the woman serving was very rude , she had an ugly smile and yellow blonde hair. my dad has brain issues & he didn't know how to use his costa card on the machine, she said "other way OTHER WAY . OTHER WAY !" my dad isn't a rude person & i find that absolutely disgusting of her. she didn't ask what size drinks we wanted and gave us all large. it's just cheeky!

Boxes of food left on the floor in front of the fridge, the woman serving me had blue gloves on but kept wiping her running nose on them which left her glove all wet, and she continued to serve food and drinks, the other girl working there just seems completely lost, doesn’t seem to take charge and looks confused. Very disorganised, needs management!!!! Pots left all over the floor to the side of the counter stand. Other member of staff was upstairs apparently. What’s the point in wearing gloves if you’re going cross contaminate also mixing the milk jugs, wasn’t a one for dairy free milk.

Overpriced coffee shop - go to blondes across road it’s better. Rude woman as pointed out by other reviews the one with the ‘teeth’ shouting at customers, very unprofessional. I feel sorry for the other staff that have to work with her. Won’t be back until they sort staff out.

Busy location means you need to choose your time. Really nice coffee & friendly staff. We had a good experience.

Went to the Costa in Cottingham and it is so much nicer than the one in Anlaby. Better atmosphere and the staff actually seem to care.

Very rude customers service. 1.5h before close most of tables are not available, toilets are close for customers because the floor is wet. Not recommended.

The staff in here are great!..very friendly..they remember your name..I love a hot chai latte and they are making it for me practically before I've got my coat off!. It seems to be a popular place for people to meet up as its always busy and buzzy...good atmosphere ..😊

It used to be great, now it's full of office workers taking up a whole table for hours only buying 1 drink. So you end up with nowhere to sit.

Asked for 2 coffees with cream and was given then in takeaway cups when i said we were staying in he told us the dish washer was broken and that's all we could have. Surely that should have been made clear when ordering

Great coffee shop, full of the best staff you could wish for, helpful and polite, lots of cakes and sandwiches to choose from

What's not to love? Bacon Brie and pickle sandwich. A smooth black Americano. Service with a smile, very polite and spotless.

Great service. We've been twice and the guy who served us the first time remembered us the second time.
