I like carrefour a lot. They have done a great job since entering Uganda and their stores are well stocked. Only thing I would say is that they don't have brand name electronics so I probably would never purchase a blender, microwave, fridge etc from there. In all I would recommend Carrefour especially the big one at Oasis Mall.

Good but I had to pack my stuff myself. I didn't feel like a boss lol. They have no free packing bags

It's a one stop shopping center. But i don't like the fact that they make you buy the packaging for all that you have bought. Meaning if you don't buy one u would carry all ur groceries bare with ur two hands

I liked the place and prices of things but I hated the stuff there mostly those at the counters I really didn't like how if u had few cheap things u had to carry them without anything to hold them this was really mean ok 😐😏 please provide for everyone.

Carrefour is a place where you'll get everything. i.e household items, grocery, fresh vegetable, fruits, electronics, mobile phone cooked food and so on..... Best for shopping

One thing I don't like about carrefour, they make you buy a bag to put in your items, I don't feel like it's fair but anyway I love the organization of the store, the items and the brands

I loved there services the price were very fine and it has all the stuff you need

Carrefour lugogo constantly messes with orders on glovo. Overcharging different from list price and inclusion of items that were never ordered. Receipts are not sent and image of receipt is always halved to cheat the customer. If I were the management - I would seriously look into this!

Man, this place is great. The floor lay out is SIMPLE to navigate. They've got this policy where you can book an item and pay in 90 days... I don't think any other store does this! Viva Carrefour!

Standard fare for supermarkets. Being the dominant brand in Kampala I fear they are becoming a bit indifferent to service rendered. Hot food counter service at Lugogo branch is painfully slow. The attendants need to be changed to one's that serve faster and more customer focused.

Lovely yummy healthy chapattis and snacks. I love the location and easy accessibility to quality supermarket, the variety wines and the fact that I can always get my black soap from here something I never get easily elsewhere

I love the shopping experience in here but I hate the queue. There are many counters but you find only two or three counters are working so it takes time before you're attended to on the counter. Hope management could work on that so that we don't stay longer on the queues! Thank you

Seems to be well stocked and 'fairly' priced goods but of low quality, obviously targeted on the masses. Products from China of course. It's OK for the market but Carrefour ought to set trends & standards NOT follow the mob. Service is good, many checkout points though mostly unmanned and there seemed to be more staff than shoppers. No urge to return anytime soon.

This is the old Shoprite place. They have tried to give it a fresher look but if you want the Carrefour feel then go to the one in Oasis Mall.

I went there looking for dry cat food. In all the other supermarkets I had failed to find the formula for kittens that could fit in my budget. I was delighted to find it here. Carrefour is now my supermarket of choice

Great location and great shopping experience. Affordable prices you can literally buy everything u might need. Its located where Shoprite Stores. I would recommend this store infact it has lower prices compared to other Carrefour stores.

Carrefour Lugogo Mall branch has a variety of products ranging from groceries, electronics, toiletries, a takeaway. The prices are very fair and most of the things they sell are quite affordable. Lugogo Mall has enough parking space, you don't need to get worried about your parking needs.

I had purchased some spices like cumin seeds, chili flakes, oregano etc from Carrefour lugogo mall few weeks before. The same were stored in air tight containers at home. Unfortunately when I opened them to use last week, they were fully infested with spice bugs which was shocking to me as I had stored them in air tight containers. On 28/01/2023 when I visited Carrefour lugogo mall, I got answers to all my doubts. When I observed closely, I could see spice bugs running all over the spices section. I have videos and images of the same with me. Upon discussions with the section supervisor, he apologized saying we are having this issue since few weeks now and that they are TRYING TO GET RID OF IT. I just couldn’t believe what I just heard. How can Carrefour be so negligent on the quality of food products they sell? Their prices are way too higher that the local shops / market. This means they are just fooling all the people shopping there trusting on the brand name. When the outlet manager was asked about this he says that the spices and vegetable section are outsourced and operated by a third party. But we as customers are shopping from Carrefour and billed by Carrefour. So Carrefour has absolutely no control over their third party suppliers, no policies for quality control, no health, safety and hygiene policies in place. The manager says that they check everything everyday but they don’t have anything in writing, no policies, no checklist nothing. When asked about pest control I was told that yes its done on a regular basis but they don’t even have proper evidence for it. In short there are no food safety measures in place, just looting customers with a brand name.

The place has a great deal of stock from kitchen equipment, clothes, groceries, electronics and a whole section of fresh and perishable foods. You can always walk in for the most comfortable corporate shopping in town. Enjoy!
