The location is far from the everything. The hotel is more like a motel from the stench of cigarettes looming in the air. The sheets were dirty and I had to request for fresh ones. The lock on the door to the so called "balcony", but is more like a sketchy wooden pathway to the parking lot, was broken so they used a metal bar to keep it locked. There were loud guests right beside me that woke me up. The towel bar that held up all of my towels was semi broken so it held it up crookedly. They put a $100 hold on my credit card that still hasn't been released. The walk from the front door to my room is so far and winding that it took about 2 lefts, up the stairs, and another left to get to my room. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because they changed my sheets and I appreciated that.

Absolute garbage.. booked a last minute room for my daughter and myself, and will never book with a Howard Johnson again. Just on our way to our room, there was graffiti in the hallways, and garbage on the floors. The room hasn't been cleaned for many days, as I found the receipt from the last occupant laying next to the garbage can. There was black mold and grime around the bathtub, what appeared to be bloodstains on the sheeta, large holes in the walls, screws left from where someone removed a painting, and the wallpaper was peeling. The pool area was dimly lit, and the 'salt water pool' was foaming with a slimy residue on the walls just above the water level. The hot tub was completely empty, and there was black mold on the inside of the cover. In the morning, my daughter even refused to eat anything from the 'complimentary' breakfast, because the whole area was disgusting. There was something splattered up the wall behind the toaster, and the area smelled like BO and mildew.... I've stayed in many low budget accommodations around the world, but this one beat them all

Worse hotel ever read the other Howard Johnson hotel listing at this same location. Pimps hookers drinking and drugs are all at this place

This hotel needs major, major upgrades. The lobby is dark, and uninviting, the hallways are musty, the breakfast is basic store bought muffins, cereal and packaged waffles. The rooms are very dated, not enough outlets, peeling wallpaper, badly glued back together, shower is either scalding hot or freezing cold. And the bathrooms are badly designed and maintained. On the plus side the bed was comfortable, there was a fridge and microwave, the air conditioning unit worked well even though it was hard to regulate. The staff were quick and efficient in cleaning the room and bathroom. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it to anyone? No.

The hotel was horrible, dirty and falling apart. We were afraid our ceiling was going to fall in on us. We were put right by the indoor pool and kids started screaming at 7am in the pool. Breakfast was basically just different breads. TV was old and losing it coloured and it was very dark. Wifi kept shutting down. Bathroom was grungy and carpets all stained. $135.00 for the night was ridiculous for the room. Blankets were too small for 2 people in the bed.DO NOT BOOK

Location was awful many drugged out people hanging around outside. The hotel inside is very dated and needs to be renovated. The pool was the only good thing. Bathroom and room was old and dirty. The sheets and bedding had holes in them. Breakfast was terrible only bagels, cereal, donuts. All the food for breakfast was the stuff you buy at no frills for 99 cents.

Rooms and hotel very old and dated. Our room fridge was broken and there was mold in bathroom. Carpets are old. Free breakfast was inadequate and they ran out of food. Hot tub was not working. Was told not working for a while. This place needs renovations. We feel this place was over priced! Location was convenient to go to Chicopee tube park and the pool was great and Staff were friendly but we would never stay here again. At least there was no bed bugs!

Could use with a good update. The pool was the nicest part. My bed wasn't really comfy. The shower didn't work at first but they came up to fix it right away. It just didn't look clean in the hallway like stains on the carpet and paint drops (I hope it was paint) on the railings. Food cartons were left on the stairs in the side entrance and were clearly bad. I would not stay here again

The room was dirty and not cleaned properly. We found food and toys under the bed. There was blood stained on the curtain to the walk out patio. The advertised hot tub was broken. The pool is salt water and the temperature was terrific. The hotel is in serious need of updating and repairs.

Hotel hallways all smelt like weed, beer, and cigarettes. My room had an extremely strong odor of cigarettes which was disgusting. The bathtub was dirty, and the fan was hanging from the ceiling. There was a dime bag beside the door to our room. Though nothing else looked visually dirty, the entire place just seemed unkept. Even the couches in the waiting room were ripped. I feel it's also worth mentioning that our room was supposed to be smoke free.

Bathroom was pretty gross. Free breakfast was sad, the pool was about the only nice part there. The hot tub was not running due to "Heath and safety". The beds were pretty uncomfortable. The room was big. Wouldn't stay here again. Or recommend it to anyone..
