Sixty five years young and I had never visited the redwood forest. Well I finally have done it. And what better place to do it than at the "Trees of Mystery"! We stumbled upon it and decided to. Heck it out. Lots of cool stuff to get your picture with out front. Walk up and pay and get a wrist band which gives you access to everything inside, and there is a LOT inside. Trails to wander through the trees. Overhead rope bridges so you actually are up in the trees themselves instead of just down by the bases. Lots of interesting signage telling you lots of history. A gondola ride to the top of the mountain for a spectacular view. You can either walk down the one mile trail or ride the gondola back down. We chose the walk. There is a very nice museum and gift shop at the end of the trail. Excellent place to visit. UPDATE We were back in Oregon for a wedding and our party of 12 drove the 3.5 hours down to see the forest. EVERYONE had the time of their lives. Definitely go if you are in the area.

Amazing. Expensive but the various activities make it worth it to see such cool trees. Fun activities. Such amazing and varied trees. Sky rope walk was incredible to be so high up and truly see how big the trees are. Sky Tram was really fun too. What a great addition. 15 and 17 year old boys enjoyed it as well.

Awesome place to visit! I believe it's like $20 for entrance. Love the views & all the crazy trees! 🌳 Went with friends & family, had a blast walking around & taking the gondola to the top. Trail down vs going back on gondola is a 6 a best between 1-10 for difficulty. If you're completely out of shape, not recommend trail back down from gondola. Great sights from heights to looking up. Crazy nature! Reminds me of the mystery spot but much bigger for a place! I would recommend visiting. The weather up north is so much fresh & colder compared to being from the bay. Had an exciting time.

Very fun trail. The canopy trail was the best part. We ended up leaving before we could get to the Sky Trail because the line was too long, so we walked back. Will definitely try the Sky Trail next time. They have a Café across the street (but we didn't go. But it's nice to keep that in mind.) Also, the gift shop was really cute.

Such a fun place! It's been there since 1931 and in talking to my mom, both my grandparents and great grandparents had been there. Lots of neat history here, and the trees are amazing! I would have paid the entrance fee just for the suspended walkways alone. Takes about 2-3 hours to see everything at a slower pace and taking photos, so you don't need to plan to spend the whole day here. There are lots of free trailheads to add to your adventure, but we really felt this one was worth paying for.

This is a great experience for families. Good price for a beautiful walk in the woods & gondola ride to a magnificent view. Kids can learn a lot about these majestic trees that are hundreds of years old & impervious to pests. The trail down from the gondola is a very steep walk, so not recommended for families or anyone that is not in shape to hold themselves back on steep, slippery downhills but it is very beautiful & quiet.

Great family friendly experience. The sky bridge and gondola ride were fun. Clean and well kept facilities. Easy walking paths. Nice gift shop an museum. $20 per person 12+ and $11 for 5-11. Bathrooms located around the park so your no more than a few minutes from a bathroom.

If you are in the area, you got to check this place out. This place is just really gorgeous. Huge parking lot, really clean bathroom. I saw only one bathroom in the woods which is only when you take the sky trail to the top ...but that too was not working so make sure visit before you go. I had the most amazing time, I can just sit there, close my eyes and listen to the trees for hours. Unfortunately the time and rain did not let me but I made the most of my time. Talking about the trees, these trees are not called giants for no reason. Iam just amazed walking surrounded by these beautiful piece of art. And right in the middle the rope bridges are definitely the cherry on top. It's so beautiful that anything anyone says won't do justice because you got to see it yourself. Tickets $20 which includes the sky trail. Have fun.

A lot of cool things to see and do. If you decide to walk down the mountain after riding the gondola up... You will need really good shoes, and get one of the walking sticks they provide at the top. It's a beautiful walk and well worth it... But it's a mile of REALLY steep walking. Spent about 3 hours at the park. Solid experience.

We had a fantastic time here!! Great place to truly experience the redwoods! Also, so much of the park is handicap accessible, so our Mom was able to join us for parts of it in her motorized wheelchair and still be a part of the fun! Huge shout-out to Tanya, Lance, and Brady who helped out our Mom and large group of 9 people. We truly value good customer service and these folks went above and beyond. This is a phenomenal place to get out and burn some energy off for kids, while still leaving them in awe of the redwoods. Definitely worth the money!

Absolutely worth it! It took us about 3 hours to do all the attractions including the wilderness trail. Our dog was allowed everywhere except the canopy walk. The wilderness trail was pretty rough downhill but there were warnings about it before entry. Even with a fair amount of people in the park at the same time, it was quiet and peaceful!

Ah-mazing experience. Enjoyed learning and reading about the history of the trees. We took our time walking on trails and even went under a huge tree. The suspension bridges brought an element of obtainable height for us to see the mid-sections of trees. The bridges are sturdy and secure. Rails are provided to stabilize your descent on the stairs at the end of bridges. Trails are well maintained, trees and bushes are manicured and the staff are friendly. We took the sky tram to the top and relished the beauty. Definitely add this stop to your route.

I had alot of fun at this place! Specially for only $25 The trees are amazing, the canopy trail was great and the gondola ride was so cool you could see the ocean from the top. There were so many wood sculptures and they were very detailed 👍.

I was quite surprised that the Trees of Mystery exceeded my expectations and shot to the top of the list of things to do in northern California. Educational narrations throughout the park via recorded audio stations accessed with a push of a button. With the Skyway Gondola and elevated walkways at mid canopy level, you'll be immersed in the greatest mysteries of nature and beauty. A must-see for all ages. This is a beautiful, clean, very well executed local attraction.

