    As a former employee of this McDonald’s I have to say, the quality of food, the service and every single part of the McDonald’s brand core values are disgraced by this store. For months, my friends and I joke about how awful this place is, but as it’s our only option of delivery of fast food we continue to get it. This being said, I’ve always had such a disrespectful, disappointing time. I’ve witnessed managers talk trash about customers while they are audible. My food hasn’t been correct. The entire store refuses to put pickles and onions on the burgers, which I know for a fact violates procedure. They refuse menu items such as frappes and ice cream randomly. My friend went through the drive through in the span of two minutes. On the first visit they said they couldn’t do frappes, not even a minute later, on the second visit, they said they could. How can a corperate owned McDonald’s allow customers to be denied items like this is awful. The worst part is that it seems like the managers have given up on the staff. No wonder attitudes are disgusting and customer service skills aren’t being trained, the ones training have no interest in their job, they don’t care. Today I ordered a delivery, the meal was ten nuggets and a double quart pounder meal with a frozen flavour. This is what I received. -Nuggets -chips -a cup of ice -no burger I was served a literal cup of melted ice. I will attach photos. This is disgusting. No replacement attempt was made, no opportunity to change. I understand when the machine isn’t working, but to serve a paying customer literal ice makes this brand look awful. You have my number, I ordered through menu log, why wouldn’t you call me and attempt to fix it. On the topic of calling, after I received this, I called the store four times only to be met with the phone ringing out. I use to work here, I know how busy it gets, but I also know when managers are ignoring the phone. I wish corperate would do anything about this sinking ship of a store. Absolutely disgusting.

    I entered Cessnock McDonald’s at 7:20 to the drive through with my online order. They couldn’t find my order, even with the help of a manager after several attempts. Bear in mind I have done multiple online orders in the past, I had also tried to help them several times by showing the app but they just ignored me. The staff were also unprofessional with their hair out, no uniform, and completely unfriendly. I had only ordered 2 burgers and a wrap, but everything that came was cold and be the wrap itself was inedible. I wont be back again. Update: Restaurant manager was nice in contacting us. Appreciate the effort and gesture but still upsetting.

    Ordered a quarter pounder at the drive through. Only one car in front of me, which had already ordered. Staff were faffing about a bit, which is fine, it's a quiet night, they should have fun when they can. Drove 25 minutes home minutes home to find my burger was missing it's top bun. Tried to call the number provided three times to get a refund, rang out every time. I just wanted an easy, subpar burger after a long day at work, but apparently they couldn't even manage that.

    hey folks!! this maccas is the place to go. they took the term FAST food literally, i ordered and in under a minute i got my food. they gave me free fries because they messed up my order 😝😝 the place is so clean that i can literally lick the floor and i won’t get sick and the staff are very nice would defo recco 🤙🏻 all my friends and i loved it it’s such a slay 💋

    Most shocking bad McDonalds I've ever ordered from! Here are some issues I had: - Didn't get fries in bag when I ordered 2 meals - Medium frozen Coke was filled up only half way - Strawberry thick shake was literally just strawberry milk - Didn't get any sauce in our bag after ordering nuggets Probably never ordering from here again!

    Wont let me give zero stars, but its a ZERO. I Ordered 2 cheese burgers and medium fries, told him im happy to park in the bay and wait for fresh hot fries as i always get served cold soggy awful fries. Got home and wondered why my bag was dripping water on my car seat. Opened the bag to find 2 wet burgers, and 2 or 3 half melted ice cubes sitting in the fries. Threw the lot in the wizzbin. I wont ever be caught dead eating this garbage made by a bunch of junkies and a manager on duty who clearly doesnt care what the workers get up to. This is beyond disgusting service.

    Absolutely disgusting. Waited in drive through for over 25 minutes. They left 2 burgers off our order. Tried to call them 45 times after this for 1.5 hours about the missing items and was faced with engaged signal every time (I'msurethey take it off the hook). Meanwhile the teenager on the register had her dirty boots up on the register whilst we went through. When I said to her about professional standards she laughed at me. Where is management???

