Dumplings meal with cauliflower and garlic. Service was fast and food was great. Fair price for this meal. We were full.

This was a favorite! We went back 2x on our trip just because we loved it! The bacon sauce on green beans was especially delicious. Great service, food, and atmosphere.

Went on the 5th floor of Kamppi to eat, came across Beijing8. I haven't tasted real Chinese dumplings, so I can't compare, I will just write my impression of the food. I took 12€ food option (9 chef's choice dumplings; side dish; sauce) +tea. I liked the tea :) As for food. The taste of steamed edamame (beens) was ok, but shells were unchewable (so I had to squeeze out each individual bean to be able to eat them). I wonder how other people eat them. Are you supposed to just swallow the shells? Dumplings had cut cabbage as a side dish: no sauce, no spices, just raw cut cabbage. I wasn't a fan of the dumplings' taste either: the fillings had big pieces of bell pepper and peanut. The sauce, which comes in a plastic container (probable factory-, and not house-made) had too much red chilli in it. They offer 4 sauce options: one of them according to a waiter was too spicy, one - sweet, containing plum, so I picked one of the two left options and ended up leaving most of the sauce uneaten. I wasn't very hungry, so the amount for 12€ was ok, but if you are hungry that 12€ dish won't probably fill you up.

Average. Some of the dumplings’ fillings were lucky tastewise, some — not so much. Raw cabbage as a side was quite questionable. Bao buns were a bit too dry. But sauces were great! I even bought some to take home. Overall, it felt like mass-produced food (which is not bad, but no something I was looking for). I would rather buy a pack of frozen dumplings from an Asian market and make it home myself. The outcome would be the same, just a lot cheaper.

Dumplings of chef coiche were not bad but it was not easy to distinguish flavours, nothing special but quite cheap and broccoli were truly great! Fast service, small price, do not expect anything special but it is quite good for a fast lunch.

A few years ago when I visited this place, I liked the food a lot. Strangely the food quality has gone down a lot. The dumplings' skin was not well-cooked, and the jasmine rice was quite dry... On a positive note, the service was friendly.

Ostimme medium menu set ja yksinkertaisesti huono. Ainoat hyvät dumplingit olivat pork beef dumplings. Muut hyvin tylsän makusia sekä maut olivat hyvin kummallisen makusia (dumplingien ainesosa valinnat). Glass noodles side dish raaka ja vetelä, ei minkäänlaista makua. Teet Mango ja Citrus sekä Elderflower ja ginger jollain tasolla hyviä mutta kaupastakin saa parempaa. Oli pettymys.

The service was pretty OK but the food was strange. Dumplings very nothing even close to authentic and the choices for fillings were very odd. The kimchi and chicken bao was nothing more than bao skin (open bao) and tons of roasted onion with a small slice of bad kimchi and a piece of chicken. Definitely choose noodles if asked because if you choose rice, they will just dump plain white rice on the side. The noodels have some sauce and veggies with them. One of the worst fusion restaurants I have been to, but if you are not looking for authentic dumplings or bao, maybe this is OK place.

Needed to grab a quick lunch on my way to a meeting and decided to finally try this place out. Really friendly and social staff assume nice, simple, satisfying food. Would definitely stop by here again to try the other side dishes and perhaps a larger order of dumplings. Pricing is good and I was happy to walk out of there feeling light yet satisfied.

Dumplings were ok, but not abundantly tasty. Tasted like procesed foods you find from the supermarket. Like the ravioli you think at the store, is gonna taste good and then you go home and cook them and they taste bland. This was the dumpling version of that. But it's a quick fix, gets your tummy filled. Light Beer tastes like soap, Tofu wasn't coocked and I guess raw and cold potato sallad is a thing in Chinese quisine. Not too appetising but sure seems healthy at least. If you like hot, spicy food, but not too savoury or complex in taste, this is it. In all fairnes, these were the cheaper dumplings that were on the menu. Maybe if you add extra euro or two you might get the fancy stuff for you. I might come and try 'em out later.

The food was average. Dumplings are not very tasty. The bao was okay. It's pretty expensive for the amount of food and for the taste.

The most basic dumplings imaginable, barely any taste at all. 5 e for 3 pieces is laughable pricing.

Great vegan option for lunch, staff are warm and chatty. I have become a regular, and would highly suggest this place as a catch up spot or a quick lunch location

Lovely place and the service was pretty quick. However, food we ordered lacked flavours. The dumplings were pretty bland and felt a bit soggy. They were quite expensive as well and didn’t feel like the standard matched the price.

Ordered a 'regular' dumpling meal (9 pieces) and my card declined on them. After walking out I realized I was still charged despite being shown my card was declined twice, so I walked back in and showed that I had purchased them afterall. I was told to sit back down and grab everything I got before.. but once I received my order, I got vegetarian dumplings instead of the regular ones.. PS. Oddly spicy 2 stars because at least I got to eat something.

Pretty good lunchplace, if you go for dumplings. The selection of dumplings is quite low, so might be worth upgrading the selection? Anyway, the service is friendly and fast.

terrible dumplings. you can tell this place was good ages ago and then they either sold out fast or the talent left for greener pastures. poor service and no product replenishment. save your €, there are much better dumpling places than Beijing 8.

Food tasted great! Although different flavors tasted very similar.. Staff was very friendly and service was fast. Staff has to be more careful with the orders though. We ordered steamed dumplings and got fried. We liked them anyway!

The dumplings cost about 1.5€ per dumpling, and it tasted like frozen dumpling. The sesame sauces was good though. But we wouldn't come again, at least not for dumplings.
