Good food and some local guy doing the music. I love it, a sense of being a part of the community.. something to do on a Friday night apart from going to a resuraunt. They have redbridge beer on tap and that is a major bonus. There is a variety of different types of food to choose from. Not really a market, more of a local gathering..

I visited the Friday market on Friday, July 29, 2022. Unfortunately the Friday market was closed.

Very vibey ! Live music , wide variety of food you can choose from . There is a bar , jungle gym for kids to play , 2 bon fires .

Friday 16:00-20:00 great place to grab a dinner when everyone wants something else from Sushi to Curry to Pizza or prawns … all in one spot with live entertainment and a well stocked bar

FANTASTIC plsce.. GREAT VIBE.. nice music.. but the Asian food stand..Thaifood.. sucks!!!.. what a ripoff for the little portion.. Never will I ever eat from there again .

The cutest little local market. Cheap food and drinks and a lovely vibe with live music. Would recommend if you're around.

Nice market with great food and drink options. There's a small kiddies play area, but it can get VERY busy. They do have some other vendors as well for shopping or buying kiddies toys at to keep the kids busy and an ATM if you forgot to bring cash, but most vendors have card machines also.

Great Vibe. Excellent food. Long queues to get food so make sure you get there early!

Lively and lovely atmosphere on a Friday evening. Good selection of food stalls, cheerful people all around, nice live music. We enjoyed it a lot.

Ja..we enjoyed it..a bit limited on the vegetarian/vegan options..but one must remember it s a School fund raising occasion and the lack of card facilities does make it a bit awkward...but the atmosphere was carnival like but the people attending a bit snobbish and group orientated...Strangers will find it a wee bit one-sided.. 😉 😀 😜

Still one of the best things to do on a Friday. Excellent food, bar, kids paly areas, live music and a festive atmosphere. Get there early as it gets quite busy.

Lots of places don't accept cards. So bring cash, as there's no place to draw any there. Aside from that. Beautiful little market, but nothing to really write home about.

Very nice, laid back market / get together. Watch out for the curry stand, their curries are flaming hot! ;) I had a few bites but couldn't finish it and even the salad contained chillies 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 And the currystand made a mistake while charging me (and I should have asked for a receipt but they have no register) they charged me 280 rand for a veg (90 rand) and butter chicken bunnychow (100 rand) and 5 springrolls that were on special voor 40 rand. So pay close attention to the bill ;)

This place is such a vibe! The food unfortunately is not halaal and doesn't cater to Muslims but there is a chip stand and donut stand that is to die for! There are picnic benches all around the area and you can grab a table with family and friends and enjoy the live entertainment. Its someone new everytime I go there. Theres ample parking but its on gravel or uphill roads. This market is family friendly. Big playground for kids and there are usually kids playing soccer on the grass as well. The bonfires add to the ambience of this market, it's amazing. However, table get filled super quick, so be early or bring a picnic blanket!

A great place to meet friends at the end of a working week for a beer, great food and light entertainment in the form of a one man band playing olden goldie's. Even if you're on holiday and don't have friends the family crowd is friendly and welcoming.

We loved the live music, there's a wide variety of food and drinks selection, we particularly loved the samoosas and shawarmas!

If you on the area on a Friday night this is a must. Great food, good drinks and awesome vibe. Prices won't break the bank. There is something for everyone, pick your dinner and drinks from a variety of food stalls and enjoy the evening.

Some nice food stalls and pleasant live music. Lots of seating and big fires in braziers to keep you warm. All outdoors. Really good fun.

Food is great, some of the stall owners are a little coarse but still very good. The music was not up to standard I'm afraid.

Lovely market with fantastic food and many choices. Arrive early to get a table, or bring your own blanket.

Great place for a bite to eat with freinds and family. Plenty food stall options with sit down tables and of course great wine. Fires to warm your back while live bands play. Definitely recommend a chocolate donut here.
