Nice place for dinner. Fish Milanese was delicious. Prawn chilly was good. Spinach and cheese momo was over cooked. Very bland taste. We wanted to try Risotto but were told that it's out of stock. Imported beers not available. Wouldn't it be nice to change the menu if they don't keep it in stock? Mixed experience.

Definitely an eatery you shouldn't miss coming to. Loved the food and ambience here. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Momo and chicken chilly were top notch whereas Fish and chips were a little greasy and not that great. Hospitality was great. Friendly and warm staffs. Peaceful location amidst the busy Jhamel area.

A hidden gem in Jhamsikhel! Very quiet and homely ambiance. Also loved the food here, very freshly made and well plated. We had typical Nepali choices-Momos, fried chicken and an Alfredo pasta and it was delectable!

Must try the spinach cheese veg momos as they are superb!!!!! The lighting is a bit dull and also the aroma around is very ayurvedic. Otherwise the service and food is amazing! We also saw rat and spiders in the restaurant right below our table! So a little bit of cleanliness and closure of Open spaces would help.

They weren't kidding when they said this place was a little on the pricier side, but it does feel like a cozy place to be at and does try to provide a fine dining experience. The waiters are absolutely polite and friendly. The food though is hit or miss. It doesn't taste bad but it's pretty much towards the average tasting side. The chicken soup momo was better than average but I've had better at cheaper price. The soup itself was pretty bland and we were not provided with any spices or flavors to add to the soup. The chicken fingers though...amazing. It's rather unfortunate that the honey (mustard?) dip that comes alongside doesn't go well with the chicken fingers.

Lovely place, the best place for food it is in the expensive side but it's very worth it .I would say one of the, if not the best place to have cutlet and spaghetti. Definitely a must try place. Make time to try it you will see what I mean amazing food. Ps: try the momos its amazing someone told me I didn't get to try it tho next time sure .

We had fish curry and chicken choyela. The restaurant used a frozen pangasius, which ruined the taste and the vibe. It would have been a good dish if they used local fish. On the other hand, chicken choyela was the best we have had in Nepal. It had a distinct char grill taste, which was quite unique. The restaurant atmosphere was very pleasant with outdoor seating areas, perhaps one of the best in Jamshikel.

Lhakpa's chulo, nestled in a small Jhamsikhel alley, is a hidden gem. The cosy ambience adds charm, making it one of the best kept secrets. The homely and delicious food, especially the cheese spinach Momo and home fries, left a lasting impression. While the prices are on the higher side, the exceptional quality justifies the cost. And, Lhakpa's Chulo; take a bow for the fries paired with your hot sauce cause undoubtedly, the best I have had in my life!🤤

I enjoy spending quiet time whether for leisure or business at Lhakpa's. The food is savory. Try out the green momo when you do drop here.

My go-to place for a quiet dinner with the missus. Great ambience and consistently good food. Their lasagna and pasta selection is great. The wings platter and garlic prawn 🍤 is also delicious.

Cosy place tucked away between St Mary's and the zoo. Nice and tidy place good for lunch or dinner. Food tastes delicious. Service is satisfactory. Would recommend all of you to check out.

Went there since it was labeled as “Tibetan restaurant “ but nothing on the menu was Tibetan. Menu was extremely disappointing and the servers are caught up in their own gossip. I had to call the servers to take my order after like 15-20 mins of looking at menu. Food was nothing extra ordinary. If you are looking for a potential Tibetan food spot, better go somewhere else cause this restaurant is not serving any Tibetan dish (only momos that too was mediocre) Please save your own time and money and go to a real authentic Tibetan place.
