Millwood House Museum

Tourist attraction Museum Historic site

👍👍 One of the best preserved museums in herritage sites ive come accross. No entry fee is required and they have a very rich history of the town of Knysna. A must see when you visit.

Disappointing. Dirty, unkept and the caretaker appears to have moved in.

The one staff member that was there, was really insightful and friendly. A lot of interesting history of Knysna to be seen.

There are some interesting items on display but while the museum has potential, it wasn't worth the price. And it was free.

Nice to visit the museum if you are a fan of history. They are still under construction of a few areas. Some work needs to be done, maybe a pamflet when you enter the museum would be helpful during self guided tour.

Interesting place to visit when the wind is blowing or it is raining. Needs some TLC.

Very nice and scary old dolls, but what a great experience. Service was very nice and friendly, no entrance fee, just donations. All the stuff is very old but very good condition.

Museum in desperate need of some TLC. Dirty floors, paint peeling from the ceilings, some displays have water damage and a general lack of care. Labels on artefacts are faded and difficult to read. Displays haven't been touched in 20 years.

Lovely little underrated museum. It is free to enter, and nice to see the life of the area when it was formed.
