). Our room was spectacular. The cleaning staff is friendly to you while they move through the halls. We would gladly return to this location and sooooooo glad we chose here over an airbnb. This was a clean, restful, 10/10 experience, and pet friendly too!!

Booked this room for my family of 5. We need a suite because we have three small kids. Do not be fooled by the photos of the rooms online. Nothing like pictures in person. The suite was dark, musty, and old looking. Didn’t feel comfortable letting my youngest sleep on the couch bed as it was broken looking in the middle, musty, and run down looking. Furniture needing a update. The room was dark and smelled as soon as we walked in. Someone in a room near or next to us was smoking marijuana which filtered into our room while staying. Keep in mind I have three small kids with me as well. So having to explain the odor. The view is of a busy street and the street noise can be loud at times. This was a last minute booking on my part. Please research before you book, and note how many 4-5 star reviews there are. If it sounds too good to be true, chances are it is. Not staying here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and very professional. The room was great. The room and the public spaces were very clean. Indoor pool and hot tub. Hot breakfast with plenty of gluten free choices. Love the pet policy. No cons, only pros. Second year for us, and plan to return next year.

Very good hot buffet breakfast with quality, selection, good food and well staffed service. I have stayed in many places that offer complementary breakfast; this is the best I have experienced in the last 3 years anywhere. My highest complements to this excellent team of service providers.

Come to Boone frequently, this time for a football game. Leaving the game, I received an alert from my credit card that a large charge had been made to my credit card by the hotel . Ok, that's fine, no problem. Get to hotel, they wanted my credit card again. I showed them where it was already charged. They said new policy that they have to do it again because of so many people leaving without paying. So they charged it again and I now have 2 pending payments totaling almost $500 on my cc. They said one payment will drop off in 5-7 days. Another person was having the same problem and didn't have room on their card for the double charge so was having to work out either cash payment or another card! I could tell the staff was frustrated having to explain this, felt bad for them. Anyway, just be prepared for this possibility if you do have to stay here. Other than that, the room was great, no noise whatsoever, and they do a nice breakfast. But the way they charged for the room has left a bad taste for me and i have adjusted my next 4 stays in Boone to other hotels in the area.

This is one of our favorite places to stay while visiting the Boone area. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The beds are queen sized and the rooms are always well kept. There is a large wrap-around deck with lots of seating and an indoor pool and hot tub. Will definitely return for another stay.

The property was all remodeled and immaculate. Our room was amazingly big for the price we were paying. Breakfast was great - also had different options for people who just want fruit or a bagel. Staff friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and stay beer again.

The La Quinta Inn surprised me! The hotel was super clean, up to date, and in a great location. They offered a free breakfast, which looked good, but we didn't try. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious! I only have one complaint. My husband forgot his toothbrush and we both forgot toothpaste...they didn't have any complementary options; there weren't even any in the little convenience store that they had in the lobby. Needless to say, we didn't kiss each other the next morning. Other than that, I highly recommend!
