Dog friendly outside, even have a dog water fountain. Simple sandwiches served on parchment paper on a plastic basket.

Visiting Klamath Falls for the first time and lucked into Leap of Taste. All the gf and vegan bakery options were labeled. My husband has celiac and we were delighted to find 3 frittata options with no crust. The sausage and potato was delightful with just a hint of heat from the pepper. The BLT was terrific with lots of bacon and tomato. My husband tried the gf tea cakes and liked them but I didn’t fry them because they had nuts. Good coffee and cream - not just half and half, which we love. The atmosphere was the icing on the cake with comfy armchairs and tables with chairs or a bar with stools - so you could pick your favorite. Also plenty of outlets for charging - a nice bonus to be able to charge our phones. Hope to get back here someday if we pass this way again.

I have been here a few times, and each time it has been a pleasure. The food and drinks are delicious and freshly prepared. The staff is kind. This is a great place to study or just hangout and enjoy a lovely lunch.

I am a local from Klamath, but I have traveled the world. Leap is always my go to, but recently they have gotten even better. In the last year Leap has been creating creative, delicious and incredible food. We are so lucky to have a place like this here. Hands down the best place for lunch in town. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came here for the first time for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was and how fresh and locally sourced it is. Great food options at rotate with the seasons not to mention good drinks on the coffee menu. Maybe the only Farm to Fork restaurant in Klamath.

Ate a sandwich called “no joke artichoke” SO GOOD. Because it’s impossible to find gluten free food in K-Falls. Be back next week!

Some times this place is great other times you get a bland sandwich scraps of wilted greens on stale bread and mayo so thin why bother all while forgetting to place what you asked for on it . That was today who knows how good or bad it can get next time. Today its the trash for this thing.

I've only been there once but the atmosphere was really unique and the service was amazing, they were all really nice! The food was delicious although I've never seen some of the drinks they had.

Always friendly service and good, healthy food. They offer as many organic options as they can and always have vegetarian and vegan options as well. They're good at creating some awesome weekly smoothie options too! Their vegan soups have always amazed me with wonderful flavors!

Today was the worst experience. New workers but no excuse. Took forever, had to ask MULTIPLE times "uhhh what size", had another customer come back and asked what all they wanted from case again after already having paid and sat down. Food is great drink are great. Overpriced for such bad service. Also forgot Greens on one sandwich. For a "high end" deli its giving mc Donald's from the staff today.

I love and adore this place so much. They're so creative and always inventing new things to try. Excellent service and food as well as beautiful environment. I have had everything from breakfast burritos, frittata, coffee drinks, lemonade, salads, sandwiches, etc. My favorite things are the gyro bowl, salmon salad, soups and gluten free paninis. I don't think you can go wrong with anything. Such a good community oriented staple. Live music, local products, quiet nooks and more.

After a long specific conversation on the size of a Half Vs Whole gluten free sandwich, I ordered a Whole gluten free sandwich since I have a long day ahead. After waiting for almost 20 minutes, I get a small 2 inch × 4.5 inch sized sandwich. I tell the same server that I have ordered a Whole sized sandwich and he replies with a shrug, "I am sorry gluten free bread is small". The only reason I walked all the way to this place was cos it said 'gluten friendly' and was very clear all along that I am talking about a GF sandwich. Pathetic & disappointing!!

Why am I having my morning coffee in Klamath Falls!? Wouldn't you like to know? That's why we're here... Whenever you travel as much as I do, you never know when you're going to have a layover with a new adventure. For me, that day was today. So A Leap of Taste gets the review. In summary, it was as expected, which is a good thing. It has a small town feel that seems very important to the community. It's located right next to the downtown event space, which happened to be hosting a daytime Halloween event for the kids. It made the views quite pleasant from the front of the cafe. The coffee was great, the food was also good, even if it did take a bit longer than I normally expect, but that's what you get in small towns. The service is a bit slower, but that's because people are having conversations with people they actually know. It enhances the atmosphere as long as you're not in a rush. The people were pretty inquisitive about my presence, with almost everyone stopping to chat for a while. I had the time, so I waxed poetic with the locals about topics ranging from musical instruments to SNL. Experiences like this aren't always available, so when you find one, it's best to write about it. Great visit.

I opened my clinic in this same building as Leap in 2019. I would not be as healthy or happy as I am today without this WONDERFUL cafe! Keegan and his team bring creative, delicious, carefully crafted dishes to our everyday lives. And they are extremely healthy. They source fresh and local, and as an East Asian Medicine Practitioner, I know that food matters so much. The quality of the ingredients matters so much to nourish our bodies. I credit Leap for keeping me healthy and nourished for all of these years as I hold space for and treat the people of Klamath Falls in my clinic. And they are always so welcoming, friendly, and remember my food allergies. They have fun lemonades in the summer, and always a variety of soups, sandwiches, desserts, drinks, and specialty items. Love you guys!

