👍👍 I wasn't sure what to expect of this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. The guy that did the show was great. He taught us a lot about the amazing birds. I really liked that the birds fly between the viewers and you get to hold them and view them close up. This is well worth the visit. It is a relatively small rescue and rehabilitation center with several dozens of raptor birds, but the guy who runs it makes it a truly remarkable place. His stories about birds are very amusing and informative. There was also flight demonstrations with several different birds. A great place to visit, also with kids.

A must visit. Very informative tour with a flight show. These people love their birds and are passionate about them. The dog steal the show at the end with his tricks and love to play with him. Very affordable to visit.

This is a small rescue and rehabilitation centre but the guide made it really interesting and there was a flight display as well where he flew different birds of prey in and amongst the group. You have to go on a tour. They are normally 10am, 12pm and 2pm. I really enjoyed this tour and I felt like what I paid for is also going towards a really good cause. The guide was truly excellent and informative and I highly recommend it. A great activity for families and children. There is also a lovely small gift shop where you buy your tickets.

As bird lovers, this is a must-do if you are on the Garden Route. We did the flying experience tour which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff there showed that they care very much about rehabilitating these birds and releasing them when ready. They also educate the public on how to protect these birds of prey. Our guide, Mark was informative and passionate about these birds. It was cool to see a couple of owls fly so close to you. I highly recommend it!

The guide was charismatic, engaging, interesting. The center is well cared for and the cages and birds looked after. Great place to learn about raptors. The show consisted of the barn owl, crow and another owl - they swooped very close to our heads. They was no interaction between the birds and people and the show didn’t display any of the bigger birds of prey. Show and center was enjoyable.

What an amazing experience....my sister took me and my elderly parents for the afternoon. We ended up being by ourselves. The guide was so enthusiastic about his job and knowledgeable. Such a treat to have someone so passionate about their job. I promised not too complain about the barnowl stealing my bag....so I'm not. He was so stunning I would gladly have given him anything 🤩 Thank for a wonderful afternoon and keep up the good work. I highly recommend a visit here...so clean and well kept with very friendly staff.

Fantastic tour! One of the better go to places on the garden route. Deserves much more than 5 stars. Mark takes you through the rehabilitation center and presents the raptors with great passion and knowledge. It makes for a tour which is both informative, fun and exciting. Next to the center there is a nice coffee place and great craftsman shopping places.

A lovely way to spend an hour. Very informative guide, very interactive with the group and very entertaining. It's not our first time at the Raptor's and will definitely not be our last.

Such an incredible experience. The tour is definitely worth it. Incredibly educational. The guide knows his birds. And you will learn so much about each bird’s personality and mannerism.

This place is exceptional! The owner, Mark, is clearly passionate and knowledge about all things raptor-relaed and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour (ZAR140 per adult). The dog, Gustav, is equally friendly and loves to perform some very clever tricks for guests. Our tour was wonderful from start to finish as we were greeted by a lovely girl at the front counter who clearly enjoys her job. Definitely recommend a visit, even for non-bird lovers!

Very informative and Mark, the guide and man in charge was so passionate and great with our 2 kids. The birds are all rescues and Mark knows each of their stories so well and explains everything during the tour.

Educational yet fun and awe-inspiring. The guide speaks with passion and makes the whole experience come alive! The story behind each bird makes it all the more personal for you. The rehabilitation intention behind the whole place is very endearing. Then there are the live demonstrations with owls flying just over your head showing their aerial dexterity! The speed-crushing rooifalk which can dive at 250 to 400km per hour to crush its prey with its thickened leg bones ... Fascinating knowledge and a very good 'save our planet' cause! Thoroughly enjoyed it. You also get to be part of the show.

Lovely activity for the family. There was an interesting tour about the rescued birds and then a demonstration of their flying. Reasonably priced and the kids loved it.

Loved it, fabulous work that they do. A real thrill to be so close to these beautiful birds. The "show" is spectacular and a privilege to get to be able to appreciate these birds up close in this manner.