    Literally one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The place is run by a bunch of teenagers that lack professionalism and basic customer service skills. Drive through is terrible and order has been wrong/items forgotten numerous times, won't be going back any time soon

    Went through Cessnock Maccas today and kept driving ordered a family box and an extra Big Mac … never received the extra Big Mac and all burgers in the box were cold and I don’t mean a bit cool I mean cold . Some burgers had no Big Mac sauce and one had enough on for all three . Coke tasted flat and yes I know ice does this but it tasted extra watery. Didn’t have time to go back get extra burger so one of us went without. Won’t be going there EVER again

    Absolutely terrible customer service. Walked in the restaurant and stood their to witness the manager going off at the young staff members then telling the staff to kick everyone out of the store as they were not serving face to face and only doing drive through. There was about 20 other people behind myself all so confused on why no one was allowed in the store. Lack of communication to the public. We left and went to Kurri who was more then accommodating to eat in. Cessnock Macca's really needs to pick their game up.

    Can’t offer no stars for this Cessnock store. The service was absolutely shocking on all fronts. No customer service and the sundaes we ordered took 10 mins and when they arrived, 3/4 full of ice cream and a tiny drizzle of topping. When we asked for them to be fixed, the cups came back messy, and no serviettes to clean them up. The staff were rude and were basically throwing other orders on the bench with no care. Missing other people’s items from what we observed. Worst McDonald’s experience EVER.

    I requested them to warm my 11 month's old baby's milk for 10 sec at microweb. They were quite but their manager "Nathan" refused that. My baby was hungry and crying but he didnt bother. Probably as I m not white,they did tht to me

    Avoid on Saturday and Sunday. Really concerned that covid restrictions are not being enforced. Two out of 8 ordering stations out of order, groups of people waiting not adhering to required spacing. Small waiting area. Noisy. Food ordinary - couldn’t get order right. Disappointed.

    Used the drive through today for a coffee and meal deal. Waited at the speaker to place an order, waited waited and waited. After a gentle horn toot from the vehicle behind us we moved forward to the payment window. What fun two lanes into one once again waiting but still no order. At this stage the wife gets out and enters the restraunt to place our order, still waiting, finally get to the window and the cashier wants us to pay for someone else. I vent my frustration at McDonald being the worst restraunt and do apologise for cursing in my defence I was a little peeved. Could have picked up an order from the next window but unlike McDonald I do care about my fellow man. From here I wait for my wife to return with our order, all I wanted was a cup of coffee, hot coffee actually and this was far from hot. Milk for coffee is usually heated to 65°C my milk would have been around 40 to 45°C so after our trip being disrupted for 20 minutes not a happy customer. Yes the wife did enjoyed her cheese burger and frappe.

    Highly recommend going elsewhere. Chips are always half full, burgers are always missing half their ingredients. Visited last week for a breakfast treat. Sat down with a bacon and egg mcmuffin. Unwrapped it to find no egg. Returned to the counter to enquire about missing egg. Poor server asked the kitchen to make another and was told they'd been out of eggs for most of the morning. It was 9am. All those unsuspecting people ordering muffins with egg and hadn't been told, like us, would've been pretty annoyed.

    The worker with the long hair & a beanie went to the toilet did a dump and didn’t wash his hands. My husband told him to wash his hands, and he said I’m on my break! Like does that made a difference. We saw him back in the kitchen 10min later! Disgusting

    Extremely poor hygiene standards: Staff #1 started making my toastie without gloves and facemask (store manager confirmed that wearing both was current store policy while handling food). Once he saw me standing right near the McCafe counter, he went and wore gloves and mask after half my order was made. Staff#1 handed a toastie cutter to staff#2 but it fell on the floor, staff#1 then asked #2 to wash the cutter. I had stepped away from the counter for a minute to throw rubbish but when I returned and asked #2 if she washed the cutter she said this was a second cutter and not the one that fell. When I asked her to show me the one that fell down, she started mumbling something and then finally admitted to using a cutter that fell on the floor to cut my sandwich. P.S. she wasn't wearing gloves either. All counters and some tables were covered in ketchup, lettuce and fingerprint smudges. So much for Covid related frequent wipedowns and cleaning. Not coming here again.

    Honestly, i dont get all the 3 to 4 star reveiws honestly i have never gotten what i ordered. Every burger i have gotten as well as nuggets have never been cooked properly and always cold. They always give me the wrong milk in my coffees, i am very lactose intolorent and also dont have a gorebladder and every time without fail they always give me full cream. I have always ended up in hospital everytime i attempt to eat here!! Few times for food poisoning. my alergies are affected to. I havent ordered a coffee again due to this proplem. And honestly im disgusted in their poor hygeine and poor cleaning. LOW STAFF IS NO EXCUSE!!!!! Never returning again. Not even for thier drinks. I rather go to KFC!!

