I think it was my second time here in a couple of years, but my last experience wasn't the best. Everyone can complain about having to wait too long here for anything but that wasn't the case for me. Looking at their prices and what they offering, I certainly thought my order was of real value for money, but nope it definitely wasn't the case. Their fries which I would compare to the small size in other places, probably not around Klerksdorp I guess where given a price of very large fries but their quantity wasn't for a family sized value. You can't pay close to R100 for fries and comeback home with something that wouldn't even feed two people. They probably have to visit other cities I guess, and maybe review their orders, they could definitely learn a thing or two. I usually pay R20 for the fries I got for that price.

I first enjoyed their chips 27 years back when I was a scholar in klerksdorp and after such a long time, my kids wanted chips while we were at bloemhof and I told them to just take time out cause we going to buy them at vaal fisheries, and kid me not, we were not disappointed as they enjoyed the chips, viennas and Russians as they are to die for. Thank you vaal fisheries you never disappoint eve after such a long time😘 keep doing what you great 👌 at even after such a long time

The shop is ok but the area is full of tsotsies

They can do better to avoid crowd on the busy days.

I take hygiene serious,which is something they don't. My man bragged about Vaal fisher's pap and meat that they make. So we went and bought it, the process of getting that dish made me not want to eat it. They could tell I was disgusted but what they were doing. Their space is not clean, so they should be thought hygiene on some real.

My grandson ordered 4x russians and R50 chips. When he arrived home only chips and I dispute the chips being R50 worth. The chips are oily and look old. Extremely dissatisfied.

Love the food but the environment is too busy

Their chip's spice is always the best in town. I wish they had a sitting g area though so one can sit down and enjoy their meal

Large fries is for only one man, and this is not a full fish tail. I don't know which fish swims with that tail? Scary to think what half fish would look like.

I will travel from Centurion to klerksdorp any day to get a dose of this goodness. Lived in klerksdorp my whole life and still I have not found a place with better chips that slap as hard as theirs do.👌👌👌

It's not safe at all people are getting mugged there, right inside their cars.For safety sake I won't recommend this place for anyone

The service the is Expectable however I've seen some employees don't wear masks with is kind of worrying as we eat the food they make with their hands. the lines are always long that place get filled quick no social distancing. The fudge there is exquisite yummy to the yum however sugary I would recommend if you don't have sugar tolerance. The fish is good the chips can get better the Russian it's a Russian. Definitely will go again

The food is great, certainly lives up to the name. But A lot of work is needed in treating the customers well. I had no clue which line I needed to be in. The slowness in response and time spent in the line, both with people who have already ordered and those who are still to order. Just left me feeling I would not return to this shop. Please steal the queueing system from Waldorf

Took me back to my childhood when fish and chips were the best we could have and the taste and smell was just as original. Please try the fish tail when you get the you won’t regret it. My trips ant complete without their food

The food was really sleg vandag , I got chips and Russia and they had a lot of salt. The service from the guys who were selling from the side ya nama had no good service @ all... Vaal fisheries it's no longer the same, we buy there because they don't have competitors...

The chips at Vaal Fisheries never disappoints, but because of the Russians they served us, I'm giving them 3 stars! Had a runny tummy because of it 😐 overall, Vaal Fisher serves the best chips in the country!
