    ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS BREAKFAST..STRAIGHT FROM THE COOKER TO THE TABLE... BEAUTIFULLY COOKED AND PRESENTATION WAS BEAUTIFUL....THE STAFF ARE SO PLEASANT ..FRIENDLY..AND HELPFUL...THE LOVELY OPEN FIRE 🔥SHOUTS OUT...WELCOME. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU WANT ALL THE ABOVE....5 STAR 🌟DOESN'T SAY ENOUGH. I WOULD GIVE IT A 100 STARS... BRILLIANT SPOT TO EAT FOLKS 👌😋

    We visited after many years, when we lived briefly, in Kilcolgan. Back then, the food was very tasty. We were delighted to discover that the food is still as good. We had no reservations, but were easily accommodated and the staff were great. Lovely evening sitting out, lovely food.. life is good! We are looking forward to our next visit

    Great spot for a family gathering. Broad menu with lots of choice, friendly and helpful staff. Meals were exactly as ordered with plenty on the plates! The restaurant is airy with good spacing between tables. Overall, highly recommended!

    Very busy when I arrived on a November night at 7pm, so I understand why the staff seemed a bit harried and ignored me for a few minutes. I ordered at the bar and from then on a very positive experience. Good fish and chips, with crisp (not soggy) chips and a decent side salad. Big portion of fish made this value for money. Clearly a lively spot for locals. A great way to avoid traffic on the return to Galway from Cliffs of Mother.

    Recommended by our Airbnb host. Our first meal in this area of Ireland and the bar was set high. Can’t tell by the pic but my hubs got the steak. It was perfectly cooked. He loved the onion rings too. I got chicken kiev which was the special. I did t care for the sauce, but that’s personal taste. The chicken was tender and the mashed potatoes were thick and had a great flavor. Mine came with side salad which I also enjoyed. We split the apple crumble w custard sauce, don’t miss out on that. Service was excellent. Lovely, warm pub atmosphere. Definitely try this place.

    The dinner meals in here where all amazing for the 5 dinners we each had. The kids (3x Teenagers) said it was the best meal since being in The UK and Ireland over the last 3 weeks. We had to try desert even though we were full. Also the Guinness was a whole different level of tasted compared to Ballycastle that we just left.

    We had a family get together there lately, the service was fantastic, the menu had great variety and everything looked and tasted fabulous. We had a great time there and we are already planning to go back there for the next family event!!
