Terrifyingly stunning, a small but amazing museum and the only place you can see the ogoh ogoh not during the holiday. One of the highlights of my trip. Truly unique and fascinating. It's a small donation of 10'000 rupiah (i would give more).

Awesome museum of Nyepi statues. Can be opened if you call them in advance. Ticket is donation of 20k or more, but well worth it.

Cost Rp 10,000 for adults and Rp 5,000 for children to visit. Completely worth it!!! The owner informed me that for Bali New Year, people make these giant monsters, and whatever ones don't get burned he buys it to add to his collection. Pictures don't capture how giant and cool these are!!! If you like monsters, highly recommend checking this place out!

Small museum with donation. Inside, many Balinese Ogoh-Ogoh in their full size. The details of every Ogoh-Ogoh was amazing. Kinda scary but very interesting. Worth to visit, and you can also visit the beautiful Pura Taman Ayun, just a walking distance.

(Translated by Google) It looks like a Nebuta festival in Bali and is similar to a doll-shaped Nebuta. The hall is small but interesting. It's very close to Taman Ayun Temple, so it is good to visit here if you stop by. (Original) バリ島のねぶた祭りと言った感じで人形型ねぶたに似ていて館内は小ぢんまりとしていますが面白い所です。タマンアユン寺院のすぐ近くなので立寄ったらここも訪れるのも良いです。

Its EPIC!! one of best spot to visit when you go around mengwi area, just a view steps from Taman Ayun. 10k IDR for entrance fee adult. Inside U can find more than 10 ogoh2 which is really looks 'alive' Why need to pay more only to see 1 or 2 ogoh2 in GWK?? Here in my opinion is complete and 1 bli will tell u all the story for each ogoh2.. Come and visit! Bali original one is here!

What an amazing place with an incredible display of Ogah Ogah - we were the only people there so the owner spent time explaining the collection, how it came about etc. It was fascinating and a great experience!

Very interesting place. A large collection of ogoh-ogoh from Balinese artists. Each collection is a winner from every area in Bali. You can buy this ogoh-ogoh with prices start from 40 million rupiah. The museum open from 9am - 6 pm. The museum keepers are very friendly and tell a lot of stories about the ogoh-ogoh. You have to pay 10k/person or give more if you like.

We visited the museum right before the Ogoh Ogoh Festival, which was a nice preview of what we can expect. Impressive (but relatively small) collection and absolutely worth the visit!

Fabulous collection of giant statues from Hindu mythology

  • 5/5 Kania I. 4 years ago on Google
Small but amazing museum of Balinese Ogoh-ogoh, Hindu statues paraded on the eve of Nyepi in Bali. To be honest this museum is far more educational than Denpasar’s Bali Museum, so you might as well go here. Definitely worth a visit!

(Original) Tempat dan Ogoh-ogoh nya bagus...Lebih bagus lagi kalau tidak berdebu, terutama di sisi barat bila tidak digunakan bisa dibuang sebagai sampah...
