Very hidden and hard to find. Worth it! A super cozy restaurant, where you sit not in closed room but outside or optionally in the "tent", with the feet in the sand - great! Super service (thanks Q for the nice evening :-) ) and very very tasty and especially fresh fish! And as many have already written, there is no alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own. Glasses, ice cubes and wine cooler will be provided :-).

What a great stop for lunch. The setting is brilliant and the food is fantastic. Hidden away from the main stream this was truly a find. Bookings seem to be essential especially during peak season. We will see you guys again.

We were hesitant to go to this restaurant after a terrible experience trying to get hold of the restaurant to book, staff were also not friendly on the phone and we felt rather unwelcomed. We were glad we chose to ignore the experience as the food really was incredible and well worth the price.

We had a Delicious lunch of prawn poppets, large oysters and a seafood rice platter. Efficient and friendly staff are there to serve you with a smile. They don’t have a liquor license but you can BYO with no corkage. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you are just passing through for the day, as we were on this particular trip. You can’t get seafood much fresher unless you catch it yourself! Thanks Freshline Fisheries!

This is a must visit when in Knysna!!! We had the most amazing experience, the staff were all good and food was very tasty, well presented and value for money. I highly recommend the mussels, it was amazing! This was hands down the best meal of our holiday for me. Best seafood we have had in a long time.

Delicious sea food, great service. Portions are big, so make sure you're hungry (leftovers can be taken home). Definitely a place to visit when in Knysna.

If you want to have fresh fish for dinner, this is the restaurant to go to in Knysna! Very delicious food, friendly staff and nice setting as you can sit with your feet in the sand. They don’t serve alcohol so bring your own wine. Recommend to take the Seafood platter but make sure you have a big appetite!

Had such a delicious meal here! The seafood was super fresh and tasty. Also really enjoy the fact that you can order a dessert tasting plate (my dream!). Nice decor, with beach sand on the floor and fairy lights at night.

We made a short lunch stop here while on the Garden Route and it was the best decision - the fish/seafood was excellent and fresh, the vegetarian Sushi platter was delicious and prepared with care / love for details. We would have tried the entire menu if our tummies were big enough ;) Staff was also very friendly and attentive. Easy 5 stars!

Great seafood: kingclip, mussels and prawns and a very attentive service. Edgar was super nice and we enjoyed our lunch here a lot.

It's not easy to find... but it's worth it! The food was perfect... I have rarely eaten such a fresh and perfectly prepared fish . You sit very comfortably. We were served by Prince. who served us very friendly and attentive. His menu suggestion was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful evening and a great dinner...we will definitely be back!!!!

Lovely little shop to buy fresh fish . They open ay 8am . And the restaurant that looks lovely too opens at 11:30 . Will come around to restaurant one day .

A hidden gem! Top quality fresh seafood within reasonable pricing and wonderful hospitality (thank you Jayrene!) despite the restaurant being full, the waiting time wasn’t long and the food was finger licking good 😊

I had an amazing time at Freshline Fishiries in Knysna! The staff, including our waiter Jack, were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The food was incredible - the best prawns I’ve ever had! (We ordered a LOT of food) Plus, they let you bring your own wine with no corkage fee and provide all the extras like glasses and ice buckets. Fantastic food and a fantastic team - highly recommended!

TOP FISHERIES, Adjacent to Brito's Vleis Sentrum/ Meat Centre, Knysna. It is strategically situated approximately 100 meters from the public transport hub: The Knysna Taxi-rank. I visited the TOP FISHERIES on 3rd May 2023. Trading hours: Mon- Sat: 8:30am -6:30pm There are plenty parking and wheelchair bays. Due to construction, the entrance is not wheelchair-friendly, for now. I did not have to stand in a queue outside. Inside the shop, there were adequate seats. The menu is extensive: CALAMARI * calamari portion * double calamari * calamari & chips * double calamari & chips RUSSIANS * 2 russian & chips * 4 russians & chips * 6 russians & chips * 10 russians & chips VIENNAS * viennas & chips FRESH FRIED SNOEK FRESH FRIED HAKE Fish & Calamari Combo Crispy Fried Chicken BURGERS There are both take-away and table orders. The staff is efficient and friendly. Both card and cash payments are accepted. **You have to request paper serviettes. No restroom facility. I rate the fishery 3 stars.

No better place to have a laid back lunch of delicious fresh fish, sitting with your feet in the sand and surrounded by pretty hanging plant baskets and pots. Friendly staff are well trained in good customer service. No liquor licence so remember to bring your own.

We had oysters, the mussles pot and the mozambican prawns and everything was sooo delicious! The staff is also really friendly and helpful.

Incredible food, the service was second to none! All waiting staff were friendly and very knowledgeable on the various dishes. Very romantic to be eating outside by candle light and have the firepit to keep warm! Creates a fabulous atmosphere.

Coastal Cruisers car club had a wonderful lunch there today. We were looked after by the very pleasant and efficient Vanessa. The food was so tasty and fresh. Rob ensured that all 26 of us were well taken care of. Thank you to the entire team, we will be back.

Pleasantly surprised at the look of this place! Beach sand and decor was exceptional. Very relaxed. Great service from our waiter Prince. Food was excellent too.

Very friendly service. Great quality of food. Combo options provide a good range of choices. Also able to bring your own beers / wine etc, which keeps the cost down. Takes a bit of time for food, but good food takes time. Also great atmosphere.

Wonderfullly charming spot away from the main streets, hidden behind a boats repair centre... This is a fish factory with a restaurant attached... So the fish is fresh. Informal but very charming and ultra friendly staff. You sit with your feet in the sand in a nice shaded outdoor area. One of my new favourite spots.
