Absolute favorite place to visit whenever in the area. Quaint setting in the garden. Authentic Italian food prepared by the owners on the premises. Limited menu, very well executed. Make sure to book a table well in advance. They are only open limited times on certain days. Big bonus that you can bring your own drinks without a corkage being charged. Easy accessible from N2. Parking in the street.

The worst experience ever!!! Booked a table a week ago and confirmed it on the day! Arrived at the restaurant to the rudest waiter (wore a bandana) ever that told us we didn’t have a booking!! He walked off without even trying to resolve the issue!! People skills are non existent!!! Had a similar experience the year before…..!!! Will rather order Debonairs next time!! Ended up walking out

This is on if my favourite restaurants. A small family owned restaurant, right in the heart of Sedgefield. The pasta is freshly made by Steve, and Leah, his wife makes the most divine desserts. Their marinated vegetables are the best I've eaten. They aren't licensed, so you can bring your own. Book to avoid disappointment as they're only open 3 days a week. Highly recommended.

We watched them make their home made pasta . Wonderful authentic food. My Cannaloni was the best I've ever eaten .Best of all we were outside under cover so we were very comfortable re not being close or enclosed with other diners.

Went there as it showed up on Google and wanted to order takeaway pizza as it is recommended in the area, but when we arrived we were told "it's chok and block and they cannot even do a takeaway", but the place was empty??? Not even one table...

Wow - firstly. This unassuming converted house in Sedgefield really surprised me. Tucked away on a side street behind the Engen is hidden some the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Three courses (ate every bite) Starter The focaccia fresh and delicious. Mains I had the eggplant parm over their homemade tagliatelle. The cheese was broiled and the sauce acidic enough and sweet enough. Loved it. My friend had the seafood pasta and it was packed with prawns, mussels and calamari. The price here was only R175. Perhaps we are just used to Joburg prices but it is amazing value for money. Dessert Apple cake Chunky bits of apple enrobed in warm, cinnamony cake served with vanilla ice cream. I will dream about this cake. Wow Pavlova It was large and a cornucopia of fruit decorated the meringue. The hours are short so be sure to make time in line with the hours during your trip.

Had the most delicious pork shoulder and vegetables. Their food is always up to standards. Only downside is they only open some days

Best hidden gem in Sedgefield, fresh pasta made on-site, I had the lasagne and my partner had a baked eggplant dish, both were reasonably priced and beautifully presented and prepared. We will definitely visit again. Do not expect a typical restaurant experience.

Excellent, family, Italian restaurant. The food is fantastic. The service was exceptional with a personal touch that made you feel part of the family. The setting was homely and intemate. Away from the main road and in a very quiet space. Top quality food. Reasonable pricing and we'll worth the visit! They will definitely see me again at our next visit to Sedge.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Sedgefield. All food is freshly prepared. The owner is a soccer fan and loves to chat about his favorite team from Germany: Bayern München, if I spell it correctly. He wears the team’s shirt when they play. The place is a bit funcky, which makes it even more interesting. We are repeat customers and have never been disappointed with the service and quality of the menu.

People! Go and eat here! Everything is made from scratch, fantastic service. Wonderful atmosphere and quite frankly simply the best food. My choice is the tortellini (smothered with cheese and mushroom based sauce) and the Leah Cake which is sublime. Leah and her husband make this restaurant all the better.

Service, food, atmosphere perfect. They can not do enough for their customers and always go the extra mile. My favourite place to fine in. Or get the occasional take away from.
