It's beautiful country. It's unfortunate that everyone is fighting over what little water there is here. The area is in long-term drought, and 500 residential wells ran dry in 2021 due to groundwater pumping by farmers. The Bureau of Reclamation should never have developed the area for agriculture, and now it will likely have to buy farmers out over time, as they retire. That will result in a smaller farming community, which will make things a bit more difficult for the remaining farmers. But what do you do. The water just isn't there.

Stunning terrain, the trees are absolutely magnificent. I always see gorgeous and adorable animals, and the more regal ones too. This whole area is so amazing. The little road side signs and various placards have really interesting information, and each pull off, turn around, and viewing area has an equally impressive display. Take the time to enjoy them if you can.

Amazing, beautiful, serene. Words cannot express the views and sunsets we saw every night. There was a "Strawberry" moon the last night and it was breathtaking.

Was on the way to Walmart, had to pull over! It’s so beautiful and peaceful when the trains are going by but to see the beautiful birds is such a treat. The lake is huge and beautiful.

👍👍 This was a super fun experience. The guides were great too, kept us safe and entertained. Some of the ziplines took a good 30 seconds to get across and you'd reach upwards of 40MPH on them. And there were some great views from high up in the trees there. There's a few rappels too but you don't have...
