People talk of hidden gems and this is definitely among the top on my list! So getting there is easy, an Uber can do or driving with any personal car. There's only a little rough road around 100M as you enter the cottages. The hosts were extremely warm I tell you, don't think we lacked anything to be honest... We asked for 'a few photos' and swear they took way more photos that we bargained for πŸ˜… Facilities were amazing as well my highlight being the jacuzzi and infinity pool! This is one of the few spaces I've been to that felt really homey! I mean from the architecture to the decorations, all so perfect to compliment the views. Yes, I'd go back here anytime to be honest. During my stay I was told a new cottage is being built for couples so definitely taking her back there ASAP!

Wonderful escape an hour and a half from Nairobi. We stayed at Oromet and it was wonderful. The common pool is fantastic with many levels and different hangout spots. The place has 3 cottages, but very private from each other. Loved it all and will be back

Aaww the views on these cottages are just to die for!! The rooms are modern yet unique with the main theme is use of natural resources and blending with nature! I lived my stay here and will definitely come back for more.

We began our African Sojourn with Ol Talet. And believe me, what a way to begin a journey! The location is stupendously beautiful, overlooking the Southern Rift Valley, and the Ol Talet team, lead by Chef Christopher is simply brilliant. His team, comprising David, Precious, Simon and some more impressive people served us well and made us feel completely at home. In the group photo below, you can see Chef Christopher and Precious next to him, with our family! If you are visiting Nairobi, please do plan to experience this place, It is just a 90 minute drive south of the city. Highly Recommended! Only one caveat, though. If you are a senior citizen, you may find the terrain just a bit challenging. Otherwise a perfect place to holiday.

Fantastisc cottage on top of the hill. We and stayed at the main house with two families. It had 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite). We enjoyed the beautiful views, amazing pools and hottub. Martin was the best chef, he made brilliant dinners with the few ingredients we brought with us. Service in general was perfect: bags were taken up, towels at the pool were provided, lunch was served at the pool, fire was made outside. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Great for a relaxing getaway from Nairobi. The pool is really nice. Cottaged are rustic but very comfortable. Note, there's a quarry nearby, which makes a some noise during working hours.

#OlTalet #SouthernRiftValley #Nairobi #Endonyongiro #Olorgisaile #AfricanSafariDiaries Ol Talet, literally meaning "View from above", is situated 90 minutes south of Nairobi, 500 metres above seal level. A collection of cottages, it overlooks the Southern Rift Valley with a magnificent view of the Endonyongiro and Olorgisaile mountains. Completely environment friendly, it is a great way of getting back in touch with Mother Nature, who we invariably forget and ignore in our humdrum Mumbai lifestyle. Great service from Christopher, Precious, David and Simon. If you are looking for some Nature's Balm, no better place to go to! One star has been reduced only due to the rugged terrain thru which you have to go, making it a bit unsuitable for senior citizens. #MotherNature #GoGreen #BackToRoots #MittiKeeKhushboo

πŸ‘πŸ‘ πŸ‘ Beautifully designed landmark in Kajiado. The owner Deborah and her husband have built a wonderful collection of atmospheric get-aways, which can be booked via AirBnB. πŸ€™All of them have a very nice and individual touch. Top!πŸ‘Œ
