Much more serene and natural environment than Kintampo Falls. Never crowded. Man at gate will ask 20GHS per person from foreigners and much less from Ghanaians. It’s a shame this beautiful place was never developed, you can see the remains of what could have been a wonderful guesthouse and retreat spot.

The Dutch built this as a trading post in 1667. It's now a guesthouse at beach front.

Fuller Falls Located on the Yoko River, at Yabraso which is 7km west of Kintampo town. The Fuller Falls gently flows from the east over a series of cascades forming rapids on the Yoko River (a tributary of the Black Volta) at Yabraso. The waterfalls provide a tourist with a wonderful, peaceful, and refreshing, plunge pool surrounded with seats made of concrete and rocks where one can relax quietly and have a delightful view of the falls.

Fuller falls felt like a hidden gem. Though about 20 mins from Kintampo falls it seems many don’t know about it’s existence. The sound of water flowing downstream was soothing to the ears. The sight of the falls was a beauty to behold.

The fort gives you the experience our forefathers have to go through in the hands of the Dutch. Though still a complete fort, it is now used as a settlement by indigenes of the town and a place of where people go to make merry.

A very exciting place to visit... Even more exhilarating than Kintampo Water falls. Road to site is very ok. Problem is that place seems abandoned and there is no guide. Ghana Tourist Authority needs to work on this and complete the abandoned summer hut like buildings there. This is just 15 minutes drive from Kintampo on a very good road, with the right packaging, it could sell more.

Very beautiful, and with all the nature surrounding it, very serene. I could easily spend all day here, it is one of the most beautiful nature spots I've found in Ghana so far! I am just very worried that according to the caretaker, the land has been bought by the tourist board, and that they will do the same as at Kintampo, and destroy all the forest. :(
