Recommended to us by the tasting guide at Lakes Folly, this lives up to its status as the Hunter Tasting Experience of the Year. Superb setting at the foot of a small mountain, rolling acres with lots of amazing sculptures, there is a mix of indoor and outdoor tasting options. It’s all about the Chardonnay, of which all four options are excellent. The patient knowledgeable and attentive staff take you through with decent serves in wonderful glassware. The cheese platter is to die for. This is a place to come and taste and stay for a while.

Had a lovely visit and Adriana gave us a great overview of the grounds, history, and of course the wines. She made us feel right at home and we had such a nice chat about wine, the local area, and a few things aside. We left with big smiles and a delicious bottle of wine. We'll definitely be back if and when we're next passing.

We had a wine tasting of their excellent chardonnays, and really enjoyed the experience. The staff member knew his wine, and the setting was lovely, with a great view. We were even given some complimentary olives to enjoy with the tasting. Well worth the short drive from Pokolbin!

My favourite winery and on site accommodation was fabulous. We loved the Art Gallery and Sculpture walk. The cellar door suited us beautifully for a glass of Winmark Chardonnay and cheeseboard. Will definitely go back soon. Thank you to the most hospitable host “Karin” who was so accommodating. A truly personable experience.

Four years after our last visit to Winmark Wines, we returned for a breakaway over Easter. All new to us was the Cellar Door, Art Gallery, and the Sculpture Walk. The property is looking magnificent and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Karin and her team treated us like royalty and I can highly recommend spoiling yourself with a breakaway at Winmark Wines. Enjoying our time both on the property relaxing and also being out and about in the region taking in some wine tasting and site seeing, we will be back soon! We left with two cases of their sublime Chardonnay, and a membership to the wine club! We look forward to enjoying our delivery soon. Thanks Winmark Wines.

Our wine tasting was guided by Tony, who was an absolute delight. He was so knowledgeable about all the Chardonnays during our tasting (they were all delicious) and such a credit to Winmark wines! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend a wine tasting here for sure.

Must visit stop in Broke Fordwich. Lovely afternoon spent tasting wine, eating cheese and escaping to nature. The sculpture walk was fantastic and a real point of difference, the kangaroos and wallabies became apart of the art. Tony at the cellar door was incredibly kind and insightful, told a wonderful overview of the history of the winery and the area. Enjoyed it so much that we signed up as members and left with a dozen bottles of wine, definitely will be back. Thanks Tony for making our Sunday afternoon one to remember.
