I like to come to this park and take advantage of the access to the walking trail along the lake (The Wing Watchers Trail). From what I have seen, Veterans Park always has a plethora of visitors. Whether your taking a stroll, waking dogs, or just relaxing and enjoying the view out over the lake, there is bound to be something to do here. One of my favorite things is around Christmas time the old retired train (a historical exhibit at the park) is decorated with Christmas lights and lit up on display which is really pretty. In the summer I have seen quite a few people out on the water with their toys or canoes and kayaks. It's a fun park with alot of diversity....(did I mention the lovely views along the lake? Especially around sunset! )😉

This was a nice park. There is a boat ramp and life jackets borrow station. The bathrooms are closed due to some vandalism and both female and male bathrooms were distorted. There is a nice water spicket spray in the lake which is a cool sight. People were feeding the birds and I had a great relaxing time.

The most beautiful place for the Veterans to be remembered and blessed. I know I am blessed everytime I come pay my respect to my grandpa, dad, and cousin. There is a paved path along the lake you can walk down with your family.

Beautiful park with plenty of places to walk or drive, usually many ducks and birds to see and interact with. Wonderful view of the lake and much of the city. Excellent places and trails for walking, sightseeing and birding with many different species to encounter. A lot of grass park areas with tables and chairs to sit. A large cement amphitheatre and historical train.

It was pretty simple, but mostly my experience was ruined by the fact that the rest rooms were closed and it was only 3 pm. There was a porta potty there, but it didn't lock, and it was soak and wet! So because of that I had to cut it short and move on to another location to enjoy....and use the facilities!!!

Beautiful scenery and lots of events during the summer

A medium sized grassy area with a nice view of the lake. No real facilities of note that I could see. A number of homeless people hanging around. 5 minutes is all you need.

Clean with a nice view of the lake. A great place to stop to eat. Good trash cans that weren't overflowing. Has easy access back onto the highway if you're just stopping by.

This is a very nice park just sits on the bank of lake Ewauna in Klamath Falls. We made a stop along road 97 and really enjoyed the beautiful view, had fun and relax. The lake view is great, the grasses are super good and well maintained. Lots of big trees are nice to block the sunshine, very comfortable to walk around. The only bad thing is there is that only portable restrooms are available. Also there is memorial train-head(Southern Pacific steam locomotive 2579) parked here for viewing. Nice place.

It was ok. There were a few ducks. I didn't even think to take my camera out for photos. My apologies.

This is a great park to eat lunch, take a stroll or take pictures and look at the ducks, pelicans and other birds. You might even see a Bald Eagle at the south end if the park in the trees across the lake. There is no play ground equipment, but during the summer months there are organized events with live music and food carts.

The Lake is beautiful and has several different species of birds. The park itself is very beautiful as well, the memorial is pretty cool.

Nice park, quiet in the early morning. Saw some cigarette butts on the ground which is sad because there was a trash can five feet away for when the cig was put out. Saw a pelican take flight which was beautiful. In the south where I'm from pelicans are brown. The white ones are a novelty to me. My dog enjoyed a little walk around and liked to keep an eye on the geese.

A nice waterfront park if you don't mind the bums and bird poo.

Good place to bring your kids to have fun. There is some cool stuff like a train and a memorial too.

Veterans Park is home to an excellent veterans memorial containing markers and brick pavers of local military personnel who've served our country over the years. There's also a neat locomotive engine next to the memorial that makes for a nice attraction. Unfortunately, this park has also been home to a number of homeless and vagrants over the years who loiter on the premises and have been known to drink and do drugs in broad daylight. They tend to congregate around the public restrooms so if you visit the park, be very cautious of using the facilities since you don't know what you may come across inside or outside the building. Panhandling is a frequent sight as well here, so be cautious.

👍 Nice large facility with lots of parking. The field 3 where we played had no grass, only dirt surrounding it, so wind and facility vehicles stirred up a lot of dirt. Bathrooms were clean. There was a snack bar and food truck.
