Really good sushi and the portion sizes are very generous. Highly recommended. Our server was very attentive and kind so we left him a big tip for being so great 😊

We were told it would be a hour for sushi which was fine, brought our drinks took our order and that was the last time we so our waitress until our food which was 40 mins and we got our drinks refilled at that point Then she followed me outside wondering why I didn’t tip. Tips are earned for service. Other tables were checked on several times so no I’m not leaving a tip.

The food was absolutely amazing,the cucumber & seaweed salad was very tasty the 3 days I ate there. Will definitely return when I'm in Klamath Falls again.

I never ate sushi before so we ordered many things. I really liked the tempura. My favorite was the Crusty Crab.

Great sushi for good price. The waitress was really helpful and had suggestions for post meal drinks and dessert (we wanted birthday cake and not mochi). The dining room is small-ish so maybe consider that if you're bringing a large group. Will be going again.

My partner and I got food to go, and it was great! We got the chicken katsu, miso soup, and green tea ice cream. All delicious, big portions, and well made. The restaurant was busy despite seeming slightly understaffed (I think one person in the front, one back), but the young man who took our order was very kind and took his time with helping us. The food didn't take long. The dining area is very cozy, with pretty lanterns and a natural, minimal lay out. Great food, deal, service, and atmosphere, I would definitely return if I was in the area!

This was the first time I've been here. It was a very nice experience. The server was nice and helped me choose between rolls. It's been a long time since I've had shrimp tempera and was pleasantly happy. I had tea & miso soup as well. They got busy and full fast. I did leave earlier than I would have so that new patrons could be seated. There was no pressure to leave though.

Small restaurant but very good! The Fire Cracker Roll is fantastic, the perfect amount of spice. The wait is real but the food is worth it!

I wanted to like this restaurant but it must have been a bad day for them. The rice was old, the bulgogi was ok but the California roll was a little mushy. I think they were short staffed and the service was slow because of this. The sole person in front was running around having to do everything from greeting, seating, taking orders, delivering food,busing tables, and settling checks. Tough day for them.

Sashimi was very good even at the end of the day on Saturday night. The green salad was crisp and dressed in a sesame oil vinaigrette. They had signs up that they were understaffed and several of the tables said NOT AVAILABLE. They also ran out of rice after we had been served

Enjoyed dine in service with my partner for dinner. Great quality and fair prices. Don’t forget to order Saki (pro tip: if you consume too much wasabi, a sip of Saki will wash away the burn!).

Always great food at Hanayori! We had the chicken teriyaki, the firecracker roll and the Oregon roll. All of it was delish and the service was great. Go early and you can eat in before they get busy!!

I went there 4-5 years ago and a Korean guy was making sloppy sushi rolls... Americans in a small town probably don't know good sushi... Has it gotten any better.? Just because a guy opens a sushi restaurant doesn't make it good.

Honestly food was amazing! Will definetly come for food again, came in around 6pm 03/29/23 and nothing was wrong with the speed of the service either just the fact that the server smelled like Body Odor very badly and every time she dropped off stuff to our table thats all you can you can smell 🤢 if owner could maybe talk to her about that ill 100% comeback and give 5 stars Edit: i did eat full dinner and im sorry for the gender confusion and i dont care if the server was young like i said they actually served verywell and was quick it really was just a body odor thing that wasnt a good thing for a server to have handling food.

My family loves the Kristy Krab so we often come here and order a few of those rolls. Over the years we’ve noticed service is often very slow, so don’t come here if you are in a rush. But workers are always nice and pleasant. Other sushi rolls and foods are decent, but Krusty Krab is what brings us back.

We were the first people to arrive at around 6:30 on a Thursday night, it filled up very quickly and the waiter was young, but very attentive and nice, the food was great, took just as long to prepare as most restaurants, maybe even faster, and everyone else was getting food just as fast.

We arrived about 7pm on a Friday night. We were advised sushi would take longer. We ordered two starters and 5 rolls. It didn't take as long as we were initially told and everything was very good the table favorite was the Burrito Roll!

Best sushi! The waiter was very young, lacked customer service skills and he had no knowledge of rolls or dishes. It was frustrating to order, but after I received the food, it was delicious.

There was only one server and it took a long time to seat us. Agedashi tofu was covered in way too much flour I had to dig the tofu out to just eat that. Sushi rice was overcooked. Ambience was bland. Waitress so super friendly but could tell she was a little overwhelmed. Not all tables were used due to "covid" which is redundant at this point. Not a spot I would revisit.

Food is good; this is the better of the 2 "Japanese" restaurants in town. Always understaffed, poor servers who don't know how to handle busy atmosphere. You either get turned away because there's no tables, or wait 20-30 minutes for an empty table to get bussed because there's only 1 server. I suggest you order for take out to avoid the wait and awkward staffs. Make sure your rolls haven't fallen over when you order to-go..

The food was amazing but the service not so much. With the understanding of trying to keep help in this market and the server was new...so 5 stars

This place is not fancy and The service is pretty slow but the food is great. Prices are pretty fair.

Food was yummy but we waited for about an hour for our to go order. I thought they'd be slammed but when I went to pick it up there was only 2 people in the restaurant!

We got garden salad w/ house dressing, light & beautiful tasting. Miso soup w/ tofu, green onions & mushrooms, so delicious, hot & comforting. Firecracker roll & Volcano roll, both looked like works of art and tasted amazing. Ordered 2 more of same rolls to go. Even the hot tea was great quality!!!
