This monument is in the middle of Semarapura city and reminds us about the Dutch colonization and many killings that Klungkung population suffer during the war against Westerners. Worth a visit, as you can dive into the history of this bloody wars between two opposite civilizations.

I adore this place as an open garden for everyone! It is a good place to relax, particularly in the afternoon. I like how the sun light appears during sunset time.

A really interesting and beautiful place the museum is also really interesting with lots I formations, but you have to be careful not to be scammed by just so-called local guides who are not included in the price of the Museum and who aske you the payment at the end without giving you information in the beginning, and insist on the same prices as the entry ticket

Very beautiful gardens around the monument. We were quite amazed to hear about its significance. Get tickets here to go to the gardens across the road.

Beautiful park, suitable for kids to play, no smoking area close to the night market, there is a small museum inside the big building in the middle of the park

Used to be a hall of justice in the past. The paintings on the roof of the two buildings are very detailed with punishments in hell and then marriage and dialy life.

Inside this monumen, you will find dioramas abou Puputan war. Around the monumen, you will find some activities like: yoga workshop, etc.
