This is a beautiful wedding venue but, more importantly, the staff are incredible. They were wonderful throughout the run-up but on the day they were just perfect. They are experts at what they do and they run weddings like clockwork - incredibly smoothly with everything thought out. The nature of the venue means it can be very slightly difficult to navigate for wheelchair users but they accommodated me and my wheelchair at every stage, and on the day they were more than happy to help get me around. I you want a wedding in a beautiful building without any of the worry, then West Tower is for you!

What a lovely out of the way quaint venue with beautiful surrounding scenery. Food was excellent and the function's disco finished right on midnight. Staff very polite and professional. Everything clean, comfortable and quiet sleeping accom, nice shower room. Most enjoyable. ☺️

We enjoyed my Nephews wedding, the staff were awesome and attentive, however, this was a very expensive nights stay with the bed being so uncomfortable we didnt sleep well at all. The drinks were also very expensive. The view was amazing !

We got married at West Tower in May and the venue was amazing, all of the guests commented how nice it was. The staff were great right from the initial viewing with Zara through to the menu tasting and planning and Sarah along with the rest of the staff on the day of the wedding were outstanding and really helpful making everyone feel at ease. Rooms were clean and comfortable and everyone had a great time. We honestly couldn’t have wished to get married in a nicer location. Thanks to everyone at West Tower for making it such an amazing day. We would highly recommend.

Very lovely venue. Really enjoyed the rooms and the staff. Unfortunately, priced were extremely high for pints or spirits and it is so far away from anywhere that you have no option but to drink there.

Really peaceful and away from civilisation. beautiful countryside and the building is amazing. Great service and standards all staff well organized

Attended a wedding here at the weekend. Venue is lovely. We stayed overnight in The Stables. Very impressed with the accommodation. Food was excellent as was the customer service from all the staff.

I worked at West Tower as a wedding photographer and I would highly recommend this GORGEOUS venue to any future couples who are looking for the perfect place to get married. The grounds and the venue are beautiful with so many awesome spots for you to get your bridal and family portraits. The ballroom is stunning with lots of huge floor length windows letting in all that gorgeous natural light, so you and your guests can enjoy their meal whilst watching the sunset. On top of that the staff are so accommodating and friendly and will do everything in there power to make your day amazing. I can't wait to work here again.

Gorgeous place for a wedding. Scenery was lovely. The staff are very helpful. Only little bit I didn't like was the disability access. My poor parents and elderly who werent as good on the feet had to walk round the outside of the place to get to the downstairs reception room. The front of the house has a very steep little staep/ walkway and was bit worried about falling. But all in all very nice place

As wedding guests it was a great experience. Rooms clean and comfy, if a little small. Breakfast plentiful, maybe eggs as option, rather than scrambled. And 10.30 checkout a little early for us.

Lovely hotel. Stayed for our friends wedding and really enjoyed it. Also the breakfast was delicious.

The West Tower Team and the venue itself were AMAZING and we highly recommend this venue to any bride and groom. We had our wedding reception at West Tower in November 2022 and the location is beautiful. The whole West Tower team were very patient, kind and thorough throughout every conversation leading to our wedding and on the big day too. The quality of the wedding breakfast was excellent. Fantastic venue infact the best venue in the Northwest by far ! Why ? Because of the fanatic building the amazing food and the English country side settings. It's because of the the team that delivers exceptional service from Maria taking the booking and putting the pieces together. To on the day having the absolute total pleasure of the totally selfless beautiful human being Josie run the day. Legend Seriously we run a 5 star business and it can only be achieved and kept like that time and time again if the main person responsible is passionate professional caring and a cracking good laugh. Josie met all this and more and without her I feel our day would of been totally different. Thank you josie your are an absolute legend. Your the most organised time keeping caring compassionate person we have ever met. You calmed my nerves you supported us you stepped right in to help my family. My kids still talk about you now and my family and friends. You even shared tears of happiness and had a little boogie with us too you made our Day Josie were so glad to pick west tower because of you mostly i hope West Tower see who's the mama. Like us and all our guests did because words cannot express the total display of love care friendliness and warmth and concern as we did from you. Your on everything on the absolute ball ! Our 1st time we have been to a wedding so we had nothing to gauge a wedding off but all our guest have been to plenty and everyone hand on heart said they have been to no better ever before. I wish we could go back and do it all again! A few years back, I saw photos of a wedding and thought I could only dream of having a wedding at such a stunning venue, not knowing the name of it... little did I know when I started looking for venues that I would fall in love again with that exact venue and dreams would become a reality. From having a virtual tour during lockdown and booking West Tower, seeing it in person exceeded all expectations. The staff could not have done more for us. From start to end, they went above and beyond. No question is too big or too small and communication is brilliant. The food was incredible and the whole day was perfect. So many people commented on how fantastic the staff were and I will never forget how helpful and calming they were on our special day. Thank you so so much to all of the staff. The West Tower in Aughton is in a beautiful location with manicured grounds. A perfect location for a wedding. Food served was lovely. I have severe mobility issues and at different stages of the day, guests were ushered in and out of four rooms and these rooms were up and down flights of stairs. If you have issues with mobility or are a wheelchair user this is far from satisfactory. The small print tells you what they provide with regard to accessibility, but in reality it doesn't work. Please think twice if you have guests with disabilities. My visit and overnight stay was marred because I felt excluded I was unable to attend the evening reception or breakfast the next morning because of less than adequate accessibility.

West Tower, What can we say?! We cannot believe it is almost 4 years ago that we visited West Tower for the first time and met the fabulous Maria. As soon as we pulled up to the venue we fell in love instantly! The West Tower team are just amazing, there to answer email after email, phone call after phone call, dealing with multiple changes - some of them being last minute the week of our wedding day!! We cannot thank our wedding coordinator Maria for everything she has done for us and helping us plan the most magical day of our lives over the past 4 years! My husband and I had the most magical wedding day on 12th June, we used a lot of their recommended suppliers as we just didn’t know where to start 4 years ago and we’re so glad we chose Herve Photography, Violin Around, Steve Mitchell DJ, Vanilla Nova cakes just to name a few. The whole day ran smoothly with thanks to Josie and Sarah who again are just the most loveliest of people who couldn’t do enough for us from running and getting shoes, socks, fixing the train on my dress for photos, walking down the aisle etc. Josie even acted as celebrant for our ceremony as we legally wed in August 2021. The whole day was like the real thing, it was truly amazing! We loved every minute of our day at West Tower and didn’t want it to end 🤍 We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our big day! We cannot recommend West Tower enough and urge anyone contemplating getting married here to go and have a look and BOOK IT!! 👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️💒🤍

Best wedding venue I've ever been I couldn't fault the place. The staff were amazing. Without notice they changed my menu and looked for me during the day and night to see if I needed more food to meet my dietary needs. Absolutely amazing.

Absolutely love this location! Highly recommend it for wedding photographs. The staff is super friendly and will do their best to accommodate you. The outdoor space is gorgeous and you can decorate it to the style you want. Beautiful view of the countryside during golden hour!! You'll get great pictures in every corner of the venue.

Fantastic venue for a wedding or other function . The accommodation is lovely, the function room is great and food was really good. Top class and friendly service from the whole team. Great views for photos and to enjoy. Outside space is great. Excellent. Cooked buffet breakfast was scrumptious too.
