we
visited
here
for
dinner
after
it
was
realized
that
the
Lebanese
spot
shown
on
the
local
map
was
no
longer
open.
It
was
just
a
bit
further
walk
from
our
resort
to
try
Rock
Lobster,
which
had
been
recommended
before
we
arrived
on
the
island.
Nice
décor,
well
maintained
property,
and
the
service
was
very
nice.
Due
to
upcoming
reservations
our
seating
was
at
a
high
patio
bar
table.
No
problem
for
us,
just
be
aware
if
you
arrive
without
a
res.
A
more
upscale
menu
here
than
most
places
we
visited
off
the
Marriott
property.
And
prices
to
match.
Leaning
heavy
towards
seafood,
which
makes
perfect
sense.
Many
dishes
utilizing
local
lobster.
Steaks,
paella,
ribs,
lamb
chops,
etc.
rounded
out
the
menu.
It
being
our
last
night
I
chose
to
start
with
a
delicious
mango
daquiri.
Well
made.
Our
entrée
choices
tonight
were
the
Bangers
and
Mash
and
the
Shrimp
Alfredo
Linguine.
Plus
a
starter
salad
with
the
house
made
(more)
mango
dressing.
During
the
wait
for
our
meals,
we
were
visited
by
an
extremely
cute
black
kitty
with
stunning
golden
eyes.
Clearly
waiting
to
clean
up
for
anyone
who
might
drop
edibles.
The
salad
was
a
nice
fresh
mix
of
local
lettuce,
tomato,
and
cucumber.
The
island
definitely
grows
some
excellent
fruits
and
vegetables.
Bangers
&
Mash
entrée
was
pretty
bland,
which
probably
makes
it
authentic
British.
It
was
a
huge
portion.
Small
mountain
of
mashed
potatoes,
four
good
sized
links
with
an
onion
gravy
and
dribbled
with
a
few
small
green
beans.
A
sprinkle
of
black
pepper
helped
some
but
it
was
really
lacking
any
flavor.
The
Shrimp
Fettuccine
was
much
more
flavorful.
Nicely
seasoned
alfredo
sauce
and
shrimp
that
were
fresh
and
tender.
Another
huge
portion.
The
pasta
started
to
absorb
the
sauce
pretty
quickly
making
it
somewhat
gummy
so
the
shrimp
became
the
focus.
Still
very
enjoyable.
They
definitely
know
what
they
are
doing
here
and
I
think
on
a
future
visit
choosing
different
entrees
we
would
be
even
happier
with
our
meals.
If
you
are
in
the
area
I’d
definitely
check
them
out.
