One of the best beaches near Knysna. It is a long golden sandy beach. It is very clean. It has a good public restrooms. There are plenty of car parking. The view of the beach from the car parking is very beautiful. There plenty of sitting chairs to relax and watch the sea. The road from Knysna to the Brenoton beach is also a secenic road.

What a beautiful place!!! All the years I have not taken the time to take the short detour to Brenton beach. I am so glad I did. Stunning beach with the most amazing sandstone formations and a view to die for. I could spot some whales from the viewpoint before you get to the little village which was a super treat for the day.

Awesome beach, nice location for the restaurant. Nice coffee shop. The restaurant seems to be closed for repairs when I have been there in the past, but the coffee shop is an alternative. Dogs were not allowed on the beach, not sure if that's seasonal rules but was disappointed nonetheless.

This is a blue flag beach. Natural and unspoilt. Life guards on duty. Clean and non polluted. Not crowded and relaxing. Water is moderate temperature and sage for swimming. Amazing views and breathtaking stretch of the beach. A definite must stop on the Garden Route.

Gorgeous beach on Brenton-on-Sea, decorated with mosaic benches and artwork on the staircase. There's a restroom also, unlike with other beaches.

Beautiful, peaceful beach. Life savers on duty. Just be aware, there are a few rocks in the shallow water. My husband cut his foot open on the rocks, so just be careful.

nice beach with great views. entrance es close to the beach end, with rocky outcrops for exploring. the swimming area is tiny, as it happens in almost every beach in the region. beach is LONG, it actually connects with Buffels Bay on the other side, good for long walks. Only downside is the access, quite a walk down the cliff from the parking lot.

Very nice day at this beach. Very clean and dog friendly. Wasn't busy at all. Definitely recommend a visit.

Really nice beach to walk on, saw a few washed up jelly fish so I definitely did not swim there. But really beautiful sights and cool rocks. It's a beautiful beach.

Stunning, quiet and always with a good possibility of spotting dolphins or a whale while you walk.
