We ran an adventure day (paddling, hiking, climbing and abseiling) at Pelindaba, with our starting and ending point being at Bobbejaanskloof. The picnic area was clean, the lawns were green and mowed, the pool is were sparkling and clean. The parking area had enough trees to park. The downside to the picnic area is that even though the toilets were clean and had toilet paper, they were run down and badly lit. The ablution blocks are seriously in need of maintenance.

This place is a jewel hidden in the Bobbejaanskloof close to the Hartbeespoort Dam and Aquamarine. The tranquility and peacefulness really let you rest and forget the mad city life.There is a very clean bathroom facility and are serviced daily.The pool is right at the bar and cafeteria with enough space for enjoyment for adults and children. There is also a large braai area for the bigger crowds and family reunions and a well looked after Tented Campsite.Power points are close by and the most of the Caravan park is shaded with big trees. care should be taken not to leave your belongings unattended due to the Juvenile and young Baboons that visit the camp from time to time,especially late afternoons and early mornings.The Krokodilriver is 100 meters or so below the camp and is good for the young anglers to try their luck to catch some fish however care should be taken because this is a rapped waterway and i will not promote swimming.i have enjoyed my stay and will go back again.

Bobbejaanskloof is one of my favorite places in South Africa. Beautiful people with friendly smiles and great service. The setting is breathtaking as is the view of the sunset. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone.
