Ok, story time, gather around. Came to the shop with a request to resize two rings. Myself, I thought that the order was impossible, as the rings in question were extreme in details and adding material (as I obviously ordered them too small) would be impossible without ruining their original appearance. I was fully expecting to just be told that the resizing was impossible. First things first, everyone at the shop was INCREDIBLY helpful and attentive, taking the time to answer my every question and placating my fears. Over the process of (less than) a week the rings were resized! Not only that but the ABSOLUTE UNIT of an artist that worked on my order perfectly replicated the initial engravings on my rings so that they are indistinguishable from the originals. A heroic feat given that one of my rings went up by four sizes. Let me break that down. Four sizes up basically means forging a new ring. The amount of work and high-quality silver (SO MUCH SILVER) that went into this was ridiculous given the ring engravings and details. They even replicated the oxidation pattern that the original rings had. I don't know what higher praise to give to the shop reader, besides that I promise that I don't work here, nor do I know anyone who works here personally. Do not be fooled, this is no mere jewellery repair shop. Here there be monsters. But like, the good kind, that can work magic in metallurgy. Oh, rings for reference in the picture.

My engagement ring was a family heirloom and is a century old. Unfortunately, the band was worn down previously and snapped. This gave me a chance to update the shank to what I wanted and I was looking for a twist ring but to keep the original elements. Lukas did what we asked and I'm so pleased with my ring. It was also cleaned beautifully and I'm getting so many compliments on the shine of it. Really pleased and quick turnaround. This is the first ever custom piece I've ever had and I'm so happy :)

I took my wedding ring here after a disastrous resizing elsewhere, which had left my ring with none of the original pattern around the edges! Also, my eternity ring which was very thin/worn, after forty years! Hubby got his wedding ring remodelled, and a signet ring restored. Absolutely brilliant results on all of the above! All were Wonderfully restored! The staff are so helpful and well mannered, the whole experience was a delight!

Incredibily helpful and knowledgeable staff. I've come here to get my passed down wedding bands resized and engraved. They're soviet gold, but the smiths were able to recognise this with no issue. The price was reasonable and work done quickly. Not only that, but consequent visits for the purpose of getting adjustments was half the original waiting time (not to mention free of charge). Recommend this business for their customer service level. I was travelling and dropped one of my clip earrings and the clip became dislodged. Since i paid a bit for these earrings I found Edinburgh jewellery repairs and the kind staff member there was able to fix my earring on the spot. Thanks for the great service. Hard to find companies like this these days.

Took my wedding band and heirloom engagement rings here for resizing. I was very nervous about the engagement ring as it belonged to my husband's grandmother. The team were amazing. The rings were sized well and there were no issues.

So so lovely! My phone died because of the cold and I was meant to be meeting my friend but we hadn't arranged where. They were so kind and let me charge my phone and stay warm. I meant to buy something as they had some beautiful pieces but I was all frazzled about being late that I totally forgot. But I will definitely be coming back in the future! To be honest I didn't even know it was here but it is great as I have a few bits of jewellery that I would like repaired so I will be back!
