The night sky in the sisiques is quite amazing.with no city lights. It's a very active place. You might want to grab some blankets and pillows and definitely a friend you're going to want to have someone backup your story. You won't be let down that's for sure. Enjoy your evening

Beautiful 😍! On a side note speed traps everywhere so many police Sheriff's and Troopers all on their high horse looking down on you even while they're stealing fentanyl from the evidence Locker😳

Visiting a friend who lives off the narrowest road, deep into the wilderness and yet only a few miles from the national forest. I've never felt more connected to the serene quiet and beauty. Photos don't do the picturesque views justice. I could live here.

One of my favorite things to do since moving to Oregon is taking a nice, long afternoon drive through the forest. The roads are fine for my car but can get a little rough in spots. I barely come across any traffic and can enjoy the ride. The view is amazing!

This place is AMAZING. Went tubing down the Klamath river. Cool at night. Hot during the day. Great for kids and adults. Camping here is so fun!

An absolutely beautiful part of Northern California that can’t be beat. I love the logging rods that cross the forest. For every road you drive on, you pass 20 more. There’s so much to see and so little time and the best part is that you’re truly all alone.

Beautiful scenery, hidden lakes and campground. I've seen the American Bald Eagle, and other wildlife.

You will find some of the most remote, uncrowded, scenic lakes and mountains here. I highly recommend Kangaroo Lake, a hidden gem.

Juanita lake is stunning, safe, and always relaxing. Yellow jackets are fierce, though, so be prepared.

We drove to the north shore of Lake Siskiyou. Beautiful day. There is a path to walk, run or bike ride around the lake, boat launch and a great place for a picnic ...even rest rooms available

Klamath National Forest is stunningly beautiful. There is so much to explore. Easy to find camping sites. Float down the river. It gets hot in the summer, but cool at night. I came here when I was going through a three day fast. I got lost by myself. It was the most cathartic experience I ever had. I've been to many places both domestic and abroad and Klamath National Forest ranks amongst the best of them. Come by yourself or bring your family and friends. I would be awe stricken if there wasn't something for you to enjoy here. Happy trails.

A beautiful place with unique native plants, like these Darlingtonia californica, salmon habitat, foresters, meadows, and a variety of wildlife. 🌲🏞️

Just breathtakingly beautiful, can't wait for more rain/snow to fill up the lakes and waterways for summertime fun in the sun!

The month of October was free camping; no availability to drinking water.November 1st the camping area closes for winter. There were 28 spaces to camp. On October 12, 2023, the temperature was 32°. We enjoyed the quiet and crisp air that smelled of Christmas trees. We were in our little 17 foot RV. We didn't check out restroom availability. There were 2 tent campers that left in the early morning.....too cold. We liked the generous space between campsites. We plan to visit again during the warmer weather 😊

If you love nature, hiking, riding and dry camping. It's all you. If your afraid of the woods. Not your thing.

👍👍 It offers two trails - Ski Bowl and Horse camp. Ski Bowl is higher in elevation and a longer hike. Beautiful, scenic views but it was hard to follow the trail because it was covered in snow still. If you’re feeling adventurous, I’d recommend ski bowl but if not - Horse camp is your best option.
