It's down stairs in a very nice Irish pub . The whole pub is packed with music things from the past .poster, guitars and picters real original stuff .It's quite a shock. It not like anything I have ever been in .it not a stuffy museum but its packed with music history. It really is outstanding . We where super lucky as we started to talk to the staff and ask questions, who is that etc etc etc and then where offered by the manager to see the basement. Wow ha ha ha .if you think upstairs is brill there is another superb shock in store . Down stairs is like a very small club sort of cavern style like as in Beatles ( I live in liverpool) Again it's even more amazing than upstairs ha ha .Its jam packed with real musical history ,a bar and a stage for the acts. Seats like in a cinamer and some rows like in a church plus a standing area next to the bar . There is not an official tour as this is a working pub which hosts live music which is bookable on line using there facebook page which is barnoldswick music & arts centre We where just dead lucky that one of the staff made some time to show us round but there is as I say. facebook page. I looked at there facebook page and it dose give a clue as to what's in store and alot of infow on gigs coming up but it has to be seen to be believed .They simple for me could not make an improvement to the place. We will return for sure to this hiden gem and hats off to the owner and the manager of the place. If I could score this place more than a 10 I would . Ps I should have took more picters but I was so interested in what I was being told about the history that I could off kicked myself when I came out ummm ha .cheers Helen Steven and Martin Bourke

First time attending there. What a fantastic venue. It’s small but full of charm. All the staff are great. One of our trio of travellers has a serious illness and we asked if they could save us seats together in case we got there late and this was kindly done. I hope to go back there soon. Wonderful gig.

Oh my God, what a fantastic group The Northern Soul Train, Tuesday13th December. We danced all of the night. Such an impressive sound & lead singer, can't wait to see them again in such a wonderful venue.

A really lovely find for me as they have live music every week, it’s a small area downstairs (no lift) but you are really close to the artist, recently I’ve seen Eric Bell (ex Thin Lizzy) and Bev Bevan in photographs (ex ELO) with his band Quill, a very talented band and looking forward to seeing them again next year too.

Attended a Big Country gig there Oct. 2018..... and loved the welcome, the decor and the intimate downstairs. Glad to say that we're visiting again tomorrow to see 'em again.

The best kept secret in Lancashire. This place is a gem and attracts some of the greatest artists from around the world to play in an intimate atmosphere. It seats around 40 with some standing places too. But, keep it quiet, we don't want everyone to know about it.
