Great place for a sunny afternoon enjoying the freshest oysters and engaging the staff in their knowledge. We've been here before but today our puppies were welcomed with water bowls and constant affirmation from all in the restaurant.

Fresh Oysters. Lots of them! And the quality is very good. They offer interesting toppings like horseradish. Friendly service and the oysters arrive well prepared! Definitely worth a visit!

What a brilliant experience. Very quirky and rustic little joint. Lovely way of sharing a wonderful oyster experience. Be careful, It's pricey if you let your taste buds get the better of you. Great fun. 👍

One of my favourite places to visit in the area! A true gem and a must visit for oyster lovers! Bernie and her team take pride in ensuring you have an unforgettable experience. They do their best to support eco-friendly practices, are located slightly off-road with stunning views. Go early during busy periods.

An absolute must-do if you’re in the area. Fresh, plump oysters with a array of condiments. And a choice of bubbly’s to go with it. Best ever. Also a “make your own”picnic option for those in your group that don’t eat oysters. Fabulous.

I'm so glad we stopped by! The oysters are delicious, large and lekker meaty / substantive, and did I mention oh so delicious. They provide toppings for oysters 6 ways, all of which are worth trying and going back for. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the view / surroundings gorgeous. I would go back every chance I get.

I encourage you to take your time here. These ladies make the day better with they're friendliness. The oyster's are superb, so sweet and fresh. You can have them with different toppings adding to the experience. You can also build your own picnic by adding wine, pate's and pickles. A must stop in the Garden Route!!!

For the oyster lover, it's heaven! Slightly expensive at R26 an oyster, but fresh and delicious with a variety of toppings. They do cater for the non-oyster lovers with a small deli selection of cheeses, pates, cold meats etc. that you can more than fill up with; not terribly child friendly though. Only one reservation slot per day at 12h00. They even have a kiddies play area for the little ones to play at. Solid 4.5 🌟!

If fresh oysters and a view is what you're looking for, this is the place for you. Rustic but was a great experience. Don't expect anything glamorous. Short stemmed glasses and plastic plates. But the best oysters with condiments to give you a taste of how it's done across the world. With a 270 degree view of the surrounding hills. Apart from picnic style snacks there is not much more to eat. We loved it.

We vacationed in Knysna and I am so sorry we only found this place on our way to George airport for our return trip home. Fortunately we were early for our flight and saw their sign and decided to stop by for lunch. It is a beautiful place and great ambiance with awesome people. The owner and her staff were very friendly and made our experience feel special with all the attention given to us. The oysters were fresh and delicious and experience we had with all the people we met will definitely see us coming back for another visit. Thank

👍👍 I enjoyed my time and food at 34 Degrees South. If you sit outside, you get treated to awesome views too of what can be described like Venice. Towards the latter part of the day, you'll see a gorgeous South African sunset (if there are no clouds). I had some wine by the glass, one of the few places...
