What a step back in time!! And I mean this in the best way possible! It’s almost impossible to find the “old school” pork noodles anymore and how thrilled I was to find them at Wong’s Cafe! They came piping hot in the most delicious broth with ample amount of BBQ pork. And the half a hard boiled egg was topped with chopped green onion. BRAVO! It was like I was a kid again. And the sweet and sour chicken is golden crispy perfection with the perfectly balanced sweet and sour sauce. And don’t get me started on the fried rice! If you want gummy and sticky fried rice with those nasty frozen vegetables do NOT order it at Wong’s. What you’ll get at Wong’s is a wonderful blend of perfectly fried rice with a nice amount of spices. Not too salty - just right! The ambiance is not over the top - and reminiscent of the Chinese restaurants from the past. Again that’s a compliment! Please give Wong’s a try - it’s a small town gem.

Amazing, tasty, absolutely wonderful food. The cuisine here does not disappoint. We got beef lo mein, orange chicken, and pork noodles (as a soup) which were all amazing. I would say the best out of all of them was the pork noodles- the broth itself was SO. GOOD. The pork was good too, albeit a bit salty. The noodles were also good of course. The orange chicken was a bit dry, but the sauce made up for it, as there was a definite taste of orange which you can't find anywhere else. The beef in the lo mein also had a rich taste, had texture, and was not dry. The service was also great. Our waitress answered all our questions regarding the food, what to get, etc., kindly and efficiently.

Ok, so July is the busiest month of the year for Crater Lake, drawing thousands of people. You’d think, being that Klamath isn’t a particularly large town, and that it’s one of the closest to Crater Lake, that Wong’s would be prepared for the rush of customers, right? They weren’t even prepared for what I would consider an average or slow night; the restaurant was almost entirely full and there was ONE waitress. Bless her heart, she was amazing, but it was impossible to wait on that many tables at once. I came in for fried rice takeout 🥡 and she took my order right away, but then I sat for almost an hour and waited for it. In addition to slow service, the place simply was not clean. Everything behind the register and counter looked as though it hadn’t been touched in years, the booths and chairs were covered with a patina of old cooking oil. Worst of all, the drinking water was cloudy, and the glasses so dirty you could hardly see through them😣 (See photo). Bottom Line? I do not recommend Wong’s Café. Once I finally got the rice it was edible, hence the two ⭐️s instead of only one. Note: There is a great Mexican restaurant down the street I do recommend instead of Wong’s Cafe.

Second time ordering take out from Wongs. Everything was very good except the Chicken Curry. It’s also the second time ordering the Curry Chicken. First time ordering the curry, it only had miniature scraps of chicken in it. Not nearly enough to even legitimately call it ‘Chicken’ Curry, it is more like Onion and Pepper Curry. I love curry and the taste was good and I figured they deserved a second chance. Unfortunately, it was exactly the same the second time. A disappointing pile of onions and peppers with a very few tiny pieces of chicken. Again, not nearly enough to honestly call this dish Chicken Curry. I called them (which I almost never do) and I told them they forgot to add chicken, her reply was ‘that’s how we do it’ That’s amazing. Calling a dish Chicken Curry and only having little traces of chicken is ‘how you do it’ ??? Well when I get ripped of like that… this is how I do it. That’s just pathetic.

Right when you walk in the door, you are greeted warmly and served by the sweet, beautiful, and genuine owner. The food far exceeded expectations. My mom brought me here, and the whole time, I couldn't stop commenting on how excellent the food is. I wish more places were like this. The prices are fantastic and the portions are perfect. This is a great experience for 1, 2, and the whole family. I will be back as often as I come back to town. PS: WOW

Wonderful staff and great food for good prices. Large portions that are delicious, LOVE the egg-foo yung. Also had crab puffs, BBQ pork, chicken fried rice, sweet n sour chicken, egg flower soup, chicken chow mein, ALL very good.

I've eaten at Wongs before. There food had always been good. I tried the greens beef and it's more my favorite dish. They are still short on help so there is a little wait but the food is week worth the wait.

This is exactly what you imagine when you think of an American Chinese food place. It has a very extensive menu with all the things you'd expect. The food looked and tasted like what you'd expect. The service was very good. The server was polite, efficient, and was careful to make sure we got what we were asking for. The food prices were lower than comparables. They could easily raise everything on the menu by a dollar and still be cheaper than most. They charge 3.75% extra if you use a card. They prefer cash.

The waitress was very kind and made sure we were taken care of. Instead of just "taking our money" when finished, she talked to us about the difference in the noodle dishes my wife and I had and how she loves seeing people try different ones. We are not local to the area but will definitely be back if given the chance!

Good service, but not fast. Food is just ok, similar as Panda Express. Give 5 star because the staff is so kind, that they kept and returned sunglasses to travelers who left it at the restaurant.

Older restaurant but amazing food. The staff was so friendly but it seemed to be a little understaffed. Really, really good BBQ pork. I loved my General Tsos; big chunks of white meat and a very flavorful sauce. Visit Wongs if you are in K Falls!!!!

I’ve been eating at Wong’s since the early fifties to this day and have never had anything but fabulous food at great prices. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good food and service at a reasonable price.

I went into order takeout on November 3rd, 2022. I believe the gal's name was Shary(?) (she was the new hostess). I rarely have a good experience when ordering food from restaurants especially if it's just a to-go order, but Shary made it amazing. She was hard-working, attentive, super nice, and despite being new, never showed any stress she may have been feeling. I really appreciate it more than she knows!

Our dinner was little over cooked and the restaurant is understaffed. Really sweet waitress. But, they need more than one. Patrons were busing tables just to help her out.

We went tonight and the food was amazing! Everything was fresh and the portions were so large. We went with our one year old daughter and everyone there was so kind to her! She loved the attention haha. She even loved the food too! (Especially the eggrolls 😂) It was an amazing experience and we will definitely go everytime we get a craving for Chinese food. Such amazing people and food ❤️

Very good food and very friendly waitress. I was really excited to find a restaurant in town with so many vegetarian options! Will definitely be going back.

Wongs is the best Chinese food I've eaten in KF's. They have a good selection of all the favorites expected from American style Chinese food. Their prices are reasonable too. Give them a try...you won't be disappointed.

Fresh, clean, and not a speck of dust on any of the fixtures at wongs. The food is fantastic and full of flavor. Don't be thrown off by the old decor. This place has excellent food with a huge vegetarian menu. When we first walked in I felt like we were at the restaurant in "the Christmas story". This is family owned and operated for over 30 years. You won't be disappointed. The food is excellent!

Very kind service, quick turnaround and well priced, on top off the food being amazing. I grabbed takeout here, and the hostess recommended their special bean sprout lo mein, and it was unique and wonderful. Everything else (egg rolls, fried chicken, and fried rice) were perfect as well. If you're near Klamath Falls this place is worth the visit.

Not the overly salted American Chinese food I was expecting. It was perfect - light yet well-seasoned; not bland at all. Does that even make sense? I am impressed, as well by the waitress’ attentiveness. She even knows how to handle our fussy toddler. Extra gold star for her!
