Though it looks dilapidated , Mitchell Hall has one of the best WiFi networks around Makerere University. It is located a few right behind Infectious Diseases Institute building.

It is a nice place to visit as you enjoy the serene environment at the historical university. From the extreme end to the university main gate, Mitchellex is strategically located. You will find small shops/ canteens for quick stuff and stationery. You can pay physical cash and you can as well conduct a Mobile money transaction at this place.

It is the oldest hall in the 2nd oldest University in Africa... It is spectacular with funny friendly residents.... I was there from 2014 to 2018... And what I can say is that, it was the most interesting place I've ever been in my life....CULTURE WITH DIGNITY

The place offers leisure space for the university students who reside in that hall. It has around 3 WiFi Hotspots making it a nice place to relax your mind and reply to your emails and finish your online assignments. It also hosts the annual Bazar for the University where by the market is brought to the University for the fresh students to sort themselves with gadgets and all accessories to use in the hall of residence!

It signifies the culture of the resident and the attached nonresident students of Mitchell hall at Makerere university. The place around the statue has enough space and tall trees that provide a large shade to give room for relaxation during leisure time for the students. In addition,the place around the statue has makair Wi-Fi hot-spot that's active,providing internet access to students.

Stationery beautiful statue of a rat that permanently distinguishes Mitchell from any other other hall, n it carries the description of members, of course m pretty sure you know how brave a rat is.....
