Stayed 2 nights in May and felt very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, the omlettes simply wonderful. We were looked after very nicely and received great tips for excursions and pubs. We are really looking forward to seeing you again.

Very nice hosts : made our stay perfect! Stayed overnight on way to Orkney. Hearty breakfast in the morning with omelette or sausages. Good comfy beds. Nice clean bathrooms. Coffee packets in the room to get you going in the morning!

We spent a wonderful night here. Super clean, comfortable, Homely room that had everything you could possibly need. The Hosts were so welcoming and friendly, we felt that nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was just divine and the best square sausage that we've had in years. The choices for breakfast in the help yourself and made to order catered to everyone's tastes. Cooked beautifully. The location was close to Gills bay and took no time at all to get an early ferry. We loved it and would def be back if we're up this way again.

Fantastic place with exceptional hosts. Rooms are clean, tidy and nice. Locations perfect for outdoor pursuits. Even saw a pod of Orca whales today!!! Will definately be back

From the moment I arrived I could not have felt more welcome. The hosts were fantastic, the room modern, airy and had good views. The directions were spot on I used the my 3 words app. The breakfast in the morning also top notch. THIS is how to run a b&b! If you are looking for somewhere to stay don't hesitate to choose here.

Wonderful location in the north of the Highlands, near John o' Groats and along the North Coast 500. The room was spacious, confortable, with great attention to detail and a stunning view on the sea. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options and served with a smile by the two owners. Katie and Owain were extremely kind and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

Stayed here back in March 2022 on a Kent to John O'Groats trip and thought Alba Sunrise was one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in - great accommodation and hosts with ample parking and although it was a very windy night - we did not really notice it in the room. Breakfast was excellent.

I had a perfect stay after completing the Land’s End to John O’Groats bicycle route. The location couldn’t be better - close enough (and flat enough!) to the end of the route to not feel like a drag but also meaning you only have a 40 minute cycle to Wick to get the train home the next day. The room was very comfortable and cozy and the hosts interesting and friendly. Breakfast was delicious in a room looking out to the ocean. I couldn’t fault my stay.