This was a highlight for my daughter and I on our Redwood trip. It was full of beautiful sights. The bridges were terrific to walk across, and the Gondola ride was also a highlight. Walking the trails and learning more about Paul Bunyan's story. It was so amazing being in a forest of trees of such magnitude. This was amazing.

Trees of Mystery was a lot of fun but my wife may have other things to say. We enjoyed the many displays they had there. The canopy tour was definitely nerve wrecking, my wife was tripping out! Similarly the gondola ride to the top was a real experience. I cannot recommend this attraction highly enough. I’m not one to stop at these types of road side attraction but this one was worth it’s salt. 5/5

This place is definitely cool for the view from the canopy tree walk. And from there up to the gondola ride to the top for what would have been an amazing view but there was a bit of over cast. From the top you can take the gondola down or take the trail. I took the trail and the family took the gondola and I’m glad they took the gondola because the signs aren’t kidding when they say the trail is steep and for experienced hikers. But if your up for it take the trail down. There is also a very nice Native American artifact museum attached to the gift shop, definitely check that out before you go.

This place was really great! It is definitely a busy place with many tourists, however, we were able to distance ourselves easily and really take in the beauty and serenity of the trees, especially up in the trees on the bridges. The business offers rides to the tram for folks that can't hike up the path. Note, the path is paved, but there is an incline. The tram was nice and the line went quickly. There are restrooms and a large gift shop with fudge and other goodies. There are a couple picnic tables outside in the shade where you can have lunch. We were skeptical because it appears like a tourist trap, but it wasn't at all! You pay your admission and you get to enjoy everything, no hidden costs or sales pitches. If you are in the area, it is worth the stop!

Great experience!! Beautiful scenery, fun and different sections. Felt like I got my money worth. The signs for the hike down from the gondola are accurate - steep and slippery when wet but doable if you are comfortable hiking.

This was a surprise that my bestie planned for my birthday. When we arrived it was raining and kinda cool out but it really set the mood for the whole day. This place is magical, the trees the canopy walk, the rain and the scenery was amazing! This was by far my favorite activity!! I loved this and the gondola topped the cake. I definitely recommend this place.

Awesome and feasible experience amongst the trees with wooden hanging bridges that you can walk across. This place is dog friendly (not across the bridges), but throughout the park. There is also a sky tram that takes you up the mountain to take in a breathtaking view of the forest. There is also a cute little shop where you can buy souvenirs on your way out. You can easily spend a couple hours here looking at everything.

What an amazing experience in the redwoods. Loved the sky trail, if you are looking for some adventure and experience how truly giant and majestic redwoods are then definitely do this sky trail. Even the gondola ride was perfect. The view on the ridge on the top is breathless. Overall really worth the ticket for all the experience.

Amazing time with my best friends in a magical forest!! This place was so beautiful and the treetop canopy walks were even better! Would do this over and over again, it was so much fun even though it was pouring rain the entire time it was a sight to behold.

Very cool place! My husband and I have driven past a bunch of times and today we stopped in, it was a beautiful little walk through the forest, and we got to walk up in the canopy of the trees! Super cool! Clean bathrooms. Nice gift shop, with reasonably priced things.

Very nice attraction. Lots of walking. Free shuttle to the Sky Trail, but you must request when you purchase your tickets. I loved the Suspension Bridges! Lots of photo opportunities. $25 for 13 and up. Wear sturdy walking shoes, bring snacks and water too. Beautiful gift shop. Easy to spend a few hours here. Worth a look. Went 6/13/23. Not crowded at all.

This place was on my bucket list of places to go. I'm so glad that I went! Such huge beautiful wonderful trees! The park was managed well. Let's you see a lot without too much impact on the forest. Liked the sky trail tram. The brotherhood tree was my favorite. The tree to tree bridges were amazing, reminded me of star wars lol. The park was responsibly priced. And we got our own redwood tree to bring home and plant. It's an Oregon Redwood now.

This was SO much fun! But beware....the hike down from the gondola ride is VERY steep but beautiful. Fun for the kids and educational pit stops along the trails. Don't forget to Google the "Hidden beach" hike across the street to the ocean!

My daughter and I are traveling around OR and found a flyer for TOM at the airport. We visited and were not disappointed. Being from Texas, I always love seeing the redwoods when I am on the west coast. We waited about 30 minutes to ride the gondola but we’re warned the wait was an hour long when we were buying tickets. It was worth the wait. We chose to walk down from the top despite numerous signs warning it was a tough hike. At 50 years old, but active, I made it without too much of an issue. My 13 yo daughter was tired at the bottom but not too bad. Some sections were very steep though. Love the trees, the skyway, and the gondola ride. Would highly recommend a visit to everyone in the area.

We have driven by this spot on multiple occasions on our trips through the area, but we have never made it during open hours ... Had we known how fun it was, we would have tried harder to enjoy this experience sooner. It only took about 2 hrs, but we could have spent more time. Lovely walks through the redwoods, lots of sculpture/craving work, the rope bridges through the trees was so beautiful, and the gondola was awesome, you can see the ocean from the top. If you are short on cash, the native cultures museum alone is worth the stop, and free... And so well done. Also, pictures in front of the massive statues in the parking lot are free, and quick and fun as well.
