Very scenic place to visit, I love the fact that they have signage along the path to the falls reminding visitors not to litter.

Wli is very beautiful. The view, the greens are just amazing. The only critic I have is the bad road to these tourist sites.

The hike to the lower falls is really nice and easy, takes around 40-45 minutes. It's best to go early in the morning because there's a high chance you will be alone. We didn't take a guard which turned out to be a cool idea. You're not gonna get lost on the way and you'll have the whole place to yourself too. You can swim in the water as well. Very picturesque and beautiful place.

Challenging hikes, beautiful waterfalls! Make sure to wear hiking boots and bring water and snacks! The dry season didn’t leave the falls dry. The hike to the shorter upper falls has a few viewpoints. I’d recommend hiring a guide because ours spotted a snake, which we wouldn’t have known otherwise!

The lower fall wasn't as far from town as I'd expected. A heavy downpour the night before ensured we could not get too close to the fall as the pressure was dangerously high, creating a scaringly turbulent plungepool which flooded the entire area close to the foot of the fall and robbed us of the opportunity to take a dip in the water. It was however a pleasant experience just watching from a distance and catching a few shots. Also got to see some wild vegetative species and even came back home with a cocoa fruit as souvenir, courtesy of our tour guide, Sebastian.

Please, I am urging you to listen to the following advice because I am not joking when I say it is a matter of life and death. DO NOT go to the upper falls. It is DANGEROUS. I almost died today during the descent, when I grabbed onto a tree that wasn’t firmly fixed and ended up free falling down a steep slope and hitting everything left and right on my way down. The only thing that saved me from continuously falling and rolling down the side of the mountain to my death was that my leg got (painfully) lodged between a giant tree root. Another thing that saved my life was that there were no rocks around. Otherwise I would have hit my head and died. One of my friends also slipped and could have fallen off the side of the mountain himself. Sometimes the dirt path is so tiny and you still have to take a step, but one misstep and you fall off the mountain. Dead. They will swear up and down that it’s safe, but it’s NOT. Some guy slipped and died before because he hit his head. It took them 2 days to get his body off the mountain. Just go to the lower falls. It’s more beautiful I’ve heard and the swimming area is larger.

I went to the upper falls with colleagues and it was humbling. Don't try it if you are not fit. Afadjato got nothing on this one. Just go to the lower fall and enjoy the water.

The waterfalls were beautiful!!! We did the long tour they have at the office and it was okay, our tour guide wanted to get to the office as soon as possible so he was pushing as to go faster...We liked the place, but not so much the tour. The whole park is worth it and one of the most beautiful places in Ghana.

One of the best falls to visit in Ghana. You should come here if you love nature. Good service, great location and a long walk. Walk to the actual falls and back is from 45mins to 6 hours. Choose wisely

Beautiful place you discover after a lovely walk through the bush path. There's a number of benche nearby and the breeze from a waterfall is very refreshing. You can also go for a swim, the water is not very deep and surprisingly calm. Ideal trip fpr a hot day! Noteworthy: the place is relatively clean since you can find rubbish bins along the path which is not that common in Ghana.

Nice Place but they don't allow you to enter without a paid guide if you're a foreigner. If you've been there once you won't need a guide again The hiking tour to the upper falls is definetely worth the little extra guide cost and the 3 or 4hours for the roundtrip which you will spend steeply hiking But its not recommendable for anyone who is not into hiking/climbing

Magical experience for me. Wonderful guide and a pleansant and professional chairman, Mr Kakraba. Try and make it to the upper falls if u ever visit. I was held in awe. Dress easy and wear comfortable sneakers (not a slippery one). Will do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Wli falls is the best but the tour guilds there needs to let the tourist know the distance from the reception to the falls. It took close to 6hrs 37mins to the get the falls. Whilst it could have taken us less than 1hr 36mins to get to the upper and lower falls. In all, we climbed over 4 mountains before getting to the upper falls using the mountainous route. If you are not physically and medically fit, I will advise that you don't do the upper falls, but you can do the lower falls which could take you little over 20mins walk from the reception. To sum it up wli waterfalls is the best place to have fun, experience nature, and a place to take off stress. We love it and we will be back.

A place at home with nature. One can embrace the opportunity to hike to the mountain-top where the water springs from. The forest also presents camping opportunities.

A very serene place to just relax and enjoy nature. My experience there was wonderful and the locals were all very friendly. The entry pricing is affordable and there is a gift shop with a lot of Ghana-made souvenirs. There are also tour guides available especially when you visit as a group.

I was with a traveling team of young people touring the Volta Region and Wli was our second stop. We got to the tourist reception centre early morning and made the 40-minutes trek to the fall, passing over several wooden bridges. The waterfall is majestic, gushing out hundreds of gallons of water per second, spreading mist to distances over 70 metres. The water is clean and refreshing and there are fine stones at the bottom of the river. On the way to the fall, the tourist is encouraged with signs to drop litter in bins dotted along the route in order to keep the environs clean.

The place is neat and serene despite the numerous tourist The people are hospitable and equally fun to be with. Irrespective of the language barrier (English - French - Ewe), the people are able to communicate so well. I recommend this place to the populace and to investors who might want to do something along the Forest.

Lovely and beautiful place. Tickets were reasonable. Was quite a walk from the ticket area to the waterfall. It was raining on the day I visited and so the water was really tumultuous and we couldn’t swim which was such a bummer due to the long walk to the water. But I had a great time still with all the lessons from my guide and the views in the forest

entrance fee rather high for an almost unmaintained territory, at least on ground level. you get assigned a compulsory tour guide which is a young student, once you come back you find out they are not being paid. but of course you can’t leave them without a tip after they took you around for multiple hours. the kid went in flipflops that ripped on the way, only brought a 0.33l tampico whose bottle he threw in the forest and almost fell off the mountain. water prices at the shop with the centre are double the normal price. environment was good besides the pollution (away from the waterfall sites), office was friendly, but then the whole payment situation left a bad aftertaste edit: the office is not located with this pin, the more northern ones with lodges around are correct

The office gave us a good reception to the waterfall. The entry fee is very pocket friendly and affordable. A nice tour guide was allocated to us he gave good information about the waterfall on our way up and he was very helpful. The are nice little shops around to get some local african things.
