Nice place for walking/jogging in morning or evening. Around 1.5Km of walking path which is sadly not paved, lot of seating area, Children’s playground, small area for small activities like badminton and other similar games where one can play with there kids or do some exercise & you can also spot few species of birds… I have seen security personal at one of the entrance gates which makes it safe as well. But the park requires some maintenance... sad that pets Re not allowed else could be a good spot for pet lovers as well...

Nice lake and park for morning or evening walks. Kids and family friendly. Parking could be problem sometime as roads are under construction. Sitting benches available. Kids play area. Nice place for walking, jogging and relaxing. 1. Total distance of walking path is approximately 1.07 Km 2. Has children play area 3. Walking path is even. Tiles not laid. 4. Sufficient benches are placed to take rest or relax. 5. Walking path is well maintained, but slippery when rains. 6. No designated Parking area, can be parked on roadside. 7. Toilet is available, not sure how cleanly it is maintained. 8. Overall: can be maintained better. 9. Opens between 5AM to 10AM & 4PM to 7PM.

Looking for a place to rejuvenate yourself after a long day? I like this lake park because of its serenity. It’s very peaceful, good for running and taking casual walks with loved ones. The surroundings are clean but the water could be better taken care of. This place is perfect for relaxation. Watch out for mosquitoes though

Very nice place in the centre of Whitefield. Can walk there evening and morning .

The lake was good previously, now one corner of the lake is deposited with some kind of waste and it smells very bad. Pleasant jogging experience is ruined because of this.

Perfect ground for walk/run around the lake. Park offers a good view with a variety of flowers and birds. This park is maintained by Benz. Sitting chairs are available. Play area for children's. It has a covered area with chairs for bad weather.

There is a lake and a narrow path around it that 2 people can walk on side by side, but the ground is uneven. It's just ok. What's not ok for me is the stink from the lake in certain parts. It looks like sewage and/or industrial waste is making it's way into it. It can get quite unbearable some days.

Nice lake. Ideal for morning and evening walks. Full of greenery. But toilets are not operational, they sud make it functional.

Nice place for morning run. 1.2km of Well maintained track. you wont get to hear much vehicles noise as well. I can see at some points where drainage and lake water mixes and lot of plastics at that point. Can be improved.

Beautiful lake. Well maintained with nice walkways and children's park. Amazing place to spend quality time with family and friends. Amazing views and lot of greenery. It has many benched laid around the lake where you can sit and enjoy the beauty of nature.

It’s a small lake,nice environment.it’s bit inside from main road that’s why less crowded I believe.Have seen many dead fishes in one side of the lake.This lake is connected with few drainage around this area I think this system is the cause pollution.Otherwise it’s nice,less crowded.

It's quite a good park, with less crowd and surrounding a small lake. Not much flora to be seen, a random hibiscus here and there and some marigold. Thankfully did not find any aggressive stray dogs here. It's ideal for jogging with the circumference spanning 2km approx. But don't expect and even track.

The water here has become green and filthy with bad smells at some areas. Very sad to see this beautiful freshwater lake turn into this dirty smelly lake..3 years ago we enjoyed walking around the lake and watching the different types of birds all around.

There are washrooms here but they are locked. Are they meant for citizens to use or for administration to show as a statistic? I see plenty of senior citizens walking, relaxing along the lake but the lack of basic facilities is not great.

Good place, well maintained mainly for morning and evening walk . jogging. Good to spend time , kids play area. Garden people come here for walking jogging taking fresh air in the morning and evening as well take precautionary actions and keep it safe and secure since many people visit here kids also visit here.

It is a public park. This park is best place for morning walk and work out. This park is present surrounding a beautiful lack. In this park there is also a dedicated children park. In this park one can also do yoga. In this park beautiful birds are also present. Overall Lakeview and park is awesome for adults and children . This open in the morning at 5 o'clock to 10 o'clock and in the evening it is open from 4 o'clock to 7 o'clock .

Sheelavanthakere Lake and Park. Sheela-vantha-kere. kere means lake. Sheela means good character or virtue. Vantha translates to "with". Meaning of Sheelavantha is a person with good character. It is very likely to be a person who belongs to this area. If I findout anyting about this person, I shall update this post. This was in my pending list. I could go there today and walked around full circle. Overall well maintained walk path and plants are well grown and very green. However, sewage is let in directly into this lake. Based on the wind direction, some parts of the walk paths are stinky. It is better to do half rounds avoiding stinky paths, instead of walk around full circle. I think sewage water can be redirected along outer boundary like it is done for other lakes. alleast it would avoid sewage getting into the lake on daily basis. when it rains, it would get in. but, it would be much better condition than now. Children park is nice. There is wear and tear, it is in playable condition. Some park items are built on interesting ideas. Overall, do visit and experience.
