I enjoyed my time and food at 34 Degrees South. If you sit outside, you get treated to awesome views too of what can be described like Venice. Towards the latter part of the day, you'll see a gorgeous South African sunset (if there are no clouds). I had some wine by the glass, one of the few places that has a good selection of wines by the glass. Extensive wine list too For food, I got a seafood espetada which was simply amazing. It was with tuna and so so good. Definitely went well with the wine Special mention to Candice who made sure I'm good and attended to. She made it that much more awesome at 34 Degrees South

Oyster Delight 1 & 2 as starter was good - some of the oysters were better than the others. The fish & chips was out of this world - best I've ever had! Atmosphere is a bit too industrial to my liking, but vibey. Service was attentive with good timing.

Quite possibly one of the best restaurants in Knysna. The service is super, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is amazing. Every item we ordered was great. Their pricing is very reasonable too given the quality. The seating is nicely arranged and the space is great, the venue is right on the marina and in a beautiful location. I can recommend this place highly, and remember to make a reservation, it's very popular.

Love this place our new 'local' for the next week. It's a fantastic menu. The snails were the best I've had and the oysters on special 6 for ZAR39!! Try the Seafood Gumbo amazing flavour. You can buy a bottle of wine there (a great selection) corkage only ZAR30. Great happy staff with a nice outlook over the canals. It's git a great deli area as well as lots of chocolate and goodies to take home. I'm going to breakfast there tomorrow!!

Very cool place. The food was OK but not great. Some of the oyster dishes were interesting but a bit over the top, spoiling the rather small oysters. The seafood linguine was stodgy. The calamari steak was OK but chips were a bit soggy.

If you are looking for something other than the normal menu, this is the place to go. You will love the food and friendly service. We had the special of the day and definitely tasty value for money as recommended

Absolutely amazing food, service and setting. It was our 3rd time visiting 34 Degrees South and the foods just keeps on getting better and better. Probably some of the best sushi we've had in a while. We always stop there for a bite on our way to Plett and they do not disappoint. Definitely a must when on the Garden Route/Knysna.

Good place to stop for a variety of food and drinks from pizza to fish, steak and chicken dishes. Always had good service, friendly helpful staff and food was excellent quality and well priced. Depending where you sit (outside if the weather is great) pleasant view of the water. Great place for sundowners and an early evening meal. Oh! And visit the little market / shop inside. Well worth a stroll to find some interesting gifts and food.

Amazing service, location and staff! Thank you Thando for making this lunch a whole experience! The menu has amazing fresh seafood but also sushi, pastas and Mexican seafood dishes and everything was delicious. Such a nice atmosphere sitting close to the water.

Wonderful place by the waterside with the most delicious fresh seafood available. The service is also incredible with especially Shalin who served us as the best host you could wish for. 10/10 would definitely recommend :)

Delicious and fresh seafood. I shared a platter for 2 and it was more than enough to stuff the both of us and have leftover to take home. The service was quick and friendly. The waiter made sure to pay attention to our needs. The seafood here is fresh. My personal favourite were the prawns. I was also able to try a delicious milk tart that was served beautifully. Just the perfect amount if cinnamon in it for a sweet but not overpowering taste. Would certainly come back, if I wasn't only here on vacation. It's a must dine in if youre going along the garden route!

We landed on the Monday when it was half price sushi and they kindly squeezed us in, service was excelent from a young male waiter who also gave a great dessert recommendation, I’d suggest getting the Marva pudding. Sushi was delicious!! Even more delicious when half price so get going on a Monday but maybe book.

A really nice place to stop by for a meal or some drinks. My friends all had seafood and really enjoyed it, I had a veggie sushi platter and it was very tasty. The service was great and all of the staff were friendly. They knew we had a time restriction as we needed to get back to a bus within a certain time so they took our orders quickly and started making the food straight away.

Food was absolutely delicious. Service was outstanding. A very busy place so you might have to wait for a table but it's worth it. Fresh Oysters is a very popular dish so you have to try it.

Great lunch spot. Food was tasty and their menu catered for vegetarian and vegan. Stand out dishes were fish and chips (a must try), was the best we had while in Knysna, and the patat was delicious as well.

We went to the shop and bought some beautiful steaks for the braai and pickled fish to try it for the first time. The meat is fantastic quality 👌. The staff are very helpful and you can find a huge range of Thai, Asian and many other cuisines ingredients at the shop.

Me and my wife had Christmas lunch here before we head home for our lamb roast. We had the oister platter and oh my word it was so good. We had a seat right next to the water and the beers was Icy cold. Great experience and we also bought a couple of goodies at their import shop. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Favourite breakfast 😋 spot & very impressed with home delivery food service New Years Day. Delicious pizza 🍕the base is on par with Pizza Express...tastes like French bread flavour thin, crispy & yummy pancakes bacon ....Best 🍔 burger & chips. Also recommend the fried hake as they use a very light seasoning that compliments the fish. All the staff are so helpful and I always enjoy the dining experience...not to mention the international products sold in the shop...never stuck for a novel gift 🎁 as great selection here.... and deli is stocked with amazing quality choices. My go to One stop 'spoil me' shop for 2023

My 1st impression was the friendliness of the staff. Encountered many of them outside the restaurant & they were super helpful. Loved the menu & coffee. My food was good, location lovely & general ambience was nice as well. Will come again.

5 stars, not just because the food is delicious. But my waitress, Janine was fantastic too. Friendly, helpful and fun. I needed a spot to plug my laptop in and the manager, Dewald moved from his usual seat so that I could do that.

It's definitely not.. just a deli. It's an interesting mix of tourist shop selling Asian foods like noodles and soy sauce. It also has a bakery selling enticing baked goods and a shop that sells sweets that reminds you of an airport shop and with similar pricing.. so definitely not cheap. The restaurant food and service is good. The wine list is not exciting. Despite this.. it was a good holiday tourist experience.

Value for money is what comes to mind, service was exceptional, food delicious, outside seating to enjoy the water and sunset. Sushi was something different and well presented. Oysters enjoyed by some of our friends and they could not stop talking about it. Great experience and a must when at the waterfront at Knysna
