I had a lovely time at the kitengela hot glass. It's past Ongata Rongai and 30-40 minutes after you get to African Nazarene University (Main Campus). The tarmac ends after the university and the road is really bad & tiresome. A 4WD is ideal for the trip especially when it rains. Entry fee to Kitengela hot glass is 350/- per person. You'll have a tour of the place, walk across the 50M high kitengela glass bridge, look at beautiful glass art creations, unwind at the swimming pool or lounge looking with beautiful views, watch & learn about glass blowing. There's no restaurant at the premises.. so they allow food from outside though you can always grab something to eat at the adjacent hotels. They have the friendliest staff!! Google maps is accurate.

Had an amazing experience over the weekend with friends. We couldn't help but marvel at the creativity of recycling glass to create different beautiful objects. The bridge was not as scary as I thought and the swimming pool was very amazing. I did not fail to notice the tortoises.

A very special place lost in the forest where Kenyan artists make glass art out of recycled materials. Apparently, this small community lives on site and you too can stay with them in very original cottages hidden in the trees. Maybe a bit "Spartan" for those accustomed to luxury safari lodges, but definitely worth the experience for the others!

(Translated by Google) very interesting situation, craftsmen artists working recycled glass and other materials. They set up the delightful guest house, a nice pool, all surrounded by greenery, between baboons and various types of birds. A crossover path of the suspension bridge over the river, you can reach a beautiful vantage point on Nairobi National Park.

A must see, and don’t miss stopping by the son’s commercial business next door, but Nani’s is where it all started. Very creative atmosphere with the right attitude towards creating amazing things from waste. Their level of using repurposed materials shows in their buildings and art which is for sale.

I used to like this place until I’ve met the owner. Extremely sarcastic, horrible, bitter and unpleasant old lady. She wanted me to come over and I’ve got bitten by one of her Rottweilers. She just started to laugh telling me that he was just playful. No, he wasn’t playful but very protective. She didn’t even apologize, instead she was laughing at my face being sarcastic. Never again.

Gaudi in Africa; Santorini on acid and the savannah through the looking glass. Quirkiest thing ever, magical eclectic artistry. Bonkers bananas. Around every corner we were confronted by a new wonder, hilarious or spooky, gorgeous or devolved, but always arresting and original.

The home is good. Come with your own food and though the staff can be a bit slow, it's a cool and quiet environment.

Hard to get to but worth the drive. Many animals in close proximity. Keep windows and doors latched. Feels like other world experience.

USE GLASS OASIS LANE. Okay so! I if you're going to this place for the first time ever and using the maps I suggest when you're getting really close to the place use the GLASS OASIS Lane as it's a much better and easier road plus you'll get there faster than the suggested route.
