Truly an experience not to be missed. From the most friendly staff to the excellent food.

Excellent location with excellent view to the heads, lagoon, and ocean. The coffee shop is good. The coffee is good and hot. Prices are reasonable (with respect the locatin/view). Friendly staff. The are plenty of car parking and free (munisabity car parking). The area beside the coffee shop has a beutiful public view point with deck and chairs looking to heads (lower level).

Lovely Cafe located at the base of the East Head (haha) with fantastic views of the Knysna estuary. Coffee was good and interesting. I ordered a Rooibos Cappuccino and enjoyed it! For breakfast I got one of their specials which was foccacia bread, with bacon and creamy mushrooms. Topped with a poached egg. So, so good

Lovely views from a charming restaurant. Really nice fish and chips. The calamari and chips was nice just unfortunate that there is no grilled option for the more healthy at heart. In general the service is good but the Sunday lunch rush after new year resulted in 60+ minutes waiting time.

25 George Rex Drive, The heads, Knysna. Everything about this place is amazing! The food is excellent and the cake is even better!! The staff is friendly, attentive and fast. I preferred sitting outside and the view of the lagoon is breathtakingly beautiful. Was so lovely just relaxing and enjoying our meal. Each customer who sits outside gets their own little blanket to use, which I thought was a lovely touch👌

Best breakfast location ever! The service was spectacular, food perfect, and views outstanding. After breakfast you can take the short walk on to the rocks to watch the waves crashing in. It's also worth the short drive to the top of the cliffs and stroll along the paths there for views from on high. Can't recommend this beautiful cafe enough.

First time here and was blown away by the friendly service, magnificent view of the lagoon, the quality of food and the prompt service. Once again, as with most establishments in Knysna, the hard wooden “bankie” tables are quite uncomfortable that not even 2 cushions can satisfy an under padded bottom. The food was just WOW. A must is the house salad. Not sure what goes into the dressing, but it was brilliant. We had the mussel pot special, fresh hake, house salad.

Beautiful view. The dishes beautiful presented. Considering rent, electricity etc. I orderd a blue cheese and butternut salad . 1 salad head. 3 small squares butternut, 3 small pieces of blue cheese, few nuts and 2 teaspoons marmelade (the other orange on the picture. Not much electricity needed for this. R127. Little overpriced as butternut is not really an expensive ingredient. Brought under the attention of the manager but it was left there. Maybe 5 small pieces of butternut would make it worthit. All and all the view made up for it.

Put this restaurant at the top of your list for where to eat in Knysna! It was recommended to us when we were shopping on Thesens Island. You can't beat it for the view, and the service was rivaled only by the food. The tide was coming in fast and we were entertained by watching various boats attempt to battle the swift current; most made it through, but several had to turn back. Do yourself a favor and stop by! There is a nice little hike to a lookout spot from the corner of the parking lot, and then a gelato stand ready to reward you when you get back from that 🙂

A tad expensive, but the view is sooo worth it! It's such a scenic spot to have lunch at, thus is quite popular and you might have to wait for seating space, but the food is great and the service excellent! 👌🏻 They have inside and outdoor seating, as well as spaces to sit and wait for a table to become available. There is also a small play area for little kids and they have high chairs, which helps a lot when going there with a toddler.

Magnificent views and super friendly service, and the food is outstanding. Freshest most delicious hake and calamari. Definitely need to stop past when visiting Knysna

Very nice Café! Lovely to sit outside, even if it's a bit chilly. Small fleece blankets given to sit on. Great views and nice walkways to explore in the area. Food portion sizes are good. Would be great if they could add Milkshake to the menu.

Fantastic, attentive staff and service. Food tasted great and was one of the best I have tasted since 3,5 month in S.A. Staff was real friendly towards our 2 small children and provided them with kids menus, high chairs, drawings and lots of smiles. We will def. be back and highly recommend this place :)

Great location. We had good weather and the service was really top notch. Friendly staff. Food was very good. Bit pricey but kinda expected for that location.

This really was great food! My steak was cooked to perfection. Views of the ocean were great. Definitely worth a visit when heading to see the Knysna Heads

A restaurant with a beautiful view and great food. They seem to get pretty busy and we felt a bit rushed, but their service was fast so that helped.

Very spacious restaurant with good inside but also outside seating. Outside area is protected with a tent but open to the water side. Good view and nice tables. Also extremely well trained and friendly staff, very attentative and fast - also the food. The cakes looked delicious, coffee was good and the caesar salad was presented in a way I have never seen before. Superb. Oysters also tasted very good and fresh. Also good ambience and we felt very comfortable with good people/guests around. Absolutely recommend and would be my day to day choice if we had stayed in Krysna for longer. Will keep this one on my list for future travels. Also parking worked well with enough spots, restrooms clean. 9/10 Julian points

The location/view is amazing. The food is quite nice, could be bigger portions for the pricing though. And the service could do with some improvements - no system in place for patrons waiting for an open table, we just sat there for a few minutes when we could have been offered drinks. And then we were asked which group got there first for the next available table, because it wasn't taken down on a waiting list. Other than that, it is a very nice place which delicious food.
