Firstly the road is bad but the destination is worth it. The waterfall is so powerful, if you’re phone isn’t water proof do not bring it with you to the falls. The water was cold for me πŸ₯Ά it’s a nice spot, there are persons selling snacks and drinks plus someone cooking soup by the riverside. The falls is free of charge.

Reggae Falls, though a long drive from St Mary it was quite the adventure. We drove through Portland. Most of the road is fix. It was quite easy to find with GPS. We got to the road right before you go to the sand mine with out realizing what was happening we paid the gentleman who say he is the own of the shop $500 per person. He says we have to pay him entrance fee before we can go to the falls . He took out money gave us a few instructions and send us on our way. We got to the water falls met Donnavan who accompanied us up to the water falls. We then realized we paid the first guy for nothing. So guys be careful not to pay someone if they dont go all the way with you and ensure you walk at the right areas and ensure you dont go into the deep end. The falls was wonderful, crystal clear water, cold but nice and good for swimming even if your a beginner. It area was clean. Remember to bring back your garage and do not use soap or shampoo, keep the environment healthy. This was definitely worth the drive, ita one of those places you need to visit a couple of times. I went on a Friday and it was nice and peaceful just a handful of people was there. It was perfect. πŸ’― recommended for the entire family.

Experience was amazing......the falls is beautiful. there's no cover charge however Antonio will claim he owns the place and will try to speak you into paying some money, just tell him no. otherwise, awesome experience. Temperature is just right, not too cold, like other waterfalls (although the time of year might dictate the temperature)

It was an amazing experience. It was raining and as such the waterfall was heavy and so was the water. Even though it was heavy I had so much fun. The water was cool and refreshing. The road is not too bad to get there and it was not crowded. You may also have a picnic on the river bank if you don't want to go up to the falls.

If u are into exploring new spot in Jamaica then this is a go...the road to the falls in not at all for the complainer...there are bad roads, you also may get lost so ask questions and to top it off you will need to drive across the lower part of the river to get a closer park. It is a wonderful experience for an explorer πŸ‘

Beware of slippery rocks and possibly sharp stones. The environment is very beautiful overall. The road to get there is not more of an off-road adventure, may not be compatible if your vehicle is not off-road compatible. Bring your own food where necessary as i saw no functioning restaurants at the falls. No great changing facility. It's an off the beaten path type of place which makes it unique to me.

Nice waterfalls! It's a long drive but it never disappoints. You are able to get jackfruit, sugarcane and jelly to buy at the river. Also a drinks. There's an entry fee , $100 for children and $300 for adults.

Absolutely fantastic...this was my 5th trip. But my last was in 2013. Don't attempt before end of June unless you drive an SUV. Extensive road works currently in progress.

This beauty fall is breath taken. You can sit or stand behind the fall and evjoy natural spring water coming out the rocks. The locals are friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a nice place to cool off from the sun, and I will definitely visit again.

The overall experience at the falls was magical. It looked and felt like a scene from a movie. Cool clean water and breathtaking falls. Majestic water carved rocks for sunbathing or simply drying your clothes. The entire family was mystified at the sheer magnificence of this Jamaican wonder. It took a while for us to realize or come to terms with the fact that we hadn't left the island. The entrance and journey to the actual falls was a disappointment. It was evident that the river bed was being removed (sand dredging and blasting). It truly is sad.... I'm here wondering if the falls will be accessible in five years. Maybe my grandchildren will never experience this river like I have. A fee was charged the the entrance which was being barred by a metal rod. The fee to me is ridiculous seeing that the river is unkempt and visitors are on their own. Letsguide believes that this treasure should be treated with greater respect. As a nation, preservation of these natural, scenic areas should be a priority.

Visited just to know where it was. Road is being repaired so traversing was a bit of a task. The falls was amazing though made the journey worth it totally. Would visit again after road works are done.

Amazing amazing location. River is breath taking. The only con is the drive to get there. Roads are bad but definitely worth the drive.

We had our cook out on the banks under a nog shade tree, and then we eat and walked up to the falls. It was good the water was clean, fresh and cold. The height of the water falls is mind blowing and the power water falling down gives your back a nice beat out. Overall it was really good. One thing the road driving from Kingston to St Thomas is in an awful state, but we see patches of work going on for the new highway.

The falls were beautiful and the water cool and nice. Getting to this location was incredibly arduous the "roads" are terrible I would have to rent a pickup next time...

I had a great time. We plan a surprise birthday party for my friend. The tour guide Dwayne went above and beyond. We can truly say we got vip treatment.
