Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Siya the waiter was very good and looked after us. Our food was very good ribs are a very good choice and so glad you could get 🥗 with it. Food was quick to the table too. Lot of liquor to choose from and overall this is a very affordable place. I definitely come back! The inside looks like it hasn't been touched by a decorator since the 90s! Well worth a stop by!

Nice homey atmosphere and exceptional service. The food is delicious and the portions are generous, amazing value for your money. Everything was great but I can warmly recommend the pork belly, juicy, tender with perfectly crispy crackling. Will definitely come again.

Best grilled fish and chips ever! Wonderful salad on the fishcakes and salad. Really awesome waiter, he was kind, knowledgeable and went the extra mile. Prices were reasonable too. Definitely going back soon!

Fantastic pub. We sent a message on Facebook looking for a rugby game to watch. They provided a table with an excellent view. The staff couldn't have done more for us. The food was very tasty and they had generous portion sizes. The owner and his wife (at least that is who I think they were) had a great chat with us and made us feel so welcome.

Best Steak and Spare Ribs I ever had in my life. We heard from this place only from our Quad bike Tour Guide and it was the best recommendation I ever had. I must say I didn't expect to get such amazing food there. Everything started with some very good Garlic Rolls, but then the T-Bone Steak arrived. I never enjoyed every bite as much as here. You feel like you're in heaven. (when I'm there I would like some food like this again) Also I took multiple bites from my friends Spare Ribs and they were also perfectly made. They just fell off the bone. Also everything had a very good price: 1kg ribs for just R245 Two of us even had each twice the 1kg Ribs! It was so delicious! If I lived here I would come every second day. I wouldn't wonder, if I dream the rest of my life from this food. In the end we even need to take a picture with the cook and the owner. This day was definitely one to remember. If I'm ever around again, I will come again and also recommend everybody else to go here

What an amazing Pub! From the moment we got there till we left, it was fantastic! Excellent management, staff and exceptional food!! The onion rings were divine and Pint of prawns were top notch. Eisbein was 10/10!!!! Go visit while on the Garden Route!

What a pleasant surprise we had. Great vubrant atmosphere. The owners/managers are so friendly and give personal close contact. Really nice people. I would definitely recommend this place for good food and service. We'll be back when we are in Knysna again for sure

Two weeks ago I reviewed this establishment a 5, boy was I mistaken. We ordered a burger as we were forced due to there not being sufficient ribs. The burger came and the party was raw as in red and not pink. We send it back and it comes back raw again. We give up and order the chicken snitchel. The carrots weren't al dente they were under cooked. Manager never came to the table, never apologized. Horrid experience for a birthday dinner. If you want good service and proper food go support a business that cares about paying customers.

What a gem!!! A family run business who go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your experience in their pub and grill. Food is exceptional and very reasonably priced. I have been there four times during my two trips to Knysna and never been disappointed. I'm going to Knysna again this month four five nights and will be eating there again.

Great delicious food. The manager was attentive and very welcoming. The chef also came to chat briefly. Max, a waiter and our waitress Sharon ( I hope I have thus correct) were amazing.. all in all a great experience and I'll most certainly be back

The food was very tasty, the fish was caught fresh the same day. The atmosphere is cozy and the whole team is very nice and friendly. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend the restaurant!

Best Jalapeño poppers in the country by a mile. These are beer battered, setting them apart. Pricing point for Knysna more than reasonable too. R75 for 4 poppers. That's better than most who only offer 3. They don't have crumbed mushrooms on the menu, but the friendly owner and his wife arranged with Chef Jeremy and he produced stunning crumbed mushrooms. Our Eisbein at R170 was gorgeous. Crispy outside and tender and juicy inside. Will definitely be back.

A busy lively Old Pub vibe, very attentive staff. The Sunday roast lunch was great. Only disappointment was the size of the yorkshire pudding. Don't get me wrong you get a huge plate of food. Divine roast potatoes, choice of three or four meats, veges, gravy and yorkshire pudding. I would have loved a whole pudding instead of a just a small piece. Other than that I can't fault it. Next time we go will sit outside on the deck which has a lovely view over the Knysna lagoon towards Thesen's island.

A great meal, the service was fabulous and sitting out on the deck watching the sunset just made the evening extra special...
