Timothy Hill Overlook

Tourist attraction

👍👍 We stopped here on an open air tour of St Kitts. It is a great view of where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean Sea. There were several people there with some of the local monkeys (wearing diapers) who would allow you to pet or hold the monkeys for pictures (for a fee). People often mention views, Atlantic, Caribbean, view, Kitts, spot, Ocean, island, Great, overlook,

Timothy Hill Overlook in St. Kitts offers stunning panoramic views, making it a serene escape with lush greenery and clear Caribbean waters. The drive to the overlook is picturesque, and the destination itself captures the essence of the island's natural beauty. It's a must-visit spot for those seeking tranquility and breathtaking landscapes.

This is the only point on the island where you can see both the Atlantic ocean and the Caribbean Sea. It's simply breathtaking and the view never looses it's novelty. Just behind the look out point is another view of the Frigate Bay area that you can enjoy from a wooden platform in the hill

One of our best stops on St. Kitts!! Unreal gorgeous views, great pictures. Saw a monkey in trees at overlook. Very nice lady & souvenir stand- Excellent selection-half the prices of stores in port. Cheap beer, & excellent local food. (Mac'n cheese pie & chicken). Definitely stop, I honestly cant wait to go back.

Timothy Hill Overlook, or the Lookout Point as I like to call it, has a spectacular panoramic view of Frigate Bay from the best vantage point ever. If you are a traveller who is into sightseeing and taking in the true essence and splendour of a place, then this is the ideal spot for you.

By far on my top ten lost for photos. Unbelievable sights on the southern of St. Kitts a wonderful venue to vacation away from the rest of the world.

As long as your car can make it, it is a great spot to stop and look at the island. Great views of the southern part of the island and of Half Moon Bay. Great spot for pictures. Especially good in the off-season; a bit crowded in the winter...

The views from the top on each side. FYI walkable from CRUISE port most definetly a long walk and not much sidewalks, but enjoyable and rewarding! Otherwise get on tour like everyone else 😊

We walked here from Timothy Beach Resort to watch the sun rise. It's a nice steep hill, so if you walk make sure you wear good shoes! It was worth it! Beautiful view with a nice breeze!

If you do a tour, you’re going to stop here. Nice views, but a private tour will get you better views. Think twice before paying to have a baby monkey sit on your head. The island has a difficult relationship with them.

The views are incredible and the drinks are cheap. You go here to take selfies and “I’m having more fun than you are” pictures. You only need about 15-20 min here, and generally this is a stop on a tour. There are small snacks and souvenir tents. There are no bathrooms, so plan accordingly. Free parking is available, but a bit chaotic with the tour busses.

Wunderschöner Aussichtspunkt auf St. Kitts. Absolutes Muss, wenn man dort im Urlaub ist. Es gibt einen Parkplatz, wo man gut halten kann für ein paar Fotos.

We stopped here while on a tour of St. Kitt's with Greg's Safaris. The coconut milk was a treat and we picked up some souvenirs for the kids. The place gets pretty busy. Great views of the Atlantic and the Caribbean.

I had an amazing experience at a overlook with a breathtaking view. We stopped there during sunset, and since there weren't many people around, it made the moment even better. Nothing else to do here but I would recommend taking a 5-10 minute break if you're passing by. It's definitely worth it!

Beautiful, but busy. Definitely go and see it, just be aware there will be a lot of people there. Also, the guys with the monkeys will be there trying to put the monkeys on you for photos. This is all over St. Kitts, not at Timothy Hill specifically. I didn't like seeing monkeys dressed up like people, and used this way for money.

From airport and cruise ships, you take a taxi up and over the mountain and you get views of two oceans, the Caribbean and the Atlantic. Head down to the carambola beach club after.

Timothy Hill Overlook is undoubtedly one of the must-see spots in St. Kitts, offering breathtaking panoramic views that truly showcase the island’s natural beauty. From the overlook, you can take in a stunning view of the peninsula and the nearby sister island of Nevis, making it a perfect spot for photos. There are two lookout points at Timothy Hill. The first provides a wide, scenic vista of the coastline and the lush greenery surrounding the area, while the second offers a spectacular view of Frigate Bay, with a clear view of notable hotels like the Marriott and Royal St. Kitts. As you enjoy the views, depending on the day and time, there is also local vendors where you can purchase souvenirs. You may even be lucky enough to meet a local with a monkey, which is a fun and unique photo opportunity for visitors. In addition to the gorgeous scenery, there is a popular St. Kitts sign at the overlook where you can take photos.

Gorgeous views of St Kitts with the Atlantic Ocean on the left and Caribbean Sea on the right. We went in June (off season) so no monkeys and was pretty quiet. It was very windy though! Viewing deck was closed. You just pull in before the tunnel. Worth a stop on your way down to the beaches 🥰

Breath taking views! You don't need a lot of time here but if your on St Kitts you must stop here. You can see where the Caribbean and Atlantic oceans meet, the peninsula at the end of St Kitts, Nevis and the beach and resorts nearby. It is free to visit! There are vendors selling many things for tourists but no restrooms.

Beautiful views, turbulent surfs in the deep blue Atlantic ocean to the left, calm azure waters of the Caribbean sea on the right. Winding roads wrap the many hills on this southern tip of the Saint Kitts lsland. Be careful with the blind curves.
