The one and only authentic Chinese / Sichuan restaurant in Helsinki. Cosy and fantastic food. Also some specialities that you can't find anywhere else. And those pork bumblings in chili sauce, oh my oh my. Possibly the best dish under 15 euro I've ever had.

Tried black pepper beef and eggplant with tofu, both were rich, strong taste and delicious. Dumpling is great too. Service is normal. Popular place during weekend lunch.

Of the 3 dishes we tried, only 1 was really good. Lowering the score to 1 as the food quality for 2 dishes were poor and caused sickness. Poor quality with expensive prices are unacceptable. 🔸 Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles with minced meat peanut sauce 👍👍👍👍 The soft egg noodles with creamy peanut sauce was flavourful and enjoyable, though there was little minced meat. 🔸 Garlic ribs 👎 Pretty looking dish but was a plate of poor quality, overcooked pork ribs over-seasoned with raw garlic. This expensive dish was a big let down. It was impossible to digest the unfresh meat and overpowering raw garlic causing me to throw up after the meal. 🔸 Eggplants in Sichuan sauce 👍👍 Sourish, oily dish of eggplants and tofu. Not much to taste.

Udon noodles with shrimp was terrific. Not spicy at all, but luckily they have some very nice chilli sauce that you can add to your plate.

Dumplings were tasty. Fried noodles (with tofu) tasted like fried noodles from any other Chinese restaurant. One big table had a random tablecloth while others did not. Decor was modest.

Wow We had Chinese food all over the world from Tokyo to San francisco!! The quality here is amazing and suoer fresh, the dumplings are hand made and so tasty. Many vegan options to choose from, fast service with a smile! We will be back!

Absolutely the best Shanghai tacos in Helsinki. Very fresh and worth all the waiting in the world. Lots of flavours 💯! Dumplings are also always a good idea here, steamed and fried, both are very good- I have tried the most of them. Pork bao is also the best in Finland I would say. Over all a very high recommendation, I d say if you haven’t tried, you are missing out! Also the staff is very friendly ✨ good experience as always. Just prepare to wait a bit- it’s all fresh and worth it. Also- affordable❤️

#not cool This restaurant has no connection with Mei Lin restaurant, which is another good Asian restaurant in the town. This restaurant sells dumplings… more like frozen ones I wanna cry. And it’s not a Chinese restaurant……..

- incoherently expensive for a Chinese restaurant; - not that much of variety; - our table was sticky, clearly not well cleaned for some time; - my partner's order took soo long to arrive (it was sent to the wrong table) that I'd had waited for his to start eating, mine would be cold; - when his order came we were surprised that 1/3 of the dish was pure red chili (n.20); All this on my birthday, so, not exactly a nice memory of that restaurant :(

We had the Dumplings in Chili Sauce, Crispy Pig Intestines and the Shredded pork fried sweet bean paste with thin pancake. The staff was very friendly, and the service was very quick! I loved the dumplings, which were (as expected) spicy. Also the Crispy Pig Intestines were very tasty! I never had those before, and combined with the spicy peppers this was a meal I will return for in the future. Overall a great experience.

One of the highlights was the "Pork Fried Dumplings" which were exceptional. They had a delicious filling. The accompanying sweet soy sauce elevated their flavor even more. Another dish we enjoyed was the "Bok Choy," which was cooked good, maintaining its crispness and natural flavor. The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was attentive. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to enjoy more of their delectable offerings.

We ordered the seafood hotpot and it was delicious. The portion is also pretty generous. The vibe is not our favorite but still okay.

I ordered the pork fried dumplings, chicken steamed dumplings and the pork bao buns. I really enjoyed the dumplings — well made, lovely taste. The bao was nice as well:)

Probably the best Chinese I’ve had in Finland. Mapo tofu could have had a bit more sechuan pepper, and perhaps a touch more chili, so if you are accustomed to more radiant levels of heat, make sure to ask, and I’m sure they’ll bow your head off. The other tofu dish was actually sweet and sour, and not just sweet and salty as they are pretty much everywhere else. I’m not going to use the word genuine here, but it has to be closest to genuine I’ve had in the entire country. Service really friendly and very fast.

I had expected more from the food, as I love dimsums and dumplings and have tried many amazing Chinese restaurants in Asia. The shrimp dimsums made me feel like they’re pre-made, not homemade. Also, the sauce wasn’t that authentic. So it’s an okay place to visit, but not in the top tier.

Foods are so yummy. The waiters are very nice. The place is neat and clean. very comfy place.

Most authentic Szechuan restaurant I’ve found in Helsinki so far! Portions are large, perfect for sharing, the traditional dishes leave a numbing feeling on your lips which means they’re doing it right. We ordered the pork dumplings in chilli oil (the sauce was good enough to drink), mapo tofu (lovely texture, could be spicier for my taste but will suit a Finnish palette), tofu and broccoli and the highlight were the green beans (try this cause it was truly delicious, slightly crispy, savoury, perfectly umami). The staff was very quick and efficient, no nonsense which is great. The food also came out quickly, no unnecessary waiting! I visited with two friends, no reservation, on a Saturday for lunch and we managed to get a table, though the place did fill up quick. I recommend this place and will be back for those dumplings and green beans!

Visited the place today for quick dinner. The service staff was helpful with giving us the better seats.Its a busy place with quick turnover. Lots of delievry orders were also going. The Food came quickly. As per Finnish standard i would say food was decent. The prices are also very copeptetive. Our bill was around 70 € for 3 persons a la carte. Looking at Finnish food culture i would reccommend this place.

Lovely spot for lunch. All lunches are same price 12.5 euros and it includes the dish, salad, water and tea or coffee. Portions are big, so filling and tasty.

The food is good, the price is fair as well. Lots of choices. It's real China food. But I went in as there's a photo of the dimsum in front of the restaurant but they are actually not doing it anymore. The service can be better with the manner that the waiter allocated you the table.

Sichuan spicy and oily, in a good way if you can take it. Authentic experience. While the prices may appear high, they are justified considering the generous portion sizes provided.

The best dumplings. There is no comparison. I lived in Helsinki for 3 years, and in my last week there, I went to Mei Lin 4 times. This is the first place I will go when I come back.

Nice Chinese restaurant close to everything. Don't walk by too fast, you might miss it! The udon noodles were wonderful. The fried rice was a tad bland, and odd to me with corn, it was still good tho. The waiters were very kind, I love that they bring a pitch of water for the table free of charge.

Nice dumplings and chilli sauce.. Staff was nice and friendly. Just a bit disappointed with veg spring rolls.. it tasted like store bought with excess fired oil.

Located not far from Kamppi and Scandic Simonkenttä in the central parts of Helsinki you will find this Asian place where many native diners are dining. This is a proper quality sign right when I walked into the restaurant. The waiter greeted me at the door and showed me a table for one. Served me water and a menu, in Finish and English. I went for the dumplings in chilli soup. The dumplings were very tasty as well as the soup. The restaurant offers take-away as well as delivery service (via partners).

Best dumplings in town, and excellent customer service. High attention to detail. Had a misunderstanding and was promptly fixed by staff. Strongly recommended. If you’re looking for dumplings in Helsinki, look no further!
