It was surprisingly nice. The front desk host wasn't the nicest person and acted so weird about us asking for an extra trash bag for your laundry. I didn't see any breakfast there and the lobby is different the the photos it shows online. They have laundry rooms there upstairs and downstairs so that's nice. All and all it was a good place to lay mine and my families head.

Good location, nice and clean. My expectations were low, but I am impressed. I will stay here many more trips to come. My king room was large and had hardwood floors and a refrigerator. I also want to NOTE, the internet speed is extremely fast here. I'm a remote worker who relies on a computer, so I have multiple hotspots with me to insure speed, but the speed here is about 85 mbps. So I don't need a hotspot. I don't even get these speeds at the fancy resorts I stay at when I'm with the family. I noticed the negative reviews when I look at a place and the negative reviews of this place are generally someone who's only reviewed something one time which means it's the competition. I only look at reviews of people who at least put 10 reviews total and preferably many more reviews to get an accurate picture of the place to make sure it's not fake news.

It's a clean motel but the curtains are to long so you have a hard time keeping the room warm in the winter or cold in the summer. Shower give a lot hot water. Close to eating places and old down town

I was honestly expecting something seedier for the price, but the Maverick Motel surprised me! The rooms are aggressively clean, without a hint of shabbiness. Fairly recently painted, linens look nice, the toiletries are decent quality, the furniture isn't too scuffed, there's a minifridge. The lady who checked us in (through a window) was perfectly pleasant. The location is good- walking distance to a good selection of restaurants and bars and shops. It was quiet at night, even though we were right on the parking lot. It's not a 4 star resort, but I consider it a good bargain! If you're going to or through Klamath, I'd stay here!

The place was pretty affordable and the check in and check out process was fairly easy. The rooms are a little outdated but spacious and clean. One problem I encountered, however, was with the water while I was showering; the water temperature kept changing while I was showering from hot to freezing without me moving anything but that might just be a problem with the room I got. I also want to warn people to be cautious of strangers because I saw some sketchy people staying there.

This is not a bad motel. Don't let the price fool you. Fast check in. Check in allowed after 2pm. Most motels it's 4pm. Clean, neat, and comfortable room. Bed was fantastic. No smoking rooms. Please go outside and have your smoke like I did. A++++

good: large rooms, comfy beds, food-drink nearby poor: smelly room, dirty windows, ventilation is really noisy, fine curtains torn (5 inch holes, literally), heavy curtains don't do the job because some genius installed a bright lamp just above the window and the light falls onto the ventilation system, the receptionist did not know where the guest laundry was cons win big. not recommended

Strange experience. The front desk person (who was really funny and kind) only allowed one group into the lobby at one time. Maybe a safety issue? My room smelled like wet carpet, probably due to all rooms being pet friendly. My friend had dogs with her but her room didn’t smell? The area isn’t sketchy, but the guests are a little bit.

Everything is very old and a little broken. The curtains had huge holes in them, and a super bright light was outside the window at night so it was hard to sleep. The mini-fridge in the room was barely cold. The microwave wouldn't close until you hit it. Worst of all, the guest laundry machine was broken, there was a sign posted saying to use a laundry machine downstairs but the downstairs laundry was inaccessible. Definitely a "bare minimum" sort of place. I understand it's supposed to be a "budget motel", and I would be willing to overlook all the other minor stuff, but the laundry thing was very disappointing, cause we specifically chose a hotel with laundry.

Blah. The rooms stink. It says no smoking on the property yet people that live there smoke on the property. The room I stayed in was not very clean. The TV remote didn't work so I got stuck with whatever cartoon was left on the TV. No I didn't bother sayin anything. The room spoke for its self. You can hear everything around you.

No breakfast, rooms were dirty, service was bad, not at all what is represented on the site...and that's not the worst of it!! We were charged 350.00 dollars for 2 nights...TWICE!! The office people refused to refund the extra 2 nights charge, (we only booked 2 nights), even though they admitted that they made a mistake! Instead they said I needed to call my bank and get a refund!! The office folks also refused to give me a way to contact a manager about the issue! This happened on Friday and Saturday 6/16 and 6/17/2023. The refund issue has not been resolved as of this time! Stay tuned! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

For the price, it was a decent place to stay. The main issue is you can hear everything, cars and trains going by, flushing toilets and running water, and people talking outside. It was very loud. Also, the TV remote didn't work properly.

