The worst experience. We made a booking, on our way (30) minutes away from the venue they phoned and asked if we want to book for another night and confirmed our booking again. Got there at 17:00 to find out they did not make the booking and that it is a first come first serve basis and that they dont do bookings telephonically. Very bad attitude from the lady working there, extremely rude, no apology or explanation. Poor customer service. She left us at late afternoon in a very difficult predicament with our small children without accommodation. Another couple experienced the same inconvenience at the same time we were at reception. I do not recommend Knysna Log Inn Hotel. Very unprofessional and unreliable.

Honestly, I would not stay here again. The facilities close at 9 o'clock in the evening and the generator was so loud by my room. The room was okay, but the TV wasn't a smart TV and it was tiny. The breakfast was from 6 to 10 and the checkout was at 10 aswell which makes you feel rushed in the morning. The breakfast was really bad. The "chef" and helpers didn't know what Eggs Benadict were. They do not offer late checkout either.

Basic, clean hotel in the centre of Knysna and close to the waterfront. Breakfast is okay. Friendly staff.

Horrible dark rooms. Not a feeling well hotel. Staff is very friendly though. And the location is great. Just a couple of minutes to the Waterfront. Severe electrical Problems.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Not worth the price. If you coming for business, go to the Protea Hotel by the waterfront. Everything is better there unfortunately. Internet is bad, keeps dropping, facilities advertised are not available, parking is controlled by a manual gate with a pad lock without any staff member around. I would pay half what they charge to stay here. It's just not up to standard. Staff are nice bu that's not enough to make it worth coming back. I was hoping for better. Very disappointed.

Not bad. Only things missing were maybe a bar fridge and some basic things. Rooms are small, but not a major thing if you stop over for a couple days. Pool area was nice. Breakfast the best.

The smarter and more up market affiliate of Graywood or the old 'Kaboos hotel' hotel opposite. In fact the breakfast included in the room price is served here for both. Very friendly service and efficient manner by reception staff. Spacious with off-site parking, casual bar, and well-appointed swimming pool and lounge.

You would think that a hotel in the middle of the town would not be great, but that is where tou will miss a jewel of a place. The interior is beautiful and they have thought of everything. It was nice to come into a cooled airconned room on a hot afternoon. Breakfast gave a wide variety of fruits and hot buffet. Bonus was the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi!

Comfortable rooms. Good food. Very courteous and helpful staff. It is like a log cabin, a very different stay experience.

Great place but no bar fridge in the rooms and no smart. And can the staff be more friendlier please, especially the "waiters" or whatever wanna call them. I have never seen such grumpy people. They seem so irritated by everything🙆🏿🤦🏾‍♂️

Would not recommend it to anyone, service from staff was very bad, not getting assistance when we needed it. Slept in dark, bath with cold water , when we asked for generator to be switched on the staff did not, they said they will only do that when permitted by their manager. In the morning they could not help us with iron ( they only have 5 irons for the entire hotel) response I got from reception. Breakfast was terrible there was literally nothing,no bacon ,no egg, no mushrooms 😒 left the hotel hungry... Worse experience ever, the 3 days I spent there felt like a year.

The room is clean and neat and comfortable but the bathrooms are aging and not so great. Take note, showering requires you to climb over a fairly high bathtub edge to get in, so if you have mobility issues, this is not for you. The breakfast was fairly simple but fine. Staff are generally not fussed about much although Zola, the night time bar tender was lovely. Overall a fine enough stay but the place could definitely do with a refresh/update to be the four stars that it claims.

It's a beautiful old hotel. Beautifully crafted in wood.

It's a pity my phone was off so I couldn't take pics. But what I can say is, its a nice place to have a weekend away with your friends. Nice rooms that smell fresh, you can get both sharing and single rooms. And the staff there is very friendly and helpful. Am definitely going there again.

I had a wonderful stay, friendly staff and very helpful. The breakfast is realy nice and one thing i loved about the establishment was the wood work...definately on my return list. Thanks for a lovely time

The interior of hotel is really beautiful....all wooden ......friendly and helpful staff.....great location .....the waterfront is walking distance from here.

Stayed at hotel for 2 nights. Very friendly staff, clean room & delicious breakfast. Would, however, suggest a small bar fridge & more tv channels. Enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend

Comfy room but noisy with traffic outside and honking. Breakfast ok and staff not very friendly except the guards. No tour of the hotel given nor information about it or the area. Sauna never heated though I press 3 time on the button and waited the indicated time. Doesn’t feel like a 4-star hotel.

We were there for 4days. Beautiful hotel. Cozy rooms. Delicious breakfast. Excellent service and friendly staff. Everything was well maintained clean and very neat. Pool jacuzzi and sauna was clean. Will definitely recommend this beautiful hotel.

Unfortunately the photos on the website are the best about this. The reception is beautiful but the rooms are outdated and the space afforded to the pool area is very limited.

The pictures paints an amazing picture however, the rooms are very outdated and not as expected at all. However, the service received was great and it is a good location.

The rooms are nice. Clean and comfortable. Has a nice aircon. It has a nice pool, jacuzi and sauna. Stuff is very nice people. The bad stuff are: Very very bad breakfast, food is smelling. The eggs is smelling. This not 4 star. The toilet shower needs improvement. There is no fridge. Even though it has its problems, I really like the place. If u improve the brealfast it would be perfect. You are wasting food as people are not eating it.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast included when you book a room. A great pool as well. Only negative is that the jacuzzi was dirty so we were unable to use it and the sauna was not working.

Comfortable, clean. Good service from staff. Small,but a little older and not as modern as some other accomodation near the Knysna Quays. Small pool area. Upper level passage is a little narrow and rooms are quite close together.
