Absolutely amazing! Top tier equipment, attention to detail from the restrooms to gym floor, cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Eric will make sure you are greeted and show you around the equipment. If you are near Virginia Beach, drop in for a lift!

Love this gym!! First off, It’s such a positive environment. Everyone is really nice and friendly which I appreciate. The equipment and gym itself are incredibly clean. This is definitely a gym I can spend hours in each session and feel very comfortable

I’ve been working with Eric(Owner of the gym) for a few months now, and I couldn’t be happier. He has the knowledge and facility to get anyone in shape. What I really like and needed the most, were the tools for sustainability. He gives you access to an app that instructs you on what workouts you should be doing for the day, and it shows you a video on how to do each workout. I appreciate that because now I go into the gym and don’t have to guess what workouts to do. Now, I’m not doing the same old workouts I’ve always done. The app also allows you to keep track of your nutrition and what you eat, so you can stay in the proper range when you eat. It’s a private gym with private access. Very clean as well. Plenty of parking. I finally found my home gym

I totally recommend this gym. It is a brand new gym. It has incredible equipment. Completely love the environment. I honestly sound in love with this gym. Sometimes you get the gym all to yourself. It is open 24/7, it’s private, clean, 3 to 4 people at a time working out, it’s totally a vibe. Will be back soon !!!!!!!!!!! And the gym owner is fantastic. This gym is incredible - the equipment is top of the line and there are some awesome pieces rarely seen in other gyms. The space isn’t huge, but it is well laid out and has all of the staple machines and equipment any lifter would want. The owner, Eric, is a super genuine guy and cut me a generous deal on a multi day pass since I was visiting from out of town. Will definitely come back when in VA Beach and I recommend any serious lifters check this place out when in the area!

Absolutely beautiful brand new facility where the owner carefully thought out every detail with NEW vibrant red and black equipment with coordinating decor. Each machine is next level taking an old school style and stepping up it’s game to make the machines better with adjustment capabilities that you can make to better fit YOUR body. I love the vision the owner has for the gym as well as giving back to the community. As a VB Native & active in the Fitness Community, I welcome Awaken Inside Gym to the area!! Simply put, Eric is an amazing coach. He consistently listens and reassesses your goals, tracks your fitness progress, and offers the most encouraging advice and support any client could ask for. He always keeps an open line of communication and makes it a priority to check in with clients. Aside from his fitness expertise, Eric carries an extremely welcoming and kind demeanor which makes him super easy to work with. In town visiting! So both my boyfriend and I participate in powerbuilding and originally based in Cincinnati. We needed a nice gym to continue our schedule while out of town. Found this gym on google maps and decided I should help others out too! We pulled in and the owner actually fully opened the door and greeted us in which was probably the best introduction I’ve had to any place I’ve ever been to LOL He gave us a very nice run down of the gym which was awesome. Literally the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to. It smells amazing? Which I’ve never thought I’d be able to say. The bathrooms are superb. Never seen a gym owner be so thoughtful to their patrons. Included tampons, hair ties, etc in the bathroom (even poopurri for those pre - workout induced…) The equipment is the most intuitive that I’ve ever experienced. Every part that you wished was adjustable is adjustable in three different ways here Really nice platforms for deadlifting, even included the chalk bowl and super nice bar clips. Just a very nice gym all around. I loved it. Eric, the owner, is also a very down to earth dude. We have so much love and support to him and this gym!

If you're a serious lifter, you'll instantly feel at home when you step into Awaken Inside. All of the equipment is new and in top condition. There are a few machines for cardio, but most of the space is dedicated to moving serious weight. The owner, Eric Hinz, is friendly without being overbearing or in your face. Though he's willing to take a moment to talk shop about lifting if you feel inclined. He'll personally show you every machine in the gym and he gave me a discount for the week even though I'm in from out of town. If I'm ever in Virginia Beach again, I'm going to Awaken Inside, no question.

We were visiting VA from California, and the owner Eric was super inviting and encouraging. It is a great environment, and not super crowded. Not to mention, it’s a 24 hour gym, so you can get your work in whenever you need to. Eric also includes personal training for his members. In conclusion, go here, and meet your goals.

I really do love this gym! I’m kind of new to fitness so I had lots of questions and the owner, Eric, has always answered them happily and been compassionate and so patient! He’s always happy and confident and it physically transfers to you! He’s a great coach and trainer and very knowledgeable! All the members of the gym are super friendly and supportive no matter where they are in the journey. It’s super clean, the bathroom has feminine products, the music is fire. It’s a really great place to transform yourself inside and out! And they have a body scanner to show you your progress even if you don’t see it on the scale which is a great motivator. 10 stars ⭐️ ✨💪🏽

Seriously the best kept gym secret in VB! The gym is so nice & clean. The other customers are all so friendly & Eric is super helpful! Truly a gym family and not just faces passing by. The 24 hours is great as well! My schedule can get hectic sometimes so being able to come whenever is a huge plus in my book. Sign up! You won’t regret it (:

Clean, organized, and everything you need. When you step into a gym like this, there are no excuses on why you can’t hit your goals. The gym equipment is in superb condition, the environment is very inviting, people are friendly. They even have a supplement station to help you refuel after getting a great workout in. They have free weights, cable machines, cardio machines, and all the barbell equipment you could ask for. The best part is that the equipment is spaced out right and laid out correctly so you aren’t tripping on members or equipment.

Very nice Gym, great staff. Very knowledgeable owner. Eric is always engaged and helping with your personal fitness goals. The facility is always very clean and other members are friendly and courteous.

Awaken is more than a gym. It’s a mindset and a safe place to grow, learn, and push yourself beyond your limits. The equipment is state of the art and top of the line. It’s extremely clean. The other members are respectful of each other and the space. Hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever trained in.
