Great restaurant with very good service! Especially the tartare and the mushroom risotto where fantastic. For chocolate fans I recommend also the cheesecake (vegan) for sharing.

The restaurant is so beautiful, the gardens are peaceful and tranquil. The staff and manager make everything more amazing with their service, they go all out to make you comfortable and happy. The food is to die for...best experience all round

Hidden gem in the woods between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna! Found it only through a tip of friends. It’s actually the restaurant of a high class 5 star lodge. The service level (waiter: Sive) is comparable to a Michelin star restaurant (tried several in Germany). The restaurant has a very stylish, modern, elegant African ambience. The food was on point and perfectly balanced and spiced (butter chicken as the chef’s recommendation of the night and butternut tagliatelle). The chocolate cheesecake was also very delicious but a bit to much after a starter and main. Prices are very reasonable. Overall highly recommend.

Stunning Restaurant with historical flair in a wooden area. Service from the beginning until the end was super. Food and quality outstanding. The Chalmar fillet was delicious and the chocolate cheesecake was incredible. What a desert. Check it out by yourself. 100% recommended

The food service and atmosphere were fantastic 🤩. The best African restaurant I have been to. Not cheap. Best to have a booking/reservation but well worth it for the experience. If it's your birthday or anniversary tell them and you will be amazed 😂

Excellent service from management to waiters! The waiters took great care with our strict dietary requirements and treated our children with great care. The food was outstanding with superb vegan options - my young child didn’t leave a crumb on his plate he enjoyed it so much!! Overall lovely atmosphere and experience! Thank you so much!!!!

Beautiful restaurant on a lovely property. They were quite full when we arrived and it was hard to get a waiters attention. The food took a really long time to arrive and I can’t say anything was particularly well made other than the hamburger. We ordered a few starters that ranged from bad to mediocre and the fish was not much more than edible. For the price you can do better.

Looking for something special. This is a gem, that was absolutely a best spot for a birthday dinner. Foos looks beautiful and taste comes with the look. The service is outstanding. Look no futher. This is a must do,on your list.

We had a fantastic meal here on our last day in Plettenberg Bay. The lamb Malay curry was delicious and the service was very good. The restaurant decor is lovely and very welcoming. We wish we had found this place sooner! They managed to squeeze us in at the last minute and the atmosphere is great. I would highly recommend.

A hidden treasure in Plettenberg Bay! Beautiful gardens, excellent service, not only beautifully presented, but, delicious food. Reasonable prices especially for what you get. A real treat. What a pity we were the only guests. We will definitely be back.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience and meal at Zinzi. The property is beautiful; there were 8-10 deer roaming the front of the property when e arrived. The meal was great - highlights were the pork belly main and stuff calamari snack, along with the pudding cake dessert. The service and staff were all fantastic as well. Overall, absolutely recommend a visit!

Without a doubt, The most special place on Earth. We had the most beautiful evening for a very special occasion. The food was "Out of this world". The Fillet we both had was cooked to perfection, do try the Chocolate Cheesecake dessert, it is Devinely out of this world. The service Professional, Friendly with such care and compassion. You can't get better anywhere else. This place is an absolute gem. When you visit Plettenberg Bay ..... at Zinzi Restaurant and Hunters Lodge is where you need to be. From the ambience to the staff and the food, you can't fault this amazing beautiful Gem in the forest. We were blessed while having dinner with 2 Bushbuck walking casually out of the forest, gracing us with their presence. Absolutely amazingly beautiful. Love this place, thank you for always making us feel special with the extra care you take.

This is hands down the best restaurant I've ever been to. The service is amazing and the view just incredible. You almost feel like the elephants sit on the table with you....just magical. The food is very high quality and the Salmon I had was almost melting on my tongue. If this restaurant would be located in Europe, the michelin guide would add another star to their rating.