I used to love Leap and was a loyal customer for many years. However, some time back, a few years really, it seems like things changed. They maybe started to cut corners and the coffee was just not good anymore, maybe new management? Anyway, I took my niece out today to support their new Sunday hours as she had never been there before. Everything about our orders were off. I bought a cupcake that didn't show a price but looked beautiful. It ended up being $4.75, thought that was steep but okay maybe it's great. Nope. I'm guessing it was several days old. The icing was rock hard. My coffee tasted like watered down creamer, hardly had any coffee taste. Niece's mocha, same, tasted like warm hot chocolate. They are skimping on the espresso now apparently. I was not going to leave a review but we got to our next destination and my niece didn't get her proper change back. She was shorted about $3 and the cookie she bought was also rock hard. Just not a great place to get coffee anymore, which is too bad because their mission is great. I thought the last time I took an out of town guest there for bland coffee was going to be my last time in, but I gave them another shot to just be disappointed again. Leap is no longer Leap and I'm pretty sure it isn't on the baristas... it seems to be management making different policies. If you go, skip the coffee and try an overpriced sandwich instead. Or, better, Leap on over to the next place.

I visited this little gem of a coffee shop/cafe in the heart of downtown Klamath and I was more than pleased! From the ambience when you first walk in, the assortment of unique gifts you can purchase before leaving, and everything in between, this is definitely a new favorite of mine! Their menu (which is also vegan/vegetarian friendly 😊) has a wonderful selection of coffee, teas, kombucha, sandwiches, salads and soups to choose from. The pickle grilled cheese that was recommended to me by one of the friendliest employees ever is hands down THE BEST!! There is a selection of books to choose from if lounging on the couch and reading is your thing. When I happened to visit there was live music that was great! I went in feeling good and left feeling even better! Love this place!

Absolutely excellent. I ordered a Matcha Latte and a Chai Latte. Both are very pleasant on the pallet. Lovely atmosphere with lots of cool items for sale.

This place is such a gem to stop at while in town. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is beautiful. They had some really healthy and indulgent vegan options, all of which were delicious.

Really nice vibe in the place. I wasn't a fan of the two coffees that's I tried, and the bagel was nothing special. But what I did like was the atmosphere and vibe in the place. I would return and try something different.

Cool spot, DELICIOUS lunch. Seriously the best turkey cranberry sandwich I’ve had. And the zippy veggie soup was a yummy compliment. Plus Friendly service. I’ll be back

Food used to be really good, but things have changed a lot in the last couple of years. Attention to detail is lacking and when I ordered a raspberry Italian soda, I received strawberry instead (which is possibly my least favorite flavor) and I had asked for whipped cream and didn’t get any. Half their menu isn’t even available anymore and half of the sandwiches I’ve gotten have had been more bread than anything else. On top of that the environment is dark and uninviting when it used to be bright and comfortable. I miss the old Leap of Taste, it used to be really good. Sadly, I don’t think I’m willing to give it another chance after every time I have gone in recently has missed the mark.

I go to Klamath Falls often for shopping and other errands and have been frustrated at a lack of good options for lunch until I found this place, A Leap of Taste. I and a friend both had very excellent sandwiches and got great service. My friend had eye surgery that morning in the area and did not want to eat inside and we had a terrific shadded table outside. There were many really nice options for tables inside as well, The place was pretty busy when we got there, b eing a noon lunch hour and I was surprised at the very prompt service we got with our food to our table. Neither of us were able to finish the wonderful large sandwiches and were given nice take home boxes to take the other half. If you are in town looking for a great place for lunch (or breakfast) these folks have exc ellent food at the best prices in town

Cute coffee shop with a ton of gluten free options! From sandwiches ( GF bread ), salads, soups and of course sweets. All tasting amazing. Coffee was pretty good with a handful of alternative milk options. Great experience.

If you find yourself in Klamath Falls, Oregon around breakfast or lunchtime, do yourself a favor and stop in to A Leap of Taste for some amazingly tasty food and cozy ambiance. Probably worth the drive to Klamath Falls just for this place tbh.

Great lunch spot in Klamath Falls! They serve sandwiches, salads, and soups, and have a nice pastry case. I particularly like their truffles. For lunch their pickle grilled cheese and their gyro bowl are my go-to. It’s got a fun, artsy atmosphere, and the most recent time I went here they had live music.

I really enjoy eating at Leap of Taste! I really love this #4, the pesto on it is my favorite! There's always a tasty treat on their case. I tried the gluten free brownie and it was good. It was more cakey than chewy. The truffles are good! Their restaurant is really cool. Lots of organic, local, and eco-friendly-type items. They have nice outdoor seating for the nicer weather months.