When I booked the motel, it was 60% less than others. I was a little concerned but felt I could spend the money I saved elsewhere. It's on the edge of downtown, and so it's not a "new" area. The room itself was fine. The odd thing is that the lobby is locked and to check in your talking through glass and a small half circle window to exchange cards and paperwork. ... it's the sketchyiest part of the whole experience. Room is secure and safe and had no odor. It's fine for a place to crash... sleep, shower, and leave.

Great little rooms for $58. Rooms were decently cleaned. Beds were 6.8 out of 10. Fridge worked well. The room didn't smell funny. TV worked with satellite. Free wifi. Definitely will stay again.

I've stayed here a few times as a halfway point to a destination and have had a good experience. It's not the quietest, most peaceful place, (there is a lot of come and go, people hanging out in front of the motel) but it does the job.

We stayed in the two king beds room just last night and it was great! We got in late, check in was fast and easy. Room was very clean. We were just there to sleep so we didn’t want to pay for fancy but both my husband and I were surprised at how nice the room was for being low cost. There is a really fun donut place close by- donut burger.

Good place to sleep, neighbors upstairs were loud banging around, but other than that it's ok no breakfast for the morning. Room were clean, not much to the room. No lamps on side tables . Wifi hard to get on. Shower is great. Bathrooms really clean . Has directv with HBO etc. Decent place , good value. Outdated a bit.

They charged me an extra 50 dollars in 25 and 25 so I have 4 transactions from them and I only started 2 nights at and gathered up sheets pillow cases etc....... So they didn't have to go through the trouble of doing that and when it called to ask about the charged the lady never even asked my name and told me I will call u back I'm going to look into it and I got nothing even went over there and someone got my info and said sorry about that you should be reambursed by Monday and it's been 2 weeks now

There's no deadbolt just a regular lock they charge as much as places that offer breakfast and hot coffee... The owners wife is very rude, made our stay very uncomfortable, there's not many black people in this part of Oregon, so I'm sure her ignorant weird behavior was because were black!!!! BTW bugs all over the bathroom! Housekeeping comes to your room about 10 times a day!!! The beds could be more comfortable for the rate

Great location and price but the owner could really do some small repairs and make it so much better. It was clean overall, but the microwave was disgusting and the hardwood floors were not swept. Carpet needs repairs or replacement. I wouldn't stay again.

This is a great little motel for the price! We paid less than 100$ for a last minute one-night stay in July. It was perfect for what we needed. It was pretty clean, and not too outdated.

Nice staff. Clean but dated room. During the height of summer the midge flies are invasive! As long as you exit and enter the room quickly they don't get in.

I really wanted to like this place based on others’ reviews of its value, but there were too many small issues. The upstairs guest walks one step and my whole room shakes. The bathroom door handle is about to fall off. The blackout curtains don’t quite meet in the middle. The room had a lingering musty-sharp odor despite hours of leaving the windows fully open and the AC unit on—it probably didn’t help that there seems to be regular guests here with a farm labor group that grills strong-smelling food from half a dozen vans in the back parking lot just below the first floor windows—or previous guests broke the no smoking rule. The front hallways and facade could use some maintenance. It doesn’t feel as clean as people suggested. It’s not an entirely bad place to stay so to speak, but I couldn’t help feeling regret going for value over (more premium) comfort the whole time during my stay. I’m not even sure $120 for a standard room for 3 adults in the middle of the week (non-summer, non-holiday) is exactly value, given what your typical mid-grade US hotel chains offer in Klamath for a slight premium (I checked).

The Maverick was a great stay for my family. Exactly as expected. Rooms were clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Staff was friendly despite our late arrival. Great location walking distance from a bakery and a great local coffee shop.

Booked a room direct with them a month ahead. Asked for a ground floor room because we were starting a tour and had our bicycles in boxes all ready to get on the train the next morning. What we got was an upstairs room with a king bed. Room was clean, small, and minimal. A 2star motel. Didn't get much sleep because of noises and bright lights. Also we paid $159. Going direct and when I looked online the going price was $98. complete. Ouch! If you are going to stay here book online for best price, and don't expect much. Clean bed and hot shower is all you're getting at best.

Stayed one night, rooms were ok clean. I did have a pest control issue. I was told by a shorter non Caucasian woman, they would only refund me if I keep pictures to myself and not speak about it. Wich is not only a health code violation, but also a violation of my civil rights.