    Never have I ever had a McFlurry so good in my life the flavours just combine like you would never believe. The combo is: oreo McFlurry with chocolate ice-cream, 2 Cadbury flakes, m&m topping, 2extra crushed Oreo, hot fudge, caramel and the most important piece the 2 strawberry topping. I am recovering Rehab from an addiction to the combination

    3 stars ..lol ! The absolute worse Branch I have ever encountered!! Worse than Cooma and that speaks volumes. Staff not trained in customer service and very rarely say thank you.. 75% of our orders would have errors do make sure u check ! If for any reason you get asked to park up make sure they don't forget you as they have made us waiting 20 mins to finally admit they forgot our order. With current world dilemma wouldn't you think alarm bells would ring when customers leave 100's of complaints in regards to hygiene? That's right not good for the shareholders! Ok, that's it..

    Possibly the worst Mcdonald's in NSW. Staff consistently get orders wrong, regularly need to wait 10 mins only to receive cold food anyway. Best not to eat inside the actual premises as the tables are always filthy and bins overflowing, toilets a mess.

    To whom it may concern, my family of 6 people attended McDonald's Cessnock on Wednesday 231220 after attending Hunter Valley Gardens Xmas Light show. Many other people were coming and going during our time there, as we dined in. Our son signed us in with his phone. The service was slower than previous visits, All staff were wearing face masks and were pleasant but at no time during our 45min. stay did I see anyone wipe down any tables after people had left. Thanking you.

    Brought maccas through menulog last night at 7:50pm I waited for 2 hours I ended up going in myself to collect my own order. I ran into my delivery guy which was still waiting for my order (annoyed) He ended up telling me they lost my order 4 times cause of staff change over. I showed them my order and they had no clue so after another half hour of me standing around I eventually picked up my order got home at around 11:15pm. I should've checked but had missing chips, freezing burgers, missing nuggets. Just a nightmare for simple maccas 🤣 I get it restaurant's can get busy but 3hrs wow.

    One word to describe everything about this store .... S**T The food is constantly cold, the buns are stale, the workers pretend to gix issues, the workers are rude when taking orders, a grill slip cannot be read/understood so terrible training and managers, any complaint I have made I have never received satisfactory replies. As a vegetarian I do not get meat on anything and somehow still wait anywhere between 7 and 25 minutes every single time. The burgers are not made how they are supposed to be. They are dry. The chips are cold and floppy and taste like cardboard. Coffee doesn't taste like anything unless I pay the extra to have an extra shot. Never get napkins in my takeaway bags. Tonight my order which was cold and waited just over 15 minutes for was order 110 the order for 199 which is 11 orders before was still waiting when I left, ate my hash browns then came back in to complain about the rest of my order being cold. I have written then entire review while waiting which so far is 12 minutes for onion rings. The team throw orders out on the bench turn around and walk away. Some people do not hear their numbers because its a random shout. Hot coffee and tea is left on the bench ready for collection while children grab orders over the top trying not to spill it and burn themselves. My wife has become ill from eating the fries here and refuses to order here again. There is now another customer getting extremely agitated from waiting as his girlfriend got sick of waiting g and went to the car to get him to wait and he has been here a while. 17 minutes and still waiting. And I have only heard one apology from staff about the waiting. By far this McDonalds has taken the top spot for the most abysmal McDonalds in any of the 4 states of Australia I have travelled to. Worse then any in South Island of new Zealand and not even comparable with Fiji. This store NEEDS better management and every single employee to read anything McDonalds supplies in regards to customer service 25 MINUTES!!!! STILL WAITING AND ASKED TWICE TO HEAR WE ARE BUSY THEY ARE COMING. I also see why Mr Agitated was so ... Agitated... he ordered a happy meal with 2 extra cokes wow. Also 30 extra minutes now waiting on food to be rectified. 6 onion rings I don't even want the sauce. Team members are also so rude to managers .. extremely The photos I added are from a previous order No cleaning has happened, staff are slipping on mess and food on the floor So got my fresh onion rings after 46minutes as the last person left I guess asking again finally helped. **UPDATED** I got an extra 2 onion rings for free. Which usually I would be stoked at unfortunately they were all lukewarm Most were undercooked and the others hard and brittle. I could have stayed at home, watched a couple of coats of paint dry and eaten the dirt on the floor and most probably got more satisfacthanks for really bringing that christmas spirit to life

    Disgusting 🤮 Never have I seen such a filthy restaurant. Flies crawling over tables because they were not cleared. Food squished into the floor. Bins over flowing and no clean seat to sit on. I’m glad the three girls behind the counter were having a good chat. My burger was cold. Not even like warm to melt the cheese. Pick up your game.

    Ordered 2 coffees, 2 mc muffins and 8 Hash browns for hubby and I. When we went to pay for the order I noticed the mc muffin I ordered wasn't right so that needed to be fixed. When we got our Hash browns there was TWO in the bag they said we only ordered 2. Hubby needed to go back in and get the rest of the Hash browns. When he ate his mc muffins he said they tasted gross. Big mess really

    So I rocks after night shift to get some brekky for the kids before going to school. I goes through the drive through, ordered what was required and proceeded to pay at the window. I was presented with no greetings, service window closed, attendants back to me with the outside eftpos machine showing amount owing. Has it come to this when you don’t even get a good morning, just give me your money with bad service.

    I can not express my disappointment and disgust from our visit at the Cessnock establishment yesterday. The place was so dirty with rubbish and food on the floor. We had to try and find some napkins to wipe down the table. The service was terrible with people walking out after giving up waiting. The fries packet was only half full. No sauce with the nuggets. The only other customers at the time were half dressed, swimmers and a towel from the public pool across the road. Now you may ask why stay, well after waiting 7 years to reunite with our granddaughter it was too late to change the venue as they walked in behind us. It is such a shame to see a place like this go to rack and ruin.

    I don't know if staffing is an issue, but this is the dirtiest dining room and restrooms I have ever seen in a Maccas. The food was ok after I rearranged my burger so that it all lined up, 13 nuggets in a 10 pack, so portion control wasn't a big issue for the dude on that job this evening.

    The front counter had open boxes, cleaning stuff & other paraphernalia on it. When customers were given their orders it was in a small space between boxes. Extremely unprofessional. Too much talking amonst staff & standing around. Went through drive through today 22/12/22 & front counter was same again. Boxes, rubbish etc covering it. Need to work on their smiles & sour attitudes.

    Worst experience I’ve ever had with any McDonald’s was tonight at yours waiting over 20mins in the waiting bay for my order with over 20 or more cars going past with there orders to the point we had to get our money back because your staff kept stuffing us around doing other orders yet ours was long before staff seemed more focused on the doordash orders then those waiting. If there was a negative stars your restaurant deserves it! I won’t be back!!

    Staff always rush through ordering and do not listen and this is reflected in the items you get not being accurate, managers are never helpful and the way the food is put together you may as well eat cat food as it is presented nicer. If you take kids accept the fact that eshays hang around and are a nuisance. Floor and tables need to be cleaned better as there is a lack of hygiene and also cooking staff needs better training as picking scabs and fingers in nose are acceptable at this store without gloves as they proceed to handle food without washing hands or putting gloves on and hair nets are optional I guess.

    As a 24/7 McDonald's on Sunday morning's the last 4 weeks after 12.30am the big Mecca's light sign is off. So I drive past after work and as I past (hungry) the indoor lighting and staff inside.

    5 stars for Ben. 🌟🌟 A very kind and helpful staff member. He was making sure this Maccas was kept pristine, with wiping surfaces down, organising messy stations, and if someone needed something he was there to help. He welcomes everyone at the door. 😁 One of the best maccas employees I've seen. 🤩👍

    It's a Maccas... Clean and cheap, although the ladies restroom was badly in need of cleaning while we were there. Spoke to the staff about it, but they seemed disinterested.

    We were greeted by Ben at the front door and he was lovely. Willing to help us order and cleaned the machines before we used them. Our food was great, nice and cheap and tasted fantastic. One of the best Mcdonalds experiences I have had

    Worst maccas ever! Coffee is horrible. Always forget sugar. Ice cream machine is never working but they wont tell you that until you are stuck in the drive thru. All burgers were cold! Go lick the gutter outside, it tastes better and is less likely to make you sick
